  1. Very sad way to lose that way. Great trip and we did silence the red fans for much of the match. Thought tactics were all wrong (and not just this match) Has anybody got the win/lose/draw stat.s for Yogi? Service to Billy was not there, Draper was ineffective, running after the game. Shinnie was the best on the pitch. Doran improved things for us, just wish Draper had made way. Rooney celebrated with the Don.s but came back to applaud the Caley fans - thought that was a good touch. I left at that point - just didn't want to be there - sorry to anyone who thought I left too early. I thought John Hughes' shoes were as ugly as WIllo Flood.
  2. I have tried not to blame Hughes but the honeymoon is over. Poor formation. Foran was not match fit at county and too slow to play in the forward position. Into the void that was midfield we had nothing. I missed the first red but the second was red all the way - you just can't do that in the modern game. Any consolation? Graeme Shinnie looked like he cared, and was at the heart of our defense and our attack. Williams, Polworth and Christie looked fresh and up for it. Esson to play on Wednesday?
  3. Well, this is a surprise. Thanks to Duncan - good job, honest and knew what he wanted. Thanks to Butcher - he leaves us in good shape (We'll forget the manner of your leaving at some point) Welcome John, you have inherited a good set up - I hope to hear your plans very soon . Caley is playing football that is good to watch - hope that continues.
  4. Hartley would be a fine choice. Can't rule out Vinnie Jones, looking to cut down on the sun exposure might fancy the move north?
  5. Tremarco was man of the match. Saw him play at the clach where he couldn't kick a ball, but clearly he has class. Regardless of the result, I thought caley were good to watch. Just wish the done had held on for the draw. Looking upwards, no threat from below based on recent form.
  6. Ian Holloway is the logical successor to Big Tel. Paul Hartley as number 2. Shiels, Nicholl, Burley or Levein and I am off to the Clach. Please don't ruin what has been started.
