  1. I will be absolutely gutted if we get relegated. However, after about a month or so I'll start to really look forward to the new season in the SFL for all the reasons you just stated - plus the matches against my "diddy" team Raith. :015:

We'll get to see the legend that is big Stevie Hislop again!!

Heard somewhere that he had left them???

    :) Really?!

  2. He didn't say Dundee were going for Butcher. IF we go down and butcher doesn't want to hang around we have someone waiting in line who would be delighted to get the call.

I love Terry Butcher, but if it had to be anyone else I would LOVE Robbo back!

That man is a neanderthal! He's going down and losing his job!

Even if worst comes and we still have TB next year in 1st Division we'll be straight back uP!

If yogi was going to lose his job i think the falkirk board would have sacked him by now

I don't know, I think perhaps the main reason he wasn't already sacked was because the board wouldn't want any turmoil or uncertainty after the split for the big important games! If he gets them relegated he could be replaced!

  6. It's not that long since we went to Ibrox with a defensive set up hoping for a draw and ended up with all 3 points...

To be fair though, as great as that day out was, it was a pure fecking fluke! Other than the penalty our only shot was from outside the box in the 80th minute and almost went over the stand... I reckon we will have to attack on Saturday or we are just asking for trouble!

  7. This is exactly the scenario that I didn't want to happen. Do we play for the draw? Do we play for the win? And what are Falkirk going to do? I think they will be very very nervous, because if we score first, they then need to score 2. If they push on though, I could see us hitting them on the counter attack

They'll come guns blazing no doubt (let's not try and credit Hughes as a tactical genius); 4-3-3. Hopefully we will play a solid 4-4-2 and hit them early on the break, after that we can stand back and repeatedly attack them on the counter attack as they have no option but to attack and fiercely!!

I'm confident we can do it!

    BELIEVE!!!

  8. There can be none of these "horrible feelings" on Saturday!

The support has to be immense!

We will be the 12th man and help Caley stick it to that big mouthy ***** Hughes!

    DO.... YOU... BELIEVE?!

  9. But Butcher is sticking by him and many of us cannot fathom why -

And it is because Butcher can make instinctive, excellent decisions like THAT that our defense has hardened (even against the big 2) with Lionel's introduction and we are hopefully on the road to SPL safety!

If he had been a key player and we were 3 points a drift at the foot of the table then maybe he could be a just victim of these pelters!!

    Agree to disagree.

  10. Sorry to disagree with the majority and no doubt compromise my reputation as a sane human being, but I totally disagree with the brutal criticisms of big Lionel!

He does make SOME mistakes but for **** sake lads, we are a bottom six SPL team with limited pulling factors and available funds! We are NEVER going to have a flawless back four! He has put in a lot of effort and has played out of skin in several games this season, not to mention in his incredible performance against Rangers!! For his first SPL season he has definitely adapted far better than the likes of Andy Barrowman!

Give him until next season and see how he fares!

  11. I know Odihambo's may not be match fit but I'd still prefer to have him on the park for his pace than Barrowman.

I'd rather have Lionel up front than Barrowman... He's a diddy. Every time he's subbed on he makes no influence at all, other than capably managing to slow our attack by around 50%.

Hope to see him away in summer.
