  1. Loved it gringo.

Great chat and good honesty from charlie.

Think the feedback from ryan and liam p really emphasis the great tactical and technique progression of the youth players but highlights the core fitness coaching that needs greater focus.

I think charlie is a little rose tinted when viewing John Hughes who didn't have a great acquisition record but a fab coaching one.

Listened to this and Yogis interview with Ian Auld back to back and found them both very interesting.

Would love one with Robbo as his insights and commentary would be great . But i dont know if he would do one with you guys while still manager.

Could Alan Simpson ask the questions?.....🤣🤣

  2. I think the thing everyone is missing is limiting regional travel could be a key strategy of phase 3 and 4. With high regional covid variations this could protect our communities

So we may be allowed some crowds at ross and inverness but no travellers from grampian or central?

This would be a more successful contain than smaller crowds but unlimited travel.

I may be allowed to watch elgin not caley.

Inverness rangers fans might be allowed to visit caley stadium but not travel to ibrox.

We all need to think differently, reduce travel and reduce contact.

Or wait for a virus with no time limit to expire.

Over 4k excess deaths in scotland  and we have to continue to be very safe.

  3. Really interesting podcast from moneyball author Micheal Lewis about referees and the way the more important clubs and players feel they can be above the rules. Also shows how abuse of referees has increased with some thoughts why.

Rage at referees is all the rage in professional sports. Michael Lewis visits a replay center that’s trying to do the impossible: adjudicate fairness. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  4. Great podcast guys.

    Chairman came across well.

Disappointed you didn't highlight more of the kids who could benefit next year from exposure to the team.

They won youth competitions how many can step up if given the chance and win a league. Or still too soon?

A new hero for the clappers the previously unknown mr gardiner who's wee deal with Dundee has now collapsed! Dunno what to make of him hero or self serving ego who by the look of things has been in more clubs than Katie price?

Less clubs than miles story and that doesnt stop your adoration?

  6. Could you get the daily record supporter battering Scott Gardiner in as a special one time only guest?

Pretty much what I was about to post. Limit home games solely to ST Holders and any remaining seats not filled aren't given back to home fans who aren't holders, but are for the away support, this really isn't the time for Groundhopping, and has thrown a spanner into the works as I was hoping to finish up the championship this season.

How many Season Tickets Holders are there that actively attend week in week out?

A ballot seems the fair way to do it, but then again, it screws over the most loyal supporters when they lose out to Gary from Skye who has an ST for some reason, and has only attended two home games. (Sorry if there is a Gary from Skye on this forum, not a deliberate attack).

I make about 6 games a season but support my team by paying every year.

I pay three times as much per game.

This calum from moray feels more of a fan for that reason.

    Not something I would like.

It's hard enough for local youth players to get a chance as it is without them being shoved aside to make way for some rich club from the south out to improve their own stable.

Think of it the other way around.

A link to a club like chelsea might allow some of our players to learn grow or maybe even experience some of that setup.

Toshney has impressed since he joined us, and I don't think McHattie is doing that bad either...not sure what cover we have for the full backs though!

Is this not where Fyffe , cameron harper etc come in?

  10. I agree with Caleyd shocker.

    Its not about the money.

Are the players better than when we bought them.

    Yes

Is the team better than sum of parts.

    Yed

Could we on our best day with our best team win the playoffs.

    Yes.

Do we have messi ronaldo and pele up front so that Alan can complain Storey would be better?

    No

We are what we are. Dissappointed to lose to atavs. Happy to have had a good game against hibs.

  11. Pathetic attacks on the team and manager on here.

Tactics may or may not have been correct. We were on top before the first goal for quite a period and if Tom Walshs strike had gone in it would have been a very different game.

To sit deep against ( Scottish International) passers like Scott Allen giving them time on the ball like he got in the second half after the sending off would have been catastrophic imho.

Our forwards troubled the hibs defence , we scored 2 goals and could have scored 4 but for some superb goalkeeping from marciano.

Our defence played to their level with some great last minute tackles from brad mackay Rooney ,and tremarco. Mchattie gave away a silly penalty and showed some inexperience but thats who we are.

A team of developing players getting better under robbie rather than worse under Foran.

Midfield were outclassed by a great hibs side coached by jack ross who made the most of their forwards amazing movement.

    Ridgers was a rock.

Hibs are the form side in the premier league since Jack Ross took over moving from one point of the bottom to sixth place and too hear the same tired refrain of its all Robbos fault is disappointing to say the least.

I think yesterdays game and the match against other premier league teams this season shows that even after losing Mcart and Coll we can challenge the premier league teams in the playoffs especially if we have our best team on the pitch.

We missed Sean Welsh yesterday but I see hope not despair that promotion is possible. So support the team rather than attack the people working to that success.

  12. I watched the game and thought we played really well.

Dundee united were under the cosh for long spells in the second half but Shankland is a level above this league and that showed.

Our midfield was excellent even without welsh and there is real competition for positions.

But I have to call out Brad Mackay and Kevin Mchattie. We sold our two best centre backs in December but during that game they performed better against united than our two departed stars have in over a year.

Have we traded (or trained) up as we did not miss Mcart or Coll yesterday.

Superb from both of them and real hope for rest of the season with Toshneys team of the week performance in the cup.

Great management by Robbo to create and coach that depth of resources on his budget.

  13. For the sake of the competition and our players careers i hope we win this.

Its so important young players playing competitive football in championship progress better than kids held in reserve at a big club for the first 5 years of their career.
