Why did Robertson play the same eleven and same tactics as last week?  when by his own admission it was our worst performance? , And why can't we show the same urgency from the start of the game that we showed in the last ten minutes, we might have created more chances? There was an old movie called 'White men can't jump', and that certainly applies to our Mr White, I have never seen a player who mistimes so many jumps. Calder should be banging on Robbo's door on monday asking why he can't get a start in that team, he mskes a difference every time he comes on.

Absolutely agree with you I dont get why Calder is not starting and White is not mobile he waits for the ball to hopefully land at him and dont get me started on the side passing of the ball no one is prepared to run down the middle with it so that must be the coaching and what they are instructed to do zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ?

  2. Unbeaten Run or not the games are dreadful bar when Subs eventually done granted  earlier today but its the wrong 11 starting every week. Every week Calder comes on and makes a huge difference to the pace of the game but doesn't get a start ?? MOM today Coll he was solid

  3. Why can you not buy a Half Time Ticket on way into North Section? we arrived yesterday at 2.55 went straight to turnstile and never saw anyone selling them. Could they not have someone selling them just inside the Turnstile? Do they want to sell them or not ? Surely a couple of youth boys could be found to sell them.

    Chalmers and Rooney starting again.

    FFS!!

so much for changing things?? After his display last week i thought we might see Rooney benched but naw ☹️ not sure what Calder and McCart have to do to start 2 great players too good for the bench i am really beginning to think Robbo has lost the dressing room and think he is part of our problem this season so far

  5. Saturday has to be a win no more of this missed chances or we will know where we will be come next May i am also thinking getting rid of Raven & Warren is now showing with the lack of experience in the team it's all good & well the board telling Robbo they need rid of players on "big wages" but sometimes you need experience too and thats what we are missing right now

I find it hard to believe that anyone who is a professional footballer can't learn to or want to take penalty. They all kick balls for a living for goodness sake and is it such a hard thing to do?!

To me that just confirms a lack of confidence in the team through either not practising enough or the manager having no faith in you to take it usually strikers want to take them to get their goal tally up cant imagine many of our players will be in double figures come end of season

Surely the manager gives instructions as to who will take penalties and this will include a fall back position for when the allotted penalty taker has gone off. When a kick is awarded that player should immediately step up to take the responsibility.

There should never be a situation where nobody seems to want to take it or where players are arguing over the ball. Any issues with that and the captain on the park should step in and sort it out.

agree that yesterday just highlighted what a shambles it is but your captain on the pitch should have a flipping clue who is penalty taker

  8. Shambles pure & simple and nothing coming from dugout to suggest any difference i turned to the person next to me after 5 minutes and said we are not keeping a clean sheet today but all this missed chances is getting silly now and sorry i love Carl and his passion but  i am not seeing any leadership from him and then the shambles when awarded the second penalty is pathetic the captain should know who the penalty taker will be if  we get one. Only Calder when he came on (thats another story why's he not starting) made a difference. Sorry Robbo enough why yesterday was Welsh taken off when he was decent but Polworth & Chalmers stayed on it seems they play 90 minutes no matter what He is saying on BBC website time for changes eh? he tried that and slated them try looking in the mirror Pal there was no reaction from the dugout the whole game yesterday they are like 3 Stooges .

Contrary to popular belief, I heard Robbo on the radio this morning. The gist of his interview was along these lines.

I have players knocking on my door asking why they are not getting a game. The next time they ask I'll be showing them a video of this game?

I heard the interview on MFR and my first thought was he picked the starting team and also its never good hearing the manager tearing into the players there was 7 different starts from saturday but it was more of the same on the pitch which surely must come down to the way they are coached??

A poor first half overall the team really struggle to transition from midfield into attack without having any players to really drive with the ball and beat a player. I don't think this has ever really been replaced since we lost Shinnie and Watkins.

Walsh and Oakley changed it for us in the second half with Walsh offering more width we found far more space and actually got balls into the box for our center pairing. I thought White should have done better with some of his headers and needs to show more desire to get on the end of the crosses.

In my opinion the 2 strikers starting each game is causing too many problems for us. We need to restore real width to the side, Calder on the left and Walsh on the right with Welsh + Chalmers or Trafford and Polworth in front of the two but he must be CENTRAL not wide in the park. Take your pick on strikers we don't have a 20 a season man and each of the 3 senior ones will all score 1 in every 3 games roughly throughout the season. It's the quality from midfield that will make or break our season.

Had hoped to see Aaron Doran perform well last night but that's another game where I've struggled to remember any telling contribution. Really doesn't look the player he once was and i worry the club have made a big mistake backing him over these years.

Quite agree about Doran we are not seeing the Doran of old it looks like he is scared to take players on he seems to nearly always go backwards with the ball and teams are going to pick up on that

Has John Robertson and ICT given up on post match interviews? I ďont think I have seen any this season. Does anyone know?

I was wondering the same is it down to money? like not sending money on the recording of interview but as paying fans i think we deserve to hear the managers thoughts after a game . One thing for sure its going to be a long season its  very early on but fed up of it already?

  12. £35 spent tonight to get in very steep and it was very poor first half not good second half much better when subs were made Walsh very good i was glad Trafford went off he was terrible and sorry but Polworth didnt have a good game. All this missed opportunities is going to haunt us i fear. Just where do they get such poor Ref's and linesmen ?

Absolutely no plan B from Robertson. Punting endless balls into the box didn't work in the first half, so why persist with it in the second? We needed someone to get behind their back four and cut balls back. We need players willing to take a player on and beat him, we needed pace. Ayr were hitting with pace on the counter attack and looked dangerous at times while we were ponderous at getting the ball forward, nearly every pass was sideways. Please ICT practice penalties and let the best one take them. What should have been an easy three points after the sending off and resulting penalty, turned into a slog, and if you want supporters to return, you need to give them something to return for, not whàt was on offer today.

Spot on today's performance i blame coaches no plan B up against 10 men for 60 minutes and void of any idea to change what was not already working but i bet it will be same starting 11 next game

  14. Oh well that's a reality check but that's the teams who we would be playing IF we make promotion not pointing finger at anyone in particular but defending was shocking today. I was hoping at HT Robbo would put McCart on to try and keep it at 3 nil ☹️

    World exclusive.....

The announcement is to be regarding the food outlets. The Bovril will be properly stirred next season to prevent being left with a globule of it at the bottom of the container when you finish your drink. Personally, I am delighted with this and couldn't have asked for more!!

This made me laugh as twice this season i have bought crisps from the food outlet at Main Stand and on both occasions they were out of date :amazed:

Draw was fair result BUT we should've stepped up as they were there for the taking. Polworth MOM you must be joking!

Sorry don't agree Dunfermline had 2 extra players than us all game they had the Ref & main stand Linesman playing for them too . Gutted for the guys today as i think thats the best they played all season Cracker of a game but i felt it changed when Austin went off he really was causing them problems all game also there was no way stoppage time was 6 minutes

Robbo was giving instructions and encouragement to Seedorf in the second half when he was playing on the standside. He seems unsure of his positioning and maybe lacks a bit of confidence. It was crying out for someone on the right to take on the Brechin defence, just like the again impressive Calder did on the left, maybe this could have been a good run out for Mulraney or Daniel MacKay. Good win, but it could have been a lot more if we had taken our chances.

Agree about the chances that game could/should of been 8 nil but i thought Seedorf at RB was good last night he put some good crosses into the box which Brad at RB is unable to do. Gutted young Daniel didn't get on as i think he would of scored some of those missed opportunities . Hope Coll not badly injured him & Brad in defence works way better but have to mention love him or loath him when Vigurs got subbed the midfield was not nearly as good and Brechin got more of the ball fair play to them they never stopped trying.

  19. Well that's 92 minutes of my life i don't get back what a dreadful game but a cup win is a cup win Pass marks only to Donaldson, Tremarco , Ridgers and young Daniel who i hope the club have the brains to get tied up and eventually make some money out of .....but then perhaps not P.S please do not let Vigurs take any more penalty's

If supporting a team is about winning and glory might I suggest you support one of the top four in the Premier? Real supporters stick with their team through thick and thin and will be at the Cup Final because thats what we do.

where did i say all i am interested in is winning and glory? I said i am fed up like many with the way this season has gone with no signs of it getting better but only worse. Would you keep going to the same restaurant week after week spending your hard earned cash if they kept serving you terrible food? Dont think so

  21. i have completely run out of patience now the club is a shambles from boardroom to team selection. Whats happened to the emergency loan players as promised? there is not one person there who has a clue what to do i have absolutely no enthusiasm to go to cup final as i am expecting a drab, shambolic performance ahead Priority is staying in this league but it wont get any better without the parachute payment next season. If County do get relegated you can be sure Roy will throw the cash at them to get them back up

  22. Could not get down for tickets today but plan to go tomorrow but am really struggling to find enthusiasm for the final with all the recent called off games it feels like closed season i dont think i can remember players names & numbers

  23. Having watched Sportscene last night i think County will avoid the drop by the skin of their teeth its looking more likely Dundee will drop down their defending on saturday was terrible Meekings in particular had an awful game and they did just avoid the drop last year beacause they did what  we did not they changed the manager
