I thought that this site was unofficial :024: I am referring to EWS's first post
  2. What is there to be afraid off? The world finds out that ICT have a robust trust that can question the club and the club have the decency to take on board the issues of the fee paying supporters. I believe the the world should know that provincial supporters are treated less favourably than the old firm, but that the support will not stand :003: for that sort of discrimination.
  3. I think that it would be most helpful if the club and the trust release any reports, information etc before the meeting. This will allow people to read and understand the issue and be able to table relevant questions. What I don't want is the statements to be released at the meeting with little or no time to digest the contents and to properly question club officials and the trust.
  4. It has now been a month since fans of ICT were thrown out of the ground for the audacity to stand while they were singing. We, the fans, were promised swift action and were to be informed of the remedial action to be carried out by the club and the Supporters Trust. Does the club think that if they say and do nothing then the problem will go away. The supporters trust appears to be no better in that they promised a meeting to discuss the issue. I am still waiting. All in all it appears that supporters of ICT do not matter to the club or the trust. It is pathetic but then I should have known that this is what would have happened.
  5. Aye tis true that my voice is not the silkiest on the planet. :toothy04: But then again I didn't have a portrait of Edward Heath in my bathroom :moon2: :toilet05:
  6. There is a way around all of this. 1 Supporters have a ticket for the seated areas of the stadium 2 The west stand terracing can be used by supporters if they choose to stand and sing etc. The above should be all legal and legit as the paying supporter will have a numbered seat as per regulations. The supporter can stand in what was previously a perfectly safe terrace as the regulations do not say that you cannot do that.( double negative means positive :023:) This also sorts out the problem of having a singing section in a season ticket area. This in my opinion is not a good idea as it prevents the casual supporter from joining in.
  7. Don't you mean seats IHE :moon2:
  8. Front page of today's Inverness Courier. I refer you to my previous post :008:
  9. I think that the singing section should stay in section A. That way you can have your normal place, with a ticket and then go and choose to go to the singing section. As this area does not have season ticket holders in place there is no problem with moving them. Also the singing section should be fluid, that is that you do not have a specific seat, you should just be able to hang out with your friends if you wish. I for one would like to meet up and sing with people sometimes, but at other times would like to rustle sweets :023:
  10. Yes he was that OLD man :021: :smurf01:
  11. He's probably too pished to stand :drinking10:
  12. Sophia I would agree with your comment about standing if it was implemented equally and fairly. If you have been to any home match against the Old Firm, the opposition support stand for the whole game and generate lots of atmosphere for their team. In an attempt to generate atmosphere in the home stands the same thing happened. Except that the home support was chucked out. As a fan all I ask for is equality of treatment for all fans. Also can you enlighten me as to what the good reason for not standing is?
  13. I fear that the club is going to say as follows in a statement. Standing is not allowed :008: When asked the singers ignored the reasonable request of the stewards( who do a marvellous job and that without them football would not be able to be played in Inverness). :023: What happens in other sections of the ground is not your concern sonny, just you do as your told. :32: The Old Firm are a special case and can do as they wish as they have some of the best supporters in the world. :33: The club are only doing as the SPL ask and we don't want fined. :020: Just pay your money and do as you are told when asked to by highly paid well trained event stewards who have the best interests of the supporters in mind at all times. :017: Have you bought next seasons season ticket yet? Oh I forgot It's not Mike Smiths fault.
  14. Good call Givemeaccc, we should all stand and start singing hymns and if they try to throw us out we can claim religious discrimination. :016:
  15. IHE, What are the words to Jailhouse Rock? :016:
  16. Well said Mee. :022:
  17. Caley D was eva at the game today? :001: see reply No 16
  18. That well known person of calm and tranquillity that is the IHE was one of the ' young boys' who was hoofed. :crazy07:
  19. I have heard that one of the reasons that they don't go into the away fans and chuck them out is that they are scared. :008: Seriously, because of health and safety concerns stewards will not confront away fans. :33: Does this mean that because ICT fans are generally well behaved we get shafted by the stewards? Maybe the home support should become more aggressive towards the stewards and then maybe we will be left alone as well. Is this what you want, Mike Smith? :008: :008: :008: :008:
  20. They were singing and sometimes standing. They were being harassed for standing, which only made matters worse, whilst the Pars fans could stand and nothing was being done to them.
  21. Absolutely shocking. The singing section was excellent, only marred by over officious inconsistent stewarding. Yet again home fans were harassed by the Hitler youth whilst away fans were allowed to do as they wished. Mike Smith, these people are operating under your instructions. Sort it out you effing numptie or pack your bags and allow a person who knows how to run a football club be in charge. You are the top man, you are responsible. The singing section improved the atmosphere no end but your policies ruined it. :33: Best of luck in the pokie IHE :016: We will stand by you. :blah01: Keep the singing section for next season. This can be a major club asset.

I would imagine that it is Tabitha using her initiative to reach as wide an audience as possible. ICT in use of initiative shocker :016:
  23. As a trust member how can I get access to the constitution? Should it not be on the website. I would then know what I have agreed to let you do with my (and many others) money. Minutes would be nice as well.
  24. So the supporters trust have spent money on something that the club already has access to. :024: Why does the trust not have advertised meetings where expenditure over a certain amount can be voted on. This would still allow you to buy stamps and also give a voice to the membership.
  25. Interesting to note that £3000 of the money is being well used. :018: "The Trust will invest over £3000 of their profits from the evening into purchasing a tractor mounted sprayer for use by the ground staff at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium to keep the pitch in tip-top shape." Surely this money should be spent on something that the supporters and the community can benefit from and not something that the club itself should be paying for. A pitch in tip top shape is a requirement for an SPL club and not something that is a nice to have to be funded by charity donations. I also cannot recall this being mentioned at the AGM, but I can remember discussions about providing gear for the ballboys/girls. Has anything been done about this?
