Back in Brisbane now after a great trip home for the final.... how about an Australian/Queensland/Brisbane ICT supporters group. I know there's a few supporters in Brisbane.

As a certain Mr Butcher said immediately after the cameras were turned off following his post match interview  on wednesday night......

As mentioned elsewhere on this forum, I am coming from Brisbane Australia for the final. Flight leave tonight. Also going to get to the Hibs game which is a bit of a bonus. Cant wait.

Hey its the people who are choosing not to be there that will regret it if we win. That's their choice. I am coming all the way from oz for this. I wouldn't dare risk missing us winning our first piece of serious silverware. I'd regret it for the rest of my life if I did.

I think ICT thrive on being the underdogs. Bring it on.

Just wondering if anyone else ever named their pets after any football teams/players? My border collie dog is called Caley.

How many tickets have been sold now? I suppose there will be a mad rush on Tuesday morning. It'll be great if we can sell out our intial allocation.

Can anyone tell me....if the league cup final ends in a draw after 90 mins is there extra time and penalties on the day or would there be a replay? I want to make sure I get to see ICT lift the trophy.

Loving the cup final scarf. Just ordered myself one of those. Now roll on Tuesday when I can buy some tickets and then just flights from Oz to book and I am all set for the long trip home. Thinking I will even get in the rearranged Hibs match on the Wednesday before the cup final too. Either that or Motherwell (away) on the Wednesday after the final. I am thinking it would be good to be there when TB returns north though.

Ahh-ha. great, thanks. i noticed that the aberdeen site said they wouldnt be starting to sell to the general public until Monday 10th March (all others - shareholders, season ticket holders etc will before this). I hope this wont be the case for caley thistle too. That leaves just 6 days for booking flights, and getting over there before the big day  . If its the same for ICT then maybe I should just book the flights and gamble that I will defnitely get a couple of tickets.

I see they have confirmed prices, seating allocations etc now,  but any word as to when tickets will go on sale to the general public. I am not booking my flight from Oz til i know I have got tickets to the game

Some may see me as a Glory hunter if you like but I have done my fair share of trips to Ayr Utd, Livingston etc over the years when I lived in Scotland. I remember being at the Albion Rovers (dump of a stadium)  match on the day the twin towers were hit in New York. That one always sticks in my mind. Obviously living in Oz now its a wee bit harder to get to the games but I have tried to coincide trips back with matches. We will never ever be in our first major final again and its something I don't want to look back on and say I wish I had been there.

I am thinking I will also get in the rescheduled  Motherwell game on the Wednesday after the cup final too which is a bonus

I am coming from Brisbane, Australia for this one. Costs a fortune but is worth it for our first major final. I was all set to come to the final last year but we fell at the "final" hurdle.

Not been to a match (other than a pre-season friendly v Clach a couple of years ago) since the match v Dundee when we were presented the first division trophy as we bounced straight back up. Came over specially for that one too. Hoping for an equally as successful outcome this time.

I agree thats its far too early in the season for a discussion like this. 11th has to be our first target and anything above that considered a bonus for this season. TB is too good a manager not to be able to sort out the home form and i have ever confidence that we'll be sitting around 7th/8th by the end of the season. Injuries have not helped our cause so far.

I first joined around 2001. I vividly remember being on the website at the time when the news of the 9/11 attacks came through on the TV. Incidently that was the same day that ICT beat Albion Rovers in the cup as I remember travelling through from Edinburgh to watch the match that evening and listening to updates on the radio all the way.

I know this has been discussed bfore but has anyone got an update on whats happening with the official club website shop page?

I've got family coming out to Oz in a few weeks and I am keen to order some stuff for them to bring (rather than pay postage).

Well speaking of birthdays it was also mine yesterday (14th). 3 on the one day must be some sort of forum record?
