Robbo's interim - Neil McCann
Can he no watch the game at home? He’ll no be at parkhead watching it in the flesh. Irish pundits on the rugby last night watching from home and managed fine.

Definitely didn’t expect 6 points from fife this week. Another 3 points on Saturday and that should pretty much solve the relegation issue. Well done guys.

Fair point. just seems a bit of an unnecessary risk for 15 secs of fame, like BD last night. Hope the squad stay covid free and we don’t end up with another back log of fixtures.

Robbo's interim - Neil McCann
Unsure if it is the smartest move with covid rules at present and we are all supposed to be keeping within bubbles. Hope he doesn’t bring anything back to the squad. Fair enough if was working voluntarily for us (which I doubt) and needed the cash by working for bbc Scotland.

Definitely can’t fault the effort. Draw was fair. Raith are a better team than QOS and Morton. Unsure why Doran & Toshney can’t make the bench. I wouldn’t play keatings either. Would have given Hyde & Harkness last 2 mins as might need them. Don’t think D Mackay is fully fit either. Is there any free agents we can get to bolster the squad to help us??
- New manager next season?

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
What we need to do is have a conveyor belt of young talent coming through that is first team/premier league standard (like polworth, Ross) if you class Christie as international standard, then you can expect a decent fee for producing such a player. It’s not going to happen constantly but rearing our own for the first team is.

Dundee v ICT - Preview - Matchday
Part of the issue has to be that we have bought a lot of players with suspect injury records in their career. Obv that’s why their cheap and available and willing to come to us but we probably have more than most that we need to pay weekly wages too. Would loan deals be a better option???

That could be a huge 6 pointer for the whole league. Suddenly the top 4 have a touch of breathing space. I hate to say it but we maybe need to look down more than up. Our next 2 games could be huge in that regard. I think we have a young squad that could be dangerous next season (with a couple of less injury prone more experienced pros beside them) but we have to make sure we are still in this league. Most dropped points this season have been preventable but sounds like tonight was a merited defeat.

Robbo's interim - Neil McCann
as an interim appointment it has to be someone the ceo and robbo are happy with. i didnt expect him either with his tv commitments so fair play to him. i assume barry didnt want the job. to me it seems a logical appointment and someone who is likely to want to attack and knows scottish football. if kettlewell is still in the area then i would have thought that the most logical. some "fans" need to waken up, give the guy a chance. we struggle to get players to come here to play for us, most of the strikers we have had have received dogs abuse.

as much as i would like to get some moneys worth out of toshney, players coaching fellow players could be a route to disaster.

Robbo's interim - Neil McCann
First of can i express best of wishes to Robbo and Scott at this trying time for both of them. however a bit of pre match discussion, who is likely to be the interim? i would assume whoever it is, is likely to be there for the next 8 weeks until the end of the season. like others have said, i assumed all youth training is postponed at present and i would be quite happy with barry and ryan covering, with assistance from charlie. does ross tokely still take an ict youth side?? whoever it is has to be able to work with barry and ryan. i wouldn't be so keen on a pele return but yes to donald park. from gardiner's statement yesterday i would have said kettlewell met the criteria and i wouldn't be against that but i would have thought that could have been a pretty instant appointment if going to happen. from listening to managers who have left jobs this season, dealing with covid protocols seems quite a big factor, so appointing someone with covid protocol experience maybe quite beneficial, then stephen robinson might be an idea, especially as he seems to know our squads quite well as he has raided it plenty in previous years. looking at contacts gardiner has it would likely be someone with hearts, dundee or rangers past or stuart mccall might be in the frame. i don't think there is anyone likely from his spurs days. if you want to go leftfield then why not mark hughes and mark bowen. been out of the game for a while now but keen to get back in. a wee 8 week sabbatical to the highlands may get them roaded for a bigger gig elsewhere in the summer. we could of course just go for eddie howe but that might upset the celtic fans more than they already are!!! any other likely suspects???

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
If we have raised 100k through virtual ticket sales that I would guess pays at least 3 (maybe 4) players salaries. Will it give us a budget to sign another loanee until the end of the season? I think we’re a touch short in defence with so many injuries. Coll would be the most obvious signing. Not the strongest defensively but would certainly aid us. If lower leagues called before end of feb, are there any loanees we could get to bulk up the squad?? Tbh, survival this year now the aim, foundations for a title tilt next season hopefully.

Does Donaldson have Hearts history? Has to be from another scottish club to be a loan or signing a free agent. Anyone from ourwith uk would be tricky with covid rules??

If Henderson at Celtic is available (?) that would be a handy acquisition. Can playwide or centre of park and has experience of living in the Highlands already.

Totally agree but taking in one loanee in to boost squad and fan morale is hardly akin to the business hearts and Dundee have opted to do in January.

I certainly don’t view Morton or Ayr as bigger clubs and at least on a par with raith and Dunfermline. We surely have to aim to be a steady championship club with odd season in the top league even with geography and low community support against us. I’m a big Robbo fan but one of the bonuses of him being our boss was the ability to tap other clubs for loans with his network of contacts compared to say Foran had. Next season looks like having more opportunities for us but it appears we pinned our hopes on Billy Mackay with no plan B. It is a worry we haven’t replaced Kennedy when every other club in the league have brought someone in. If Billy not available, maybe we get Coll back!!!!
