If I am not mistaken Geo played for Caley boys at one time - a couple of years ago probably. A real shame - a waste of a young life.
-
Pagliaris van which used to come round in the seventies was brilliant for ice cream.
-
Ronnies was always ace. Fish and scampi excellent and macaroni pie supper with pickled onion the bees knees. Ah the good old days in the old I R A.

As a Manchester United supporter - second team after Caley Thistle - and don't call me a glory hunter as supported them as my English team way back in the days of The Doc,- I was disappointed when they didn't hold on to Tevez. I wish him all the best but hope City fail miserably after the way they treated Mark Hughes. If United win nothing this season it will not be because they didn't keep Tevez, it will be due to injury and lack of players to shore up defence.
-
Hopefully it was just a precautionary move with a view to keeping him fit for our push to win the league.

Did everyone just stand beside them while they started insulting one of our most valuable players? Just as culpable IMO...
I've stuck up for these lads on plenty of occasions even wrote an email to Mike Smith complaining about the heavy handed stewards to then hear this...
Barrowman, Zadi, Allison & now Imrie.. who next? Maybe Munro, Esson or Tokely have a few bad games do they deserve to be called c*nts?? sort it out ffs!!!
Do you think players don't talk or take notice of this sort of thing.. who is going to want to play infront of a crowd that insults them, when they've got the opposing fans doing the same thing??
You might not be personally responsible but if you are sitting beside one of these muppets then tell them to sort it out...
Quite right. As I said in earlier post if I had seen who had been shouting these obscenities I would have had them thrown out. And there must have been plenty of people in Section G who DID see the culprits and they did nothing. Unless they condoned this behaviour they should have taken action to have these morons removed.

Really sad news. The end of an era. He was a true sports fan and a fantastic commentator. R.I.P.
-
Imrie did very well last night, worked extremely hard for the team and scored a good goal. He was not impressed with some of the fans behind the goals though and stared out long and hard some of them after scoring. These are the guys who are good at the name calling. Leave it out guys, you are not doing anybody any favours with the abuse.
Was delighted for Imrie last night. Was disgusted with some elements in section G and had I been close enough to see who they were I would have had the stewards throw them out as their abusive language was totally unacceptable.
-
What were section g saying to Imrie? As i never heard since i was in the main stand
section G were being really abusive to Imrie when he was warming up. effing c--- being among the more classy ones! I was disgusted with them and obviously Dougie was less than impressed. He might be leaving us but that sort of abuse is not merited and why would he want to stay now?

There was plenty hot food available at match.

Thought I saw somewhere 7.45 kick off. But I will be there well before that. Can't wait for a proper game of football. Cmon Caley.

Any word on new date yet?

I'd love to see this, it would be great to see just over 2000 people turning up to a 6000 all-seater stadium. More expense on their side, from what I can see they will not be promoted this season, nor next, and it's only a matter of time before their better players move away, and that's County back in a bit of debt again.
A county supporter could well have said this of ICT not so long ago except we have 7000 seater.

Nobody is trying to argue that Dunfermline gained any advantage from the (giving the benefit of the doubt) errors made....so the score really doesn't come in to the argument, IMO.
4 tournament rules were broken by Dunfermline and the punishment reflects that.....in fact, they are lucky not to have got a fine over and above the expulsion.
You are quite right - nobody is trying to argue that Dunfermline gained any advantage

looking forward to Monday night even more now.
-
If Roy has signed contract with Stenhousemuir will he be eligible to play for them in the cup?
-
very harsh in my opinion given scoreline. And I would bet a few quid that had this been the old firm that had made this mistake they would still be in the cup. one rule for two teams and another for the rest of us.
-
He has been a good servant to us and I felt heart sorry for him last time he was on subs bench warming up with no hope of playing. Will be sad to see him go but if he gets the chance to do something else then good luck to him.
-
Thought he did a good enough job while he was here. But he has gone so that's that.
-
I am relieved as was not looking forward to driving in treacherous icy conditions tomorrow night. Snow melting fast now but come 8 o'clock tonight it will be horrendous with black ice everywhere.
-
Kris Boyd to St Andrews then?
-
I have sky sports and managed to get Angola v Mali match on Eurosport no problem. Unbelievable finish to the game.
-
I hope game doesn't go ahead as roads will be very dodgy at night and although I will make the effort to get up the road if possible to get car out of drive I will be bricking it there and back.
-
Oh well saves me having to spend all day tomorrow digging car out of snow and clearing drive. Can't see it being any better on Tuesday as it starts to freeze at night and will probably be more dangerous for those on roads than middle of the day Saturday.

Whatever the actual cause the sad thing is that a young lad who used to wear the Caley Thistle shirt is now dead. My heart bleeds for the pour wee soul who had such a troubled time that it brought him to this sad end. R.I.P. Geo.
