  1. I heard that there were a few Ross fans that came down to the game. Could they have been the instigators? Bit of sour grapes perhaps?
  2. What a season! From -5 to champions. Top work boys!!! I'm off to get pissshed!!!
  3. We never do things the easy way! C'mon boys!!!
  4. Anyone got a defib? I can't cope with this.
  5. 5029 in the stadium. Where have they all been all season? Let's hope they will be back next season. On a much happier note - County are down!!! 🤣
  6. We are going up ... we are going up! I can almost taste it. Stenny at home to an inform Alloa next week and us away at an out of form East Fife. If we win and Stenny win - we go up! All we need to do is win next week! Apologies ... I'm that excited, a little bit of wee came out!
  7. Stenny lost 2-0. Hang on boys and it's in our hands next week away down in Fife.
  8. I don't care if the grass is wet. The mood I was in when I went out, I would have got down on my knees and chewed the grass short myself! I had a tidy of the shed instead - it felt good to throw some crap around for a bit!
  9. Utter *****. I'm off to mow the grass. Sorry Kells but you got things horribly wrong today. Alonge was lost, Sol did nothing, Those are the two who should have been off at half-time. Takes over an hour to make a change at 2-1. Spoonie would have been on earlier if it were me. We needed that older head to boss things out the middle of the park. Bavs should have been on from the start not Alonge. 4-1 down with 3 of their goals being gifts. If we turn up like that on Saturday then the playoffs is as good as it gets. You need to get a grip Kells ... and fast!
  10. I think it's a bit too soon for that. Although, I would say looking at our performances it is certainly looking likely that we could achieve a mid-table finish. That's as long as Sole can keep himself on the pitch ... that is. What was he thinking? You don't go throwing your head about 2-1 up against a team from the division above with 5 minutes left to play.
  11. Great result. 5 points clear with a game in hand - hopefully 8 points clear by Christmas. And the icing on the cake a small matter of Raith using County for target practise. It's a shame they can't hang on in the Championship when we come back up for the Highland derby but at least superiority will be back where it should be in the Highlands.
  12. Accies are doomed. I read the interview in the Record and all Zengin kept doing was blame the SFA for some "conspiracy" against them. They broke the rules on multiple occasions but somehow it's the SFA's fault. I thought we had it bad with Coco and his performing monkey but Jeezo ... they haven't got a hope with those two chancers involved. What's sad is the club was almost bought by a group of Nigerian businessmen with money from oil. The two clowns wrecked the deal and then found they haven't got the funds to keep the club going. I'm afraid Accies are not long for this world. The SFA will hammer them. Sad to see - how many clubs have we seen almost go to the wall due to total mismanagement? I can sympathise with the Accies supporters - we almost went that way. I feel for Rankin who has done a tremendous job with such limited resources. We just have to keep concentrating on getting the results and getting out of the league.
  13. Ah, the opinionated inaccuracies of the influencer. Journalists they are not. i'm afraid I had to give that video a thumbs down ... it was awful. We need to get Sam from Footy Adventures up to see how things are progressing.
  14. Concussion substitutions are not counted as subs.
  15. My story is simple. Born in Lewiston. Reached 16 and struggled to find work other than family farming which didn't really appeal. I spent a year learning the noble art of stone walling on a YTS (Do you remember those?). On day release at college, I walked past the army recruitment office and found myself applying for the Queen's shilling - all these years later, I'm still taking the shilling. I've been all over the world but always found time to take in games, home and away, sometimes involving 1000 mile round trips. My dad used to take me to watch Caley at Telford Street until the merger then it was a natural progression to carrying on with ICT. My claim to fame is during my final year of my degree, I had to undertake a sports psychology study of the first team - including the likes of Bobby Mann, Charlie Christie, Barry Wilson etc. I scored a first for my project - and that was my love for the club cemented. A proper family club that I am glad to see has regained the ethos that made the club great in the first place - long may it continue!
  16. I can't help but celebrate that never going through. We would have been gone in a month. It's interesting to see that Voldemort (Gardener) is now involved with Seventy 7 Ventures. He should be quite at home - one full of BS with another.
  17. You're doing a great job with what you have. Thank you for your efforts. Most of us appreciate it. Sadly, there is always one!
  18. this aged well lol
  19. Get a win next week and then our game in hand and hope some of the results start to go our way and we could be knocking on 5th. I'll take 5th happily now after all we have been through but I would love 4th even more!!!
  20. 4 points behind Annan with a game in hand. Get a win on Tuesday, and to be fair we are queens bogey team, and it's down to one point. 9 points clear of Dumbarton. at the rate we are going and gathering points we could be pushing playoffs by the end of the season (I can but dream!)
  21. 3-0 Billy from the spot! Get in!!!
  22. The only thing that went in our favour was that Annan lost too. January is going to be critical for our season as we have our game in hand against Queens, and we also play Dumbarton and Annan - all 3 are must win games.
  23. All turned to *****! 2-0 down already. How is it we can beat teams at the top but get one mid table and we just roll over.
  24. Key thing for us is that Annan lost so we have closed the gap back to 8 points with a game in hand. Dumbarton won so we needed this win to keep the gap to 6 points. My money is on Annan for the drop.
  25. We have one or two that are capable. Look at the young lads like Mackinnon and Bray - once they find their feet I think we will see plenty from them. MacKinnon is never afraid to have a go. Both were overlooked by Ferguson but Kels has them playing some good attacking stuff. Apart from last weekend it has all been good since Kels took over (not counting the first game as he had 2 days with the boys). It'll come.
