  1. Instead of a replacement Manager should we not be considering a replacement No.2? In December Brewster won Manager of the Month. Parkie was no.2 & highly regarded by players & fans. He was spot on with tactics & substitutions. He leaves in January & Malky returns at the start of our 3 months without a win streak. At the same time Hibs go on a great run & make the top 6 & in contention for 3rd/4th place. Coincidence? Since Parkie left some of Brewsters team selections, tactics & substitutions have regularly been called into question on this site. Personally, I'm not convinced Brewster has the right man with the right experience alongside him & that this is what is behind the lack of consistency within the team.
  2. A new Stadium that has a museum & shop in it? I know.... there's always one!!!!
  3. Thought a draw was a fair result against a poor Hibs team. Defensivley Duff deserved his MOM award & again Phil looked un-convincing. Coundn't help but think of Monday night with big Bobby marshalling the line & we mised this today. Midfield (& subsitutions is where we lost the 2 points today). Imrie had a shocker, Black was classy first half then lost his way after Roy got subbed. Roy, up until he was subbed, was by far our MOM & for me was having a stormer so really don't get why he was subbed. Agree with previous posts that when Imrie came off that Zander or Vigurs could have slotted in left midfield rather than Lionel. Lionel is a left back & played well against Liverpool but looked lost in midfield, often sitting too far forward at times & final ball could have been better. We missed Russell today to break things up & I look forward to seeing a midfield of Duncan, Cowie, Black & Vigurs/Zander starting a game. Up front Ronney is impressive. Looked out on his feet half way through the second half & surprised not to see Wood or McAllister given the chance of a run out. When he adapts to the pace of our game Rooney will score many goals for us & in particular his link up play with Black & McBain was excellent (just like Marius). As for Barrowman I fear we have signed a donkey who is a can't pass, cant run, can't link up poacher. I fear for his first team starts after today. Good to see 2 up front today & I think this was due to Duncan's injury. Rooney & Wood next week wouldn't be a surprise but given we are away at Falkirk I expect 1 up front again with that 1 being Rooney.
  4. Not sure what Mixu's plans for Rankin are as he was played out of his best position(s) today on the right of midfield. We showed how much we've missed him with Dougie's performance & the his replacement, Lionel, being played out of position today. Good to see him back in Inverness and wish him best for the season as an ex ICT stalwart & as evidence today that Mixu must be on "borrowed time".
  5. Not sure what you were expecting Jay? A good chance to give your thoughts on the SPL. Chance to win a signed shirt for a couple of minutes feedback works for me as well.
  6. Was glad to see CC make the changes when he did. We were excellent in the last 20 mins against a good team. Has he now found a system (3-4-3) that we should use in every home game?
  7. Just a bit of Highland humour which everyone around me found amusing. I'm sure Brewster has more important things to be worrying about. Harmless fun.
  8. Your both right. It was the Wilson free kick & yes Dennis lobbed the keeper beautifully when Dougall blew for the free kick. Brilliant Wyness shuffle to get the space to shoot & Dougall should have held back blowing for the free kick to see what advantage came from it.
  9. Any news from the club on when we should be expecting the renewal forms to be arriving through the letterbox?
