  1. Hi folks, long time CTO member, infrequent poster. Like so many who have already posted, I too have become increasingly frustrated by the poor communication and service from the club in recent years. I would moan to friends and family about it but decided to do something about it and reached out to the supporters trust to understand their role and to see how I could help. Scotty is right in earlier posts, there are only a small band of dedicated supporters who are giving up a lot of their spare time in support of the trust, in particular on the fan survey to date. Whats clear is the current club board appear to treat all fans the same, including the supporters trust. This has to change going forward. The outputs from the survey when published won’t be easy to ignore! I can 100% assure anyone that the trust is not in the clubs pocket! I’ve now been co-opted onto the supporters trust board. Why? Because I do believe relationships between fans and the club can & must improve. I believe as loyal fans we can take our voice to the club and though open dialogue and cooperation that we can make things better for all fans at the club. There is a strong willingness from the supporters trust to improve the fan experience at the the club, we just need the club to listen, acknowledge and take action. If you are also frustrated then there is something you can do about it. You don’t have to go as far as me and join the board (I’m happy to discuss that with anyone who is interested) but even by joining the supporters trust then you are already playing your part in trying to improve the fan experience. It’s only a fiver, less than a city centre pint these days. If we can increase the trust membership then there is no way the club can ignore the fans voice! https://www.ictsupporterstrust.org/join-us
  2. Has anyone used the Direct Debit option to pay for their season ticket? Just wondering how much more it costs e.g. fees or interest?
  3. That is the best post match interview ever! Tonight is the night, as if we didn't know already, that Terry Butcher became a true Highlander!
  4. When was Russeldinho's last goal for us? Remember him scoring a beauty against United in the cup a few seasons back but has he scored since then? Also there used to be a stat that we have never lost when Russell scores for us? Assume that is still in tact? Cheers
  5. United had 2 "observers" at the game today so obviously taking next weekend seriously. They took pages of notes as well. As for next week, I'd give the same starting 11 another go at United.
  6. I have every replica home shirt since the club was formed in 1994 & look forward to adding to the collection when the stripes are back next season. Also have a couple of signed balls, Pele erra circa 2001 & Brewster erra at the start of last season. Pride of place is an Adam Rooney framed photo which he specially signed for the wee mans Christmas last year. Top bloke.
  7. Many thanks to everyone at the trust, DVD arrived safe & sound this morning. Will enjoy with a few drams on Sat night after our Party in the Park. Cheers
  8. That is correct, but I have to give Ian Broadfoot the ICT statistician the credit for clarifying this in response to a question I emailed him on Monday. ICT's most recent shut out had lasted for 490 minutes (5 full games preceded by 29 mins of the QoS game and followed by 11 min of the Raith game). When I asked Ian about the longest shut out he came up with 514 minutes, the vast bulk of which was indeed under Charlie in the post split phase of 06-07 with a few residual minutes into the first game of 07-08. ICT's longest unbeaten run is 22 games between 2nd November 1996, during a run of away games in the transition from Telford Street to the Caledonian Stadium, and 26th April 1997 by which time the Third Division title had been won. This included a run of 11 straight wins which was kicked off by a 2-0 victory over Ross County on November 16th (the first ever home win at the Caledonian Stadium which some may also remember for Sandy Ross's notorious "assault" on Richard Hastings - the first of two such derby incidents). It ran through to an away win over Albion Rovers on February 15th 1997 which was followed by a 1-1 home draw with Forfar on the 22nd. Thank you Charles & Ian. I knew it was close. Top keeper & top bloke too. Hopfully we can get him signed up for next season soon.
  9. Ryan is another hero from recent weeks & we should get him signed up on a new contract ASAP! 5 clean sheets in a row now but I was wondering what is our record for the most clean sheets in a row is & what the longest number of minutes without conceding a goal is? Can anyone help? Thanks.
  10. Think it is a combination of a few things namely - Butcher lost his Scotland job Extended run in the team for Rooney Players taking time to gel, just look at the link up play betweem Foran, Hayes, Rooney now compared to the season start. Settled formation that plays to our better players strengths. Russel Duncan - cutting out the silly mistakes & showing us how good he really is. Tokely moved to Centre Back has been good for him & Granty Butcher & Mo signing new contracts has boosted confidence We are the form team in the league now & with only 7 games to go it's ours to win!!
  11. Esson Proctor Tokely Munro Golly Cox Duncan Hayes Foran Eagle Rooney This is my thoughts. System has worked so well for last 12 games so it wont change. Look what happened 1st half on Sat when we tried something different & this is not the time in the season to try another formation. Eagle has played his way into the starting line up after Sat though also wouldnt be surprised if he stuck with Odhiambo instead of Eagle. TB has form for saying there will be changes then sticks with previous so other than Foran in for Eric he will stick with the team that started the 2nd half on Sat.
  12. Wont be McCall as an ex Arab. Bernie Winters wants a bigger job, probably in England, so why take another step back? Whoever it is will need time so I see this as good news & further disruption to the team that will take weeks to settle down. By that time they will be out of it & we will be sitting at the top of the league!
  13. Love this. We should stick with the stripes & I doubt we will see better than this. Belter!!
  14. Agree with all said before. Great result should have been out of sight long before the 2nd goal. Tuffey was excellent today & is a class keeper. He saved his side today & was easily MOM. Plus points for me today, Hayes, our MOM & unlucky not to get pen in 1st half. Looked a stone waller for me. Rooney, ran so much more than previous & showed big baws to step up for the 2nd pen especially when Tuffey was winding him up. Centre defence pair looked solid as ever & if Sanchez would take a shot from outside the box instead of always looking for the pass then he would score more often. Disappointing points - grumpy car park steward was lucky not to get lamped for swearing in front of the kids, Cox just doesnt doesnt do it for me (Duncan is better) & RB is Proctors best position. Lionel was poor & looks nervous again. Overall delighted with how the team kept going to the end. I do believe in the phrase that things even themselves out over a season & perhaps we are now going to get a few breaks at home that we were not getting earlier in the season. Both were stick on pens for me but I am ever so slightly biased!!! Well done lads. Our title charge has started!!
  15. BBC have the line ups. Left back? Maybe 3-5-2? Inverness CT 01 Esson 02 Tokely 03 Bulvitis 04 Munro 05 Proctor 06 Cox 07 Sanchez 08 Duncan 09 Foran 10 Rooney 11 Hayes Substitutes 19 Allison, 15 Stratford, 14 Imrie, 16 Eagle, 12 Odhiambo
