  1. Hey stocky, you hit the nail right on the head there, father and son combo, did you spot them. old baggie up northish.

However, you are most welcome to come up and try and out drink us.  Outsing us should not be a problem for you guys as we are all well behaved at home.  I'm sure we can all laugh together.

It's English nonsense from yompa, but we know better.  Look out for the winderuppers.

  2. First big game was probably 1965 when Hearts went to Pittodrie needing to win to stay top of the league, this they did winning 0-3, but ultimately losing the league to Kilmarnock on the last day of the season, thanks to a 0-2 defeat at Tynecastle and Hearts lost the league title on goal average.  You couldna script it any better, or worse.

One thing I do remember was Aberdeens keeper, the one and only 'Tubby' Ogston.

look at the table from 1965 :010:

  3. Hey, it's only a testimonial, and the County game is a practice for the season ahead.  Don't read too much into these games, it's all about preparation for the real deal.  Yes it would be pleasant to win these games, but the world won't end if we lose both......or will it.

  4. Is it just me or are these youngsters in the World Cup hitting the ball harder than ever.  So far most of the goals have come from longish range and have been pretty spectacular.  Just watching some games and think to yourself, would Russell Duncan or Denzil or Bazza or Rossco have hit the ball so hard.  I don't know what these guys over there are eating, but it certainly does not seem to be doing them any harm..................more power to the legs.

  5. I don't care.

I don't care if England win.

I don't care if England lose.

I don't care if Motty commentates.

    I don't care if Motty doesn't commentate.

I don't care if ITN Junior commentates.

I don't care what the English media say.

I don't care what Bonzo says.

I don't care who Bonzo supports.

I don't care who any ICT supporter supports during the world cup.

I don't care who thinks I support another team.

    I just dont care.

ICT are bigger than the Worl Cup, it is only a filler during the close season and merely a distraction before the start of the SPL, the real reason we are on this planet.

Get off the fence I hear you all shout,...................ok, I believe that Brazil will win, but watch out for Australia as an outside bet, and also Portugal.

    However, I really don't care.

  6. hmmmmmnnnnnn

This is not a rumour, he actually said this.

Anyway, to my point, there is a thread started prior to this one in 'on the park' stating exactly the same :sleep01:

  7. 36. A fire in the kitchen is not a laugh.

    :015: :015: :015:

You can just picture half a dozen stoned students laughing their heads off when the chip pan bursts into flames at four in the morning and then they throw a kettle of water over it, (don't do this at home kids), which makes matters worse and sends the aforementioned dons into raptures, as the kitchen units start burning and the curtains and blinds catch fire as well................. :015:wait till the landlord sees this :015:

True, it's not quite so funny when it belongs to yourself :019:

  8. Best news of the close season yet. This is also on Teletext just now. I thought Dods was immense last year and was my vote for ICT player of the year. You get what you see with Dodsy, no nonsense no frills defending, but consistently fabulous throughout the whole season, and a couple of goals thrown in for good measure. He has taken on the gap left by Bobby and continued to give the team a platform from which to build from.

He is some Machine, and he does run on diesel. Last year he was turbo charged, more of the same please.

Sign on the dotted line please Mr Dods....................................................... :003:

  9. Playing tennis at your age.  Whats an old git like you playing a game for public schoolboys ya fekkin ponce.

Get a grasp man, sort yersel oot.  Of course, it does mean you can sit at home during the world cup and sip a few chilled voddies, how unfortunate, never mind.  Strangely enough, I b/ggered mine playing badminton a few years ago.  The hall I was in did not have sprung flooring therefore there was no give in the boards, the only thing that did give was my achilles tendon.  Sore for weeks, not much fun.

Anyway, this is what I want you to do if you want to make the start of the season.

The treatment options for a complete rupture of the tendon include surgery followed by casting, or casting alone. There are advantages and disadvantages to each technique and the options should be discussed with your physician. With surgery, the tendon is either reattached to the calcaneal bone (if it has been pulled off or avulsed) or the two ends are sewn together is the tendon has been torn in two.  In most people, a cast is applied after surgery until healing is complete. Each patient must be considered individually. There are many reasons why a person may not be a suitable candidate for a surgical repair of the injury. These include, but are not limited to: poor circulation, presence of skin problems at the site of the injury, age (old gits take longer), a sedentary lifestyle (fat bestard), other medical conditions (nutter) that make the person a poor candidate for surgery (such as heart or lung problems). If the injury is treated non-operatively, then a cast is applied until healing is complete. The length of time required for healing is highly variable. Often it may take as long as six months for complete healing to occur. Drinking copious amounts of vodka will dull the pain and transfer any soreness away from the affected area and onto the head, repeat dosage as necessary.

  10. Yes it did say that a second French club would be confirmed later, therefore that surely rules us out. I wonder if it was based on a zonal draw, ie if the Danish teams pulled out we would have been entered, but this news is based on the Italians not competing, fraudulent baskets that they are.
