Pressreader makes it easier to read and an even scarier story : https://www.pressreader.com/uk/scottish-daily-mail/20190307/283424897907476 . If true, this woman eclipses Mike Smith with consummate ease in terms of potential damage done to our club.

If indeed true then good on the directors who rejected that ultimatum and good riddance ! This is another reason why we should not have a CEO meddling in football affairs. what does a CEO (any CEO we have had) know about the footballing side of the business. Nothing.

I would rather have a Director of Football and a Director of Business on the board who managers responsible for each part of the club report to. Let them do their jobs on a day-to-day basis with governance in place to make sure everything is fine. Robbo and the Academy head would report to the Director of Football and whoever is the commercial and stadium managers would report to a Director of Business ... Looking at who we have lost, that's quite a number of good people and it seems she only fell when trying to oust yet another good person with a long history at the club in a part of the business she has no f***ing clue about.  The more I re-read that article, the angrier I become at both her and the method by which she was installed in her position !

Lost a lot of good people.

Delivering much more than their job role in a small scottish club.

Is the true cost the extra effort and the extra mile all of those individuals have gone to in the past vs the distance they were being pulled back by yvonne.

Its the extra steps people take  that allows the team to perform in a positive atmosphere on the pitch and releases funds back to the club instead of employing more contactors or consultants.

    The richie foran of ceos?

I wish her and ritchie all the best. But feel this should be a positive change.

Inverness is not in disarray we have a good team of players all of whom are improving . We are on a positive trajectory even in a financially tight position.

Well done robbo and the team. Lets get it done today.

Liam Polworth can do nothing to alter this situation and if it was me, I’d make him captain for the game on Tuesday night, identify the people leading Saturday’s chants (it’s not difficult) and change it.  The only people who can alter things in the stands, however, are the supporters; challenge the abusive ones, temper the criticism and maximise the encouragement. It’s called being a fan.

    So agree with this.

Make him captain for the day.

Then let's get a positive song for Liam. We can drown them out if we care to actually sing in the main stand.

  3. Sorry as per last year home support targetting players is atrocious.

We had the iain vigurs and polworth threads last year and thought we had lost the boo boys.

I try to always be positive and if i wanted to support a winning team i would be with a bigger club..

So get behind or get out the way.  Things will not be perfect but we make them play worse not better.

  4. Sounds more Iike a midfield issue to me more than just defenders.

This might be the result that makes our season one way or another.

The hard technical lessons and attitude to recover will make or break this talented team.

  5. Its interesting that mccart will be our smallest central defender.

I have a sneaky suspicion that some of the players we have signed will not be playing in their core positions. I even think the formation will be very interesting.

Donaldson in midfield as a libero? Mcart in midfield?

    Two wing backs.

    4 2 3 1 again?

Really interesting start to season  i think.

The club can't afford to pay players off otherwise the likes of OFW and Raven would have been gone long ago.

The ball may well be in Warrens court but only after we've very publicly made it clear we really don't want him to be here anymore. Not exactly a great way to treat a long serving player.

    I  dont agree .

This is not a lose lose situation only a potential win win or stay same .

Gary can potentially be better off never worse so positive for him.

Club may be financially better off but lose a great player or keep a good leader and coach for the defenders for a year.

If you want to help Gary what can you do about it.

Can you help  push for  a testimonial or does club  lose money on that? Can we have testemonial events etc . Sponsor gary as a player.

Thats what we could do to positively reward Gary at a fan level.

Rather than criticise the club - organise, support and voice positives we can aim for?

Or is to easy to criticise the club rather than be the club?

    Signed

    Up the board

    Up the happy clappers
