Team for Celtic
thank fully i havent got one,so cant "quote" from it,but it was common sense anyway, how many players resign from a club?

Elvis
It's a full page feature in the Sunday times but I can't see it online. i wonder if elvis is regretting his decision? he could of been manager by now

Team for Celtic
if he resigns a contract that is I don't think the board would accept his resignation without his contract expiring first. ?? hes out of contract in the summer,so if he resigns that contract(as originally said) we,ll be fine

The Geography dilemma
i really dont understand the problem,if someones from edinburgh or especially glasgow, then invenress might seem far away and out in the sticks, but look how better it is uo here.ok there not everything large cities have, but a hell of a lot less crime, lots of fresh air,and plenty outdoor pirsuitsso whys it so bad/ its only a hr and a bit by plane to london for go sake so its not like its as if you have to spend 3 days sailing to tiny islands etc, think at the end of the day its just a useful excuse

thats the impression i got when hearing robbo on radio yetserday, and i think some other people have stated on here the board didnt include him on the shortlist, but at the end of the day who really knows apart from grassa/fraser/robbo

could of done, but club saying yesterday they had 2 interviews to conduct today and tommorrow,if they havent contacted robbo how do they know if hes available on those days? i dont need to prove anything to anyone about managers, but lets say alex ferguson as 1,please lets get back on topic, as neither has a chance of being ict manager

wishful thinking on robbo,s behalf i think as both parties in edinburgh on sat evening why would he be told to keep quiet? everyone knows he applied for it,so what if hes interviewed the club just looking at all options.makes grassa/fraser/the board look silly if hes saying hes had no contact from the club(on there say so) then gets the job on tuesday

and didnt think he would be interviewed unless he got a call today

it wasnt a lear jet it was a time machine ,took 3 seconds to get to birmingham and back all we know for sure was grassa was "south" and returned on friday lunchtime, where he actually was is unsure. do we know if he actually flew/ didnt interviews last time for manager take place in gleneagles?

Just read that. Don't know what we're supposed to believe. Blackieforce mentions earier in this thread that Robbo claimed in commentary that he hadn't been asked for an interview. And yet: "Robertson was interviewed by his friend, club chief executive Graeme Bennett, and chairman George Fraser at an Inverness hotel on Friday. Terms were discussed which would see Robertson take over until the end of the season, with the option of a longer contract depending on whether Caley Thistle were still in the SPL or relegated to the First Division." So is Robbo just being coy? Or is the Sunday Herald writing p!sh? mmm someone somewhere is lying, robbo saaid yesterday during ict commentary no-one from club had contacted him,and if he ddint hear today he thought he would be out the running

when you say reputation, what do u mean ? reputation for what? dalglish i would say certainly hasnt been a hugely sucessful manager Kenny Dalglish not a successful manager? Liverpool * Football League First Division o winner(3): 1985/86, 1987/88, 1989/90 * FA Cup o winner(2): 1986, 1989 * Charity Shield o winner(5): 1988, 1989, 1990, (Shared): 1991, 1987 Blackburn Rovers * FA Premier League o winner(1): 1994/1995 * Football League Second Division Play Off o winner(1): 1991/1992 *Celtic * Scottish League Cup o winner: 2000 * 1985/86 Manager of the year award * 1987/88 Manager of the year award * 1989/90 Manager of the year award * 1996/97 Manager of the year award Yeah, let's hope we don't get someone like him in!? i didnt say wasnt sucessful,i said wasnt hugely sucessful i have delted above what he didnt actually win,as coming 2nd with a club like liverpool isnt a sucsess all those jobs above he was given large sums of cash to spend, get him in at ict give him ?50,000 to spend a season, and i bet he does nothing!
-

yes but look at the cash he was given at blackburn,he didnt do much at newcastle guys like dalglish might be reasonable at blackburn but a job at ict or similar where he had little cash he wouldnt survive

said in todays paper he was on a short list of 3 for the faores job There was never any chance of Calderwood coming here . so faroes job is a bigger job than ict? certainly more hassle getting there than inverness Where has anyone said that ? i didnt say anyone did say that just asked a question,as you said claderwood would never come here, yet he would take faroes job, which says to me it has more appeal
