Montrose Away Should Montrose have their ground ready in time for this weekend, then we will be facing them on Saturday. They are having similar issues to Tranent with drainage problems over the last few weeks of monsoon like conditions and have already moved their KDM Trophy tie against the Spartans to Cove Rangers ground on Monday night. The Gable Endies results have been hot and cold recently with some good results in amogst some less notable achievements. A less than impressive performance

KDM @ FIRHILL Weather permitting, the Caley Jags will face the Harry Wraggs in the last 16 of the KDM Trophy at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill on Tuesday night. The snow is aplenty up North but Partick managed to play against Morton at the weekend with a stirring three goal comeback in a five goal encounter whilst we were snowed off in our home game versus Peterhead. However, don't fret if you are snowbound in the North. Should the game go ahead, the full match will be shown live on BBC Alba with

Blue Toon on the up Off to Balmoor Stadium to play Peterhead this Saturday in what will be a tough test of our resolve given the Blue Toon's current surge up the table having won their last three fixtures. We did win the first meeting in the Highlands 2-0 whilst Peterhead were getting to grips with League1 football. A Sole goal and a Spoons strike were enough to take the points that day. Looks like it will be a more difficult proposition this time with Peterhead on a roll. Beware, storm Benjami

No Room for Error It's almost last chance saloon at the last chance saloon club as we face Peterhead at Balmoor Stadium on Tuesday night with the game kicking off at 19:45. It will also be screened on BBC ALBA for those not able to attend. A cringeworthy penalty decision against Stenhousemuir on Sunday meant that we remain two points behind the Warriors after the 1-1 draw which saw the three points wrenched from our grasp by an incompetent referee, who up to that point, within reason, had been

Palmerston Test It's one of the more difficult away games of the season to round of an arduous January schedule, made more draining with multiple postponements and a demanding fixture schedule of seven away games on the trot. It all comes to a climax at Palmerston Park Dumfries on Saturday 31st January. A standard 3:00pm kick off time is set for what could prove to be a crucial meeting with Queen of the South, a team on good form at the moment, and that has seen them climb up to third in the ta

On the Road Again As Willie Nelson once said: "We are on the road again" to arguably the toughest test of the season so far as we make the long trek to Dumfries to play Queen of the South, one of the clubs who will fancy their chances at making the play-offs at the very least. Often a difficult venue to try and extricate points from, Palmerston will host the game this Saturday with a 3:00pm kick off. Our last visit last season saw Admin Brooks take his anger out on us as we were pumped 4-1. I b
