  1. Hoping for a new episode of the Wyness Shuffle podcast soon to try and make sense of everything going on ....😭

Ps I'm wondering if our website is the least updated in league football. If you were relying on that for your information you'd still not know what the score was on Saturday, although probably better to be blissfully unaware.  Seriously though, it's really poor and another example of the lack of communication and engagement with fans.

  2. My hope is that we transition to a fully fan owned club like Annan.  One of the very few rays of sunshine in a very depressing season has been the work of George Moodie and others on the board of the Supporters Trust and I wish they and the fans in general had much more say in the running and direction of the club.  I can only imagine what attendances will be like next year if the status quo remains.

The same applies to the Travel Club which is very well run and organised.

Cammy Harper was one of the other few positives this season. I fear he will be moving on in the summer and can't blame his as he should be playing in the championship at the very least.

Money is going to be in very short supply so let’s start giving Keith Bray, Robbie Thompson, Adam Brooks, Roddy MacGregor, Wallace Duffy, Adam Brooks and (when back fit) Lewis Nicholson regular game time with a view to rebuilding.

A truly shameful capitulation last night. The overall lack of pride, endeavour or passion we've seen from the majority of the players and our clueless management team over the four play-off games has been difficult to comprehend. Hopefully the board got the message loud and clear at the final whistle.

A board member confirmed to me last night that Ferguson is on a 6 month rolling contract, rather than the 3 year deal he keeps referring to in interviews. Based on recent rumours it would sound like it would cost between 130-150k to pay him off. If the guy had any class at all he'd walk today but you can guarantee he'll hang on in there and pocket the pay-off he ill deserves and clearly doesn't need. His post-match comments were beyond belief.

Personally, if Ferguson and/or Gardiner stay I won't be renewing my season tickets. I doubt I'll be alone in adopting this stance.

    Grim times indeed.

Can't see the usual post-match interview on Youtube, where can you find it?  Thanks

  4. Hoping we forget trying to replicate Barcelona and Manchester City tomorrow, ditch the total football and have a right good old fashioned go from the off..... If Billy starts it should be in addition to Samuel and Pepple not instead of in my opinion!

  5. Hamilton giving their season ticket holders half price entry tomorrow night.  Really disappointed our club not offering something similar on Saturday.  Win or lose this playoff tie, huge changes are required on and off the park in my opinion to prevent more fans becoming increasingly disillusioned to the point they stop going altogether.  I understand the focus right now has to be on Championship survival but here’s hoping there are major changes coming in the summer regardless of what league we are in next year.

  6. Just had a look on Hamilton website and see they were giving their season ticket holders half price entry (£10) today.  After what our season ticket holders have endured this year I'd like to think the club will show some appreciation to them by doing something similar for next Saturday's game.

  7. I think we will come through this but still can't understand why Keith Bray was allowed to go on loan when he was our most creative player in the early part of the season and Nicola Udjur has been warming the bench for months when he was our best performing centre back.  Strange goings on.

A much needed 3 points and a good performance to go with it. My only issue (and it is a repetitive one) we never looked likely to score. If we never scored that free kick we would have been in trouble. You can have 90% of the ball and play some lovely passes but if the end product isn’t there it means nothing.

I was really impressed with Samuel today, he uses his body really well. Holds the ball up using his strength and even won us a couple smart fouls.

I did notice that Dunc went straight down the tunnel at full time and thought that seemed a little odd. I know he has had a bit of stick recently but I was expecting him over, anyone else feel the same?

Big Dunc has been criticised on here and on Wyness Shuffle for fist pumping at the end of matches.  It’s a shame if he feels he can no longer celebrate with the travelling fans as for me him celebrating with the fans at Arbroath in September was highlight of the season - admittedly there haven’t been too many.

  9. Well done Cammy Harper, what a strike and a fantastic season you've been having despite our difficulties 👍.  Player of the year imo.

Hopefully this (ironic) partnership proves fruitful!

On a more serious note it's good to see the club taking steps to improve communication with the fans (including Ross Morrison and Scott Young attending the recent supporters meetings).  Well done to the Trust for the progress made in this regard so far.

Duffy Dog nets but please tell me we are with the gale now 🫣

No, they took my advice and swapped round so we were shooting with the wind behind us first half..... 😎 It's not as blustery now...

  12. Wind blowing right down the pitch into the north stand ... Let's change round if we win the toss and we might have a chance of scoring the first goal 🤷‍♂️.

Even the sprinklers are blowing in! Let's hope someone noticed in the warm up!
