  1. What frustrates me most, is that there is not a huge deal of difference in all the Champioship teams in terms of player quality. Each team ( as results have shown) can beat each other on any given day. Our players are no better or worse than the rest of the league. Where I think we continue to become undone, is our set up and tactics. Today and last week were a good example. Played better and conspire to lose. I don’t see any management injection that changes in response to the game to grind out a win. All I see is stick with the same pedestrian tactics and hope for the best. All players can do better (some more than others) but likely they are only following a set of instructions and set prices from training. I think it’s the training and tactics that need to change !!!!!!! What do they see that we can’t ????? And vice versa ?????

  2. Can I just say....... Tom Walsh was excellent again today. Turning into a very influential player. Not only in scoring the goal, but creating and setting up. Also good to see Carl Tremarco back in, his body was on the line a few times. As for the rest........ ?????? Where were you ??????

  3. Down to 6th in the league!!!!! If nothing much changes.... I only see us slipping further down. The current squad, set up, tactics are just not working and it’s no surprise we are out of the playoff places. I think today’s attendance was 2250 or there abouts ( hard to hear on the rubbish speakers) but how many would re-new a season ticket based on this seasons performance so far ??? I keep trying to remain positive, but without something significant changing, more of that dire performance like today is likely. Where is last weeks team attitude !!!!!!!

I really don't know how we lost that.

We recovered from going behind, and were the better team for the last hour.

I can't fault the players for effort, and we came very close a couple of times, particularly through Walsh and McCart.

I thought Walsh had an excellent game, closely followed by Polworth, Rooney and McCart, but all 11 played their part in what easily could have been a win.

I don't agree about the substitutions. We were well on top, so not changing it was the right thing. That changed with the County goal.

County fans I spoke to afterwards couldn't believe their luck.

A disappointing end, but if we can maintain that effort and keep trying to play forward quickly, there is no reason why we cannot at least cement fourth place. Next week's game could be pivotal as it can let us pull clear a bit.

I thought the ref lost control a bit when the smaller bust up took place in the first half between Donaldson and Lindsay, so no real surprise if all kicked off late on. Until I saw the photo above, I'd no idea Roooney was involved, but as half the players were, perhaps surprising there were only two reds.

They scored 1 goal more than us !!

I don't think it is finishing. It's the central attacking midfielder. ICT is converting midfielders to forwards. But that system works best when you have a forward that can drop back, like Foran or Sanchez in the past. David Platter was terrific at it as he was a converted attacker. Get someone behind White and the goals will go up.

The aim of football is to score at least one or more goals than your opponents!!!!! It is the final part ( scoring) that has been and continues to be our issue. Lots of effort and enthusiasm from defence to midfield will not win games........ scoring ...... regardless of how, creates results ?

  6. We remain 4th , but the gap to the top increases and the teams behind close in. No critisisim in the effort from ICT today, plenty of pressure & shots, but like the season so far, lack of clinical finishing!!!! Well done to the team today, but not for the first time this season, not good enough ?
