I would simply ask him- 'Are you a fking idiot or what?'
That is all.

Firstly I never said I had a lot of money, quite the opposite & I never said I was better than any fan.
Anyone reading my post should have enough intelligence to see that I am clearing playing 'devil's advocate' by simply asking the question.
People who have stated that they are giving the club more money should also take into account the large payments from TV, Sky ESPN etc & the SPL, small clubs do not survive on home gate money only.
People should ask why we play so much better away from home ?
The abuse Eric Odihiambo gets from our home fans is appalling. - I did not notice any ICT fans giving him abuse when he scored in the 81st minute at Ibrox on 30th Oct last year.
If some people here think that being a fan consists of supporting the club financially by only going to home games then you keep believing your own truth.
I happen to think it means a bit more than that, for example travelling to Parkhead for a midweek evening game and still singing after Celtic have scored their 6th goal, knowing that you won't be home until 2:30 am and still having to get up at 6:00 am to go to work.
Also I am in debt following ICT, I am still paying for some of last years tickets.
My main point is; If you do have the time and some money or credit available and a spare day and you still do not want to support your team away from home: why ?
We need more fans at away games, If I have made even one person consider going to an away game for the first time then I would be happy.
As a season ticket holder along with the missus we make all the home games, we went to a gd number of away games when we were in the 1st Div as it was a bit more affordable. I would love to go to away games now that we are back in the SPL. However wee things like our mortgage and saving for the arrival of our wee one in March get in the way. We used to mostly make only away games cos we lived in Weegieland, but now we live back in Sneck things are different. In a nutshell everyone's curcumstances are different and people should not be judged on what games they attend. Conversely I'm sure there are those out there who would love to buy a season ticket but cannot afford it, work on Saturdays etc, so just make some home games, does this make them any 'less' of a supporter?
IMO the only supporters that are irratating are those who seem to perversly take great glee in the team playing badly and take every opportunity to criticise or shout abuse at the players/management.
NIgel if you would like to leave your bank account detals I (and others I'm sure) would be more than happy to take out a reasonable amount so we could follow ICT on the road.
Now stop with the

Firstly I never said I had a lot of money, quite the opposite - I never said u had plenty money, I was just trying to get you to realise that everyones situation is different.
I never said I was better than any fan / Anyone reading my post should have enough intelligence to see that I am clearing playing 'devil's advocate' by simply asking the question. - If you want to play devil's edvocate then be prepared for some people to disagree. However your OP was not such a question, it implied, in my view that supporters who travel (such as yourself) are more loyal. It also seemed to imply that people who did not travel were some kind of away game refusniks, which again, in my experience is not the case.
Also I am in debt following ICT, I am still paying for some of last years tickets - OK, thats your choice, personally I would not put myself in debt to watch Football as much as I love it I have other more pressing financial commitments.
My main point is; If you do have the time and some money or credit available and a spare day and you still do not want to support your team away from home: why ? - That's perhaps a more sensible (devils advocate) question as at least it's not implying that one set of fans are more 'loyal' than another.

Only unsavoury incident I've experienced at TCS was dropping a pie by accident.
An expensive accident TSNY!

Or is he just a completely inadequate attention seeking t**t who thinks he hasn't had enough publicity of late?
Though long and hard about replying to this statement but thought better of it
This thread should be closed as its nothing but speculation
One thing i will say though is that all clubs have a minority of imbeciles who spoil it for everyone else, i'm not saying for one minute that this incident happened but Section G have a history of being involved in unsavoury incidents
dougal
Sorry if this is a bit
. Pardon my ignorance but as someone who has only been frequenting TCS (and sitting in Section F) for a couple of seasons, what specifically are you referring to?

If it sounds like bulls**t and looks like bulls**t, then it's probably bulls**t. Never heard of him in my life but he sounds like a total be**end!

Not sure why the SPL could not wait until around Friday morning to make a decision on a game by game basis and after contacting the clubs/police to find out what local conditions are like, thus avoiding travel for the fans if indeed it is dangerous. The forcasts for Saturday would also be more accurate.
We got a delivery today from Aberdeen although it was a little late.

Soft southern barstewards....was no hint of games being called off last weekend when the ICT fans had a 12 hour round trip to Glasgow in the snow.
Agree, apparenty ALL schools were closed in Glasgow today!

My question is simple;
I feel we are excluding hundreds if not thousands of potential fans worldwide by not enabling them to view each thread and see what we are all about
Your words not mine.
So Dougal if I'm following your logic the fact that P&B does not require registration to read brings 'thousands' of new people around the word to follow and become enlightened in Scottish football where before they would not have been interested? They would otherwise be tempted elswhere?
It's hardly rocket science!!!!
I'm not saying thousands would necessary join up to P&B but that site certainly seems more welcoming than CTO
P&B and all other SPL clubs forums gives the lurker the option to read on while CTO doesn't unless they register which IMO puts the majority off
It certainly doesn't help enticing new fans
dougal
So now you are not saying thousands, perhaps your hyperbole was lost on me.
P&B is more welcoming than CTO?
Personally I think if you are going to be getting worked up about ICT websites you are focussing on the wrong one.

Great win and an entertaining game to boot. More home games like that please fellas!
I just wish the guy over and behind from me who sits in section G would stop getting on the players backs for every wee mistake it really gets tiresome.

It's hardly excluding folk, it takes like 2 minutes. If that puts someone off then then they couldn't have been genuinely interested in the first place. It probably helps reduce the number of people who might just pop online to post crap also.
It would be like saying that the online shop Amazon is losing shoppers because you have to set up an account to buy stuff.

I'm from section G and I have posted several times, I don't think many of the guys at the back use this forum anymore, mainly due to ridiculous wind up threads like this. Whatever happened to slap on the wrist don't do it again, instead we have multi-paragraphed rants and childish bickering between adults?! And us young 'uns are supposed to be the ones acting like kids?
Sorry to get involved again, you guys really do improve the atmosphere as far as I am concerned and are a welcome part of the crowd, but how many slaps do you need on the wrist? There have been bans handed out to some of you, some of your number have ended up in court (wrongly but the sheriff did state that he had no doubt sectarian songs were sung that day ) I would have thought that this would be warning enough that you are pushing it. Recently your behaviour has been without fault, until the Dougie Imrie stuff, can you guys not just toe the line all the time?
It would be a wonderful world if everyone could behave impeccably all the time, having taught children and worked as a youth worker trust me when I say this would be great. However this is the real word in the heat of the moment people (adults and children included) can do and say silly things. I presume you have a child you take to the games as you sit in the family section, do they not ever misbehave even if it is out of character (1% of the time) but going on and on about it seems like an over-reaction to me. The songs were naughty lets move on and get behind the team together - cuddles all round!

My missus saw Hayes in town this afternoon and noticed he was on crutches. Hopefully just a precaution.
