  1. I would chuck those stats in the bin tbh. No offence meant but Rangers and underperforming bigger clubs have given a false reading over the last few seasons maybe it would be far lower otherwise.

Every game now is a give it your all match.

Hopefully that will bring a good few points our way.

Can we all just settle down now please. Once again one good performance and a point and the wolves have been called off. How many times have we seen this? Richie is here to stay......there are no alternatives. The players are more than good enough. The manager will learn. We, the supporters, are as much a factor in shaping the rest of the season. So, enough of polls .........let us all unite and sing lustily from the terraces and carry our great wee club over the line.

I did briefly misread the above words and assumed we had to sing with in a Marilyn Munro, happy birthday to you stylee and wondered if that would actually help the players, lol.

Sexily sing he scores when he wants !

  3. A good gutsy performance also a little surprised to be going in at half time 2 goals down but Dundee did have a strong wind assisting them.

McCart looks a little green but its his first game, wandered a little out of position and plays the safer short pass, yet still kicks an inch perfect ball over to the line for a throw in when the ball was to be replaced. If he can pick a player or even a spot on the pitch, he will be a real asset on the counter attack with a bit more belief.

2-0 down and did the heads go down?  Not at all,  whats the difference?  maybe, a Foran pep talk or even the fact that the only way of scoring a goal before was a long ball to Doumboya and now we have 2 very capable strikers with an abundance of options for getting the ball up the park.

The boys battled hard and fought well

Over all a very gutsy performance, with skill, vision and belief coming to the fore.

I think I had concerns over survival after Hamilton but if we keep battling for points in every game from now on and we still have to, then were not going down.

Mulrainey and Polly need to step up a gear if they want to get into that 1st 11 though.

With fresh legs Polly needs to be the first one to the ball and follow through if need be instead of hesitating and backing off,  regarding Jakes enthusiasm its a team game so no need to try and take out Ross Draper when going for the ball.

Here is a link to the story on the BBC

Sad to say that when someone is daft enough to post video online it is an easy one for the police to follow up and youngsters end up with a criminal conviction.

Regardless of posting it online, there's plenty of CCTV around and probably a few likely candidates from previous flare ups at matches.

I would imagine this is the point where CTO put a ban on talking about it.

  5. I haven't voted, results are just as good as a poll.

This season I haven't been overly concerned, or should really say worried, regarding the points on the board, until now. The points tally to date is irrelevant if another 6 teams are mediocre then they will never be far away, it's just the other teams are all beating each other and creeping up the table.

It really is time for action on Saturday not kamikaze but a well thought well planned gutsy performance.

    Get the fans on side.

I want to see the Richie who scores goals with his face, I want to see the Richie who shouts his mouth of on the pitch, I want to see the Richie who I thought was going to get sent off for grabbing Hayes by the throat for not putting enough effort in against Dunfermline. Its time for that guy to make an appearance.

As for the players if we go down the club can't afford your wages next season.

Inverness is a horrible place to come.

    That long slow awful A9.

    That exposed cold miserable stadium.

Worst of all our awful mouthy fans, let's give Dundee as hard a time as we can and let Foran get on with his job of getting stuck into his players.

A passionate expressive match will go a long way to calm things down.

But we don't want to settle for that, we go again the following week and every week from now on.

    Just get stuck in.

  6. I feel Richie puts his heart and soul into the job, loves the area and wants to see his kids grow up here.

I well imagine a central belt Manager on a temporary assignment "up north" until something better comes along will be a lot more dead pan when it comes to interviews and more detached.

Heres hoping we turn a corner very soon, the players get over this bug that's doing the rounds and other players get more game time under their belts.

The football has been great to watch but it's points on the board that are required.

Let's see what the Dundee game brings.

  7. Just have faith in your ability and your fellow players.

Be creative and help a team mates creativity.

Have a game of non contact Rugby for training as something different. Team work, making space, creativity, influencing the movement of the opposition, instigating the next move.

Make scoring a goal the norm, it's not a big deal, don't think about it just put it in the net, think of the game for 90 mins and think about the points when the final whistle blows.

Wait a minute! Is there not miles of blue water between what manager and the clubs interviewer are saying between them - "fantastic point", "hertened by that display" and so on - and what nearly everbody on here is saying? They are so diffrent that surely somebody has got to be very wrong.

We had good spells in the match but also poor spells, at one stage we seemed to be sitting really deep as if we were defending an imaginary lead. We played a patient game and were threatening on the counter attack but didn't take our chances. However we did snuff out the majority of Thistles advanced whereas in the past this would have ended with a heavy defeat so it's something to build on.

Had Dorans attempt on goal gone in near the end I imagine the posts would be a bit different.

Doran had picked up 6 votes so far, including mine, yes his shot went wide but hes still finding the spaces and getting in the right positions to take the shot, he probably just needs to put a bit more venom in the strike but keep trying all the same.
