And now we have landed him. This aspect of it makes me smile and has been mentioned already to my Utd supporting friends and colleagues.
If he does well, Dundee United or some other team may come calling, and if he left, it would be a nice compensation package. It does feel like a bit of an unreal scenario landing him, but it will certainly raise the ICT brand in the press and media, and may put some more bums on seats.

You wonder at the economics of this whole situation. What did it cost to get rid of Dodds and Wilson? How much are we paying Duncan Ferguson, and his assistant when he's announced? I would imagine that it might be a tidy sum. So, if all this expenditure that ICT have found over the last few days had been spent on new quality players over the summer, we might not be in this mess now. Just a thought.

Every coach has there ups and downs, and some of the best coaches had some failures in the past, even Sir Alex, so let's hope this is the start of DFs rise up the coaching ladder, and he brings success to ICT this season, and success this season, for me, would be staying in this league first and foremost.

Ah well, you'll always have Lisbon.
Wow! You think that was a meltdown? You've had a sheltered life.

The things some folk will do to sell their horrible orange kit! I will lay money on it now, that the announcement and accompanying picture will be Ferguson holding up the ICT orange kit,(or sevco away kit 2002), with FERGSON, sprawled across the back.

It’s a pretty ballsy and astonishing appointment, for so many reasons!
Of the dozens of applicants, they are undoubtedly appointing the one with the worst managerial record. Richie Foran’s win rate is three times Ferguson’s!He will probably only be here till January, and then take over at Dundee United when the sack Goodwin, and we will be compensated for them poaching our coach, so we will probably be in profit then, but might be detached at the bottom of the league!

I was reading that if it was going to be Imrie, Morton would need to give permission to speak to him, and apparently they haven't been approached.

Happy with Robbie Nielsen or Scott Brown.
Excited to see what tomorrow brings.
Yes, I could see any of those two as the new coach.

Bound to be someone with a rangers background.
Yes, Rangers or Hearts background is my guess.

Or maybe Scot Gardiner thinks he could do a better job, and wants a crack at it himself! Now, would that be saving a wage, or would he want two wages? Because if anybody could be able to do both jobs, it would be him, in his mind!

The incompetent officials need to get on top of this. The standside linesman talked to him about it and then let him away with it for the rest of the match. They needed to do what the referee did to Mcinnes in the Dundee kilmarnock game, and send him off if he doesn't comply.

Although the result is not what we wanted, it was a better all round team performance, and if we can sort out being more ruthless in the final third, we could start to pick up some much needed points. And Christie and Robbo managed to get through the game by watching the play, instead of having their heads buried in a folder or tablet!

The ticket seller was inside the entrance to the north stand where I bought 5 and still did not win it's been a while.
They must be on the ball in the North Stand then, not so in the main stand. I've never won, but I keep plugging away when I can get a ticket, although my son won the autographed football once.

Here’s one for the open meeting.
As it was a nice day for football, I thought I would buy a ticket for todays match. So at 11 o’clock this morning looked up to see if I could buy a ticket online! No link open. So I called the ticket office at the stadium. Got forwarded via a recorded message to another message saying the office was unable to take my call but leave details and phone contact number and ‘they’ll call back’,Now 1:30 and Zip! what ever happened to our club when they don’t even seem interested in selling tickets. No wonder the club is in turmoil! Oh how I miss the old turnstiles!
Last straw for me.

Yes, it's very strange, especially when the club need all the money they can get. To a lesser extent, after we entered the stadium, not a raffle ticket seller in sight, that wouldn't happen at Highland League grounds.

Absolutely gutted by the result. Although United had the better chances, and hit the bar and the post, I thought we might get away with a point, but there was a sting in the tail. I couldn't see what happened for the goal, but I could feel it coming. I thought it was a better performance, but we didn't really create a clear cut chance, we always seemed to pick the wrong pass. We really need to work on our game in the final third, we take too long to get shots off sometimes.
So, it's on to Arbroath now, and we need to pick up points very soon, or this season may become terminal.

It was interesting to hear Charlie say that they are going to try and get the ball forward as soon as possible, always looking for a forward pass. That was one of my bugbears with Dodds tactics, this constantly passing back and across the back four.

Sounds daft but will there be minutes of the meeting for those who were unable to attend?
That's just what I was thinking. I can't make the meeting today but would like to know what went on.

I unfortunately won't be able to attend the meeting at the Innes, but hope to be able to make kickoff time for the match.
The more that you read into the CEO's comments, the more he seems so out of touch with the fanbase, or his ego is so huge that he choses to only see the things through 'Gardiner tinted' glasses.

CEO Scott Gardiner, John Robertson and Scott Kellacher, can't believe he was never shown the door with Dodds and Wilson.

I was joking about Warnock, for the avoidance of doubt! He was never really interested in us, it just so happened he’d lost his job when we had a vacancy. As I recall, he said he loved Scotland and the Highlands, and he would speak to any club who wanted to offer him a job. A lot of our fans got excited that he wanted the job (on a tiny fraction of his normal salary!)
If I recall this from an article, I think he lives in Cornwall, which could be a very big stumbling block if he was to travel back and forth and not relocate!

I punted for someone else, that being Carl Tremarco. He has been gaining a lot of Premier experience at County, he is part of the coaching squad on match days, and might be wanting to stretch his wings. One of the downsides is he is probably on a good wage at County, and there might be compensation need. It's just another name into the ring.
-
It definitely has to be someone out of work. Some names banded about on P & B would need compensation to their clubs ( McCabe, Bartley and Imiree being three), and that might just be a bridge too far to even be considered.

And if there was any decrease in the effort of the squad, in anyway, due to the rumours of rifts between Dodds and some of the team, a new coach with new ideas will press reset, and everyone will start with a clean slate.
