Seems like a sound addition. Inverness CourierCaley Thistle confirm signing of defender who was at Asto...He was on trial at the club during this summer.
Desperate Stuff A dreadful game where we shared a goal apiece with almost relegated East Fife. We prevailed in the penalty shoot-out to earn the bonus point but the performance was not what was expected. I know I know it is usually a competition we use to fine tune our squad but we are a far cry from the finished article going by that performance. An absolutely honking performance mostly played at pre-season pace. The one bit of quality got us level in time added on, from a neat finish into the
League Cup - Season Opener The 2026/2027 competitive season kicks off with a home fixture in the Premier Sports Cup, group F. It's not an event we have put all our eggs in the one basket over the last few seasons but I'm sure we will give it a go. Group F consists of the Caley Jags along with Premiership St Johnstone, Championship Morton, League1 East Fife and Linlithgow Rose from the fifth tier in the Lowland League East. East Fife managed to avoid relegation from League1 last season including

CTO Player of the Year Oscar MacIntyre Oscar has had a great season with us since signing from Hibs and has been a favourite with the fans. He has scored 1 goal for the club in our 3-3 draw with Partick Thistle in the KDM Trophy (which we won on penalties) and picked up 5 yellow cards, in 37 appearances for the club. Starting the season well he was then rotated with Mitchell Robertson, but was picking up votes in most games he played throughout the season. Although he did not start on Satur
🏆 League1 Champions 🏆 The Caley Jags are off to the Championship after beating Hamilton Accies 2-1 in front of over 5000 raucous fans at the Caledonian Stadium. An early strike from Captain Danny Devine in the third minute settled the nerves and an absolute club legend Billy Mckay added a second before half an hour to up the volume in the stadium. I spoke to Billy at East Fife and he assured me they would get the job done this week. What a legend. Accies scored a late goal through Kevin O'Hara

Ross County set off last season expecting to walk the Championship. Hopefully they use the same mentality in Division 1. Until we have some games under our belt in the Championship we just need to do our best and see what happens.
I went into this game wanting neither team to win but after the first 20 minutes, I actually wanted England to edge it. (Then Spain to gub them in the final). Not a big fan of the Argentinians, and my Chilean and Brazilian colleagues tell me the feelings in South America are similar towards them. The politicisation of the Falklands at the end of the game, and the previous - alleged racism - issue when they played Egypt make them unsupportable for me. ¡Buena suerte a España el domingo! (Good luck to Spain on Sunday)
Seeing as the season is now officially over and we have been crowned League 1 winners, I will post this now so that you guys can let me know who's under contract for next season. It can also be used to post the list of retained and released players once that has been announced 👍. Finally, it can also be used for transfer rumours and signings. On that I'll start with one from Everything Caley's Instagram who seem to suggest we are after Ruth's Dylan Smith. I also see on Twitter from The Scarf t
I've been looking at the tdams in the Championship and thinking about what I'd cinsider a good season to be and tbh any finish from 8th upwards is a result to me. Consolidating a position in the Championship and moving forwards from that has to be taken as positive given our recent history. I don't expect Alan Savage to turn into daddy Warbucks akin to Brooks Mileson given his history. I wish for a new owner with deep pockets so Alan can enjoy his success without constantly topping up our balanc
Apologies for posting this in the main forum ... Ryan Christie, Ryan Christie, Ryan Christie ... there we go, now its ICT related 😄 Do users want a separate sub forum for the World Cup (and by extension the Euros in a couple of years time hopefully) or should we simply stick with the "Other Football" category? A separate forum would allow us to keep it all in place and not get lost with other stuff, keeping it in the general football category could also be done if we just prefix every world cup
