  1. - Esson -

    Tokely - Bully - Munro - LDZ

    Proctor - Duncan

    Hayes - Cox - Foran

    - Rooney -

Same for me. Normally, I'd say drop Duncan and put Cox in the midfield, with Sanchez in attacking mid but against Killie, I'm going to be a bit more cautious.

Screw being cautios tbh. This is a cup tie. No need to be going defensive. We need to have a right go at them.

    Esson

    Tokely Bulvitis Munro Zadi

    Proctor Cox

    Foran Sanchez Hayes

    Rooney

  2. Any other club would be looking to confirm the managers position before dealing with the players and I can't see Butcher staying for SFL1 football and tight budgets. Trying to put the cart before the horse.

My immediate concern is the treatment of Tokely, he should be tied up for another couple of seasons at least.

What do you mean by that?

  3. I dont think he will be that big a loss. The only time he has played well this season was against Motherwell and I reckon that was a shop window performance. Granted he has been injured but he seemed to be lacking in effort this season

  4. to be fair if we did start shooting from outside the box and kept screaming them over and way wide we would be complaining about that. Yesterday we didnt have a problem with actually shooting it was just the finishing that was shocking. Rooney, Sanchez both had one on ones that they missed.

At the start of the season yes we did try to walk the ball in but now I think we just need to get more target practice as we will not be able to pass up so many chances in other games this season

  5. My problem with him is that he doesnt attack the full back. He looks like he has pace and has a good cross on him but he wont get to the byline and swing it in. He would rather play a pass into a CM or into the feet of the striker. there is nothing wrong with that but I would prefer to see him run with the ball

  6. Hamilton sign David Van Zanten.

Dundee sign Willo Flood on loan, but not getting Dobbie or Anderson.

Partick sign ex clyde and pars goalie Bryn Halliwell.

Where have you seen this been confirmed? I cant see it anywhere and he is supposedly linked with a move to Middlesbrough

  7. I dont agree with these decisions becuase of fans safety. I think the game should still be going ahead. Just looking at the Arsenal - Bolton game which was cancelled for the same reason. It was a crappy excuse considering the Bolton fans going to the game had already made it to London. How the hell was it not going to be safe for them?

The same I reckon would have been the same for our game. All the main roads are fine. There is a bit of slush on some of them but nothing serious. You drive a little bit slower but it is not dangerous. The only roads that have not been cleared are the ones that our around our houses (or mine anyway) and it is not that much hassle anyway.

Another thing is if people thought it would be too dangerous they just wouldnt go to the game and the people who were willing to make the journey would still get to watch a game of football

  8. McGregor was in the wrong, having a late night sesh with backwards Barry, But he is a good goalkeeper and is good cover for Gordon, simple as that. As for Barry Ferguson, he is a terrible footballer and can GTF

Before this season I would have agreed but he is doing a brilliant job for Birmingham by sitting in front of the defence and allowing Lee Boywer to break forward hence he has started scoring goals

  9. Sair ain the day, disnae sound like we were at the races, deffo missed Harkins due to his sending aff last week, great effort from club and fans to get the game on,but Airdrie were obviously up for it and the game hinged on the 2 penalties and Mackenzie getting sent aff :025: . Cup day aff next Saturday, then back to business.

Two penalties? What happened? I have dreadful broadband here and can't connect to the Dundee site for match info........

Dundee missed a pen before Airdrie scored their pen

  10. Do Scotland not always struggle against what we call the diddy teams?

Over the years we will put in a performance against the big boys but when it really matters we waste our chances by losing to a team we think we should be beating.

So for all the people saying he only scores against the diddy teams. That is exactly what we are needing.

    Brinh him back

  11. At least it shows the players are putting effort into training and are determined to try and get better results on the pitch

If they were not interested in playing for this club the players could quite easily avoid getting injured during training sessions. This shows that they are working hard

Then again I would rather have them on the pitch than being injured
