  1. For the current club management to say they are unaware of any money changing hands would suggest that no such transactions ever reached the official accounts. If they had, Mr Savage's forensic audit would surely have revealed them. If Carlisle believes that money did change hands, then where is it?
  2. It's a fantastic kit that deserves to sell very well! Delighted for the club, and it's a strip we can be proud of. I wouldn't have been opposed to this year's home strip being a variation of this either. Don't get me wrong, I love the stripes and it's part of our identity, but this season's home top looks like two rival designers were forced to share a canvas and refused to compromise — it's less of a strip and more of a strip search for the designer's common sense!
  3. The title is click bait, and behind it is a nothing article. The content makes clear that Ketan is no longer involved in any discussions whatsoever. He is simply taking to the press hoping somebody on the board may be listening as he paints himself as the investor with the city and the club (that, I read, he couldn’t find on Google?) at his heart. Savage seemed already skeptical of him previous to this week’s news, but after yesterday’s stunt on LinkedIn - prompting Savage to set the record straight in the press - I imagine he will be even less enamoured with Ketan than he was previously. Own goal, much?
  4. Pretty weird if he wants to buy a football club and win over support, to then openly put himself in a position where he is interpreted (even if only briefly, during a day of confusion) as being responsible for involvement in taking out the people’s champion (and he must have known that is how it would come across to readers). Not the best of PR moves. Hopefully Mr Makwana is now reading the room. Savage’s transparency and common sense statements, without need for flowery embellishment, are incredibly refreshing, and even with the difficult road ahead there is a sudden sense of optimism that there hasn’t been in years.
  5. It does seem strange though that Ketan would post “working on it” at the same time as attaching a screen grab of Alan Savage’s directorship being terminated. Given his knowledge of PR etc he must have known how it would be interpreted during yesterday’s confusion. Whether intentional or not, he gave many people the impression that he was involved in removing/repelling Savage from office. All even weirder now that we know the reality, in that it was a mistake by Savage’s lawyer. So what was Ketan’s intention by his post yesterday?
