  1. 7000 is 7000 and everyone who has bought a ticket should be proud but for a cup final it's pretty disappointing if we are all being honest

Remember County took 17k to their cup final which is more than double what we are taking

I honestly thought we could have mustered 10k but unless there is some late activity this sadly does not look like being achievable

When you consider the amount of incomers that bolster that 7k you do wonder how many actual Invernessians will be in attendance

Anyway it is what it is and 7k will still add to what should be a wonderful day and atmosphere and one I'm looking forward to greatly

    Bring it on

  2. Definitely seems to be a breakdown in communication between the club/caleyjagsforever regarding ticket sales and the fans

Aberdeen seem to have managed to keep their fans informed how ticket sales have gone whereas we get silence

I've got my ticket early doors but it would have been nice to know how ticket sales have been going

  3. ICT do not ‘need‘ County in the same league.

Think you will find they do, it's maybe passed you unnoticed that our average home attendance is dropping each year and it's only games against the likes of County and Celtic that we now see decent turn outs

In this financial climate and the state the Scottish game is in ICT need as much help as they can get because present home crowds can't sustain a top flight club forever

  4. Any idea how many we've sold so far?

Hearing Aberdeen have sold their initial allocation of 37k which is quite remarkable, can see the piggery being turned into a sea of red as they appear to be asking for more tickets

Don't want to be too negative but can't help but think with backing like that they will start on the front foot

  5. I hope they go down tbh. Then MacGregor walks away and they go into administration. Nobody deserves to lose the team they support. So I then hope they are liquidated, form a Newco County, start back in the Highland League and slog it out with the likes of Strathspey Jags and Fort Bill to avoid the bottom placed spot every year. Hello down there ;)

Hypocrisy at its best you claim nobody deserves to lose their team but the formation of ICT created that very scenario, think you should maybe start thinking before you post

Whether you like it or not ICT need County in the same league and County need ICT it would be financially detrimental to both clubs should County be relegated

Any set of fans would want their derby each season only a half wit would think differently

  6. Considering CJT are the fans and are likely to stump up the shortfall as well as subsidise the buses I see no reason why they shouldn't have their logo. I also know that CJT have been looking into getting a flag long before this current idea came to fruition.

As for the Thistle badge........Its a perfect perch for that dumb eagle

Fair enough Alex but then would still be missing the blood sucking leach

  7. Tell me Ma, me Ma - to put the champagne on ice - we're going to Parkhead twice - tell me Ma, me Ma.

Well it's certainly better than yer alleged Irish folk song you and all your mates have been downloading in the last few weeks to get it in the charts

  8. 12:30 again on a sunday and again because of the rugby.  Do these people in Glasgow never learn? Someone needs a serious word with them, and I've got every sympathy with united fans. Edited to add it's even worse than our fiasco because its an England game they have scheduled for 3pm!

Lol we all know why you sympathise with them, if we are being honest early kick offs and as a result travelling issues affects the majority of top teams in this country due to live TV

No one team is being singled out although it might feel like that sometimes

  9. I don't entertain this lack of buses rubbish, if the demand is there buses from all around Scotland can be called on if needed

Any smaller club that reaches a final would have to go to more than one bus company and would have to look a lot further than their local outfit

Funny how Inverness Reds have managed to source a number of buses going by their website

  10. Why include the CJT and CTO logo's? They are not football clubs! The red and blue background with the ICT badge looks just fine without any other blurb.

Well said, the only way Caleyjagsforever should have their logo emblazoned on the flag is if it had been their idea and they were paying for it themselves

The sight of the thistle badge is offensive enough alone without any extra add ons

  12. Hopefully they keep ICTChris off these trains.

Why? Is he known to the BTP as well!!!

It would be great if there was a football special going to the final, going back many years football specials were common and were my favourite mode of transport and it added to a great day out

Sadly these days though they would probably be dry trains due to the minority of bams who spoil it for everyone

  13. Surely a bit more detail on the type/design of flag is required before folk can decide whether to donate or not!!

12th man I'm not for one minute indicating you would purchase a massive Union Jack with ICT on it but a section of our support seem to let's say favour it to other designs
