Longstaff Longshot seals win Scott Kellacher made two changes from last week with Bavidge and Mckay dropping to the bench and Chanka Zimba and Luis Longstaff coming in from the start. Queens had a sparse bench with only the five subs. It was a second airing for the new away strip and the visitors didn't have to wait long for the pink strip to open the scoring through Chanka Zimba in the 9th minute with a deft back heel flick. Thereafter it was Queens keeper Ross Stewart doing his utmost to stem

Tense Draw at Dumfries A big game for both teams with only three points separating the sides at kick-off, and at the end it was still three points that separated them. Peter Murphy went with an unchanged side from the one that thrashed East Fife last week with danger coming at us on a few fronts. Kai Kennedy, Jack Stott, Kurtis Guthrie to name a few. Scott Kellacher made more changes again with Chanka Zimba and Alfie Bavidge getting the nod and Alfie Stewart the driving force in midfield. The p

KDM TROPHY FINAL WOE The KDM TROPHY Final would be played out at the Wyre Stadium, Firhill, with Championship side Raith Rovers facing League1 Inverness CT. Both sides had won the Challenge Cup three times. Both sides shared the win in season 2020/21 when it was the Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Trophy with Covid preventing the final from going ahead. Over & Out New Signing Oscar McIntyre went straight into the starting XI with Ross Millen, Calum MacLeod and Paul Allan missing from the midweek massacre at East Kilbride. David Wotherspoon also started but Billy Mckay was on the bench. Both sides failed to qualify for the knockout stages despite Rovers trouncing the Caley Jags 5-1 at Stark's Park. Three goals in the first half from Dylan Easton (x2 one pen) and Jack Hamilton killed the contest with Wotherspoon getting a consolation before

Spartans Cup Win We were Underdogged Inverness made three changes from their KDM Trophy win at Firhill in midweek. In came Danny Devine, Joe Chalmers and Paul Allan for Oscar MacIntyre, Jordan Alonge and Adam Mackinnon. Spartans had plenty of experience in their ranks with former Caley Jag Sean Welsh in their side. Inverness were dominant over the first half with Paddy Martin the busier keeper with four or five saves. However it was all square at the interval. The same after ninety minutes and

Deja View at Ochilview The hosts had a sparse bench and had re-loaned young keeper Colbi McQuarie back from Motherwell ahead of this clash. Gary Naysmith had a seasoned starting XI though with the dangerous Matty Aitken and Ross Taylor, their matchwinners last time in the Highlands, present again today and Man of the Match back in August Darren Jamieson in goal. Scott Kellacher started with our midweek four goal striker Alfie Bavidge up front with Zimba & B Mckay in reserve. Calum MacLeod k

Cheated out of three points Down to the nitty gritty today in the late televised kick-off at Ochilview and there really was nowhere to hide now as the Caley Jags faced a relentless Warriors side who are unbeaten in their last fifteen home games ahead of this 'virtual' title decider. Not quite a winner takes all encounter, but it would hand a crucial advantage to the victor, although a draw keeps the title battle going to the wire. With the Warriors hitting the top of the table last week their c
