  1. Graham Bayne is a grafter - no doubt about that - my only concern is that he doesn,t score enough goals - albeit that he has been getting used as a sub mostly and he obviously misses a lot of games through injury. Over a season Denzil will score more goals and I don't think we can afford the luxury of having Bayne there just to assist Dargo, we can't rely on one player to score all the time.

  2. A real nice Guy. Bobby is a tiler to trade and I spent a couple of weeks working with him last year on a job in Nairn. Good crack even if he was an ex County man(just kidding Bobby incase you read this). Certainly no big money and glamour lifestyles for people like Bobby just honest professionals that enjoy the Game.

  3. Can they get any fitter? Under Brewster they were incredibly fit. maybe CC is hoping roscoe will make one of his belting runs up the wing then carry on up into the north stand - do a back flip and catch the ball after he has belted it over the bar - saves a bit of time waiting for the ball to come back into play!

p.s. what about this goalie just like Mark Brown hasn't dropped the ball once.

  4. Great to see the playhouse after all these years remember going to see the sound of music and having a wee greet when christopher Plummer couldn't sing eidelweiss at the concert. What a wee softie I must have been even for a hilton lad! now I just greet at the prices

  5. With all this talk about italians there was also the ness Cafe on the Riverside next to the Columba Hotel. Best ice creams ever especially the nougat wafers. Latterly after it closed it was Strattons and a small cafe next door to Strattons on church Street. Think it might have been called Rays? not too sure about the name though they did great hot dogs

  6. Whats the difference between a women  and a terrorist?

You can negotiate with a terrorist

What do you call a woman with brain cells?

    Pregnant

How do you stop a woman having sex?

    Marry her

    Why did god invent alcohol

So ugly women could have sex too.

  7. My first match was against Lossie in seson 1970 - 1971 when I was ten years old This is the red and black stripes of the jags I am talking about. Cant remember the score but I was hooked and with the jags winning the highland league in the next two seasons everything football was SUPERB

First Scottish League game was at Pittodrie Aberdeen v Dundee Utd in the days of Theo Snelders Hans Hilhaus

    etc.

First Internationals were the qualifiers for euro championships when we had Romania and Switzerland in our qualifying group. Am fairly sure I saw our old manager JR scoring in one of these

The lads all deserve a few days in the sunshine and lets hope they come back with the energy and fervour they need to get off to a flier at the start of the new season<a href="http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNfox000" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_10_7.gif" alt="Brazil" border="0"></a>

  10. It has to be Hastings as he had a good season where as Golly hasn,t looked his old self after injury. This poses another question who will be the team captain as its no use having a sub in charge. ITS BIG DARREN FOR MEjava script:emoticon(':021:')

  11. Met Denzil in Nairn a couple of weeks ago while he was with his wife and kids. A really nice guy to speak too very honest and unassuming. I asked him about his contract and he said he had agreed a two year deal and is really happy to stay with ICT. If Dargo goes I think Dennis will take the mantle of our main striker as he did in the past and he won,t let us down

    ROLL ON NEXT SEASON

  12. Top six ambitions are realistic but can we really expect to have such a good away record again next season. We must sort out our home form if that is to happen if we dont do that then who knows what might happen. Our main objective has to be survival as we dont want to be back downstairs playing with our lesser friends from over the bridge :015:
