  2. 13 Attempt saved. Graeme Shinnie (Inverness CT) left footed shot from more than 35 yards is saved in the top left corner by Cammy Binnie (Linlithgow Rose). 17 ICT forced a couple a couple of corners before Ryan Duncan fired home from the centre of the box.
  3. Gonna be weird going from seeing Alonge play for Caley last season and now this season play against my other team, Totton, in the same league as Salisbury.
  4. Surely MacKay has provided enough goals and assists whilst not being fit to warrant a contract? He's a game changer. Whether that's for 20 minutes in the early part of the season or 90 minutes at the end.
  5. I used to live in Lithgae for several years. The Rose matches were fantastic. Enough quality to be good and not enough at stake to be cautious. I hope they stay the same. The town is great. Cobbled streets, a palace, a loch, a ridiculous number of pubs and cafés. I'd recommend Brunch for their Mediterranean food, with Delhi's Winter a fantastic Indian restaurant.
  6. To me there have been some great supporters at this world cup - the Tartan Army and the Norwegian supporters were the best. The England supporters now have a chance to write 'Came 3rd' or '4th' on the thousands of replica winners trophies they waved at matches. The Golden Boot could go to a French or English player. With regard to the contentious decisions for most teams in the 2026 Tournament, probably the biggest ever in the history of the world cup was: ''Whether Geoff Hurst's famous "ghost goal" crossed the line in the 1966 World Cup Final remains football's most enduring controversy, but most scientific, frame-by-frame film analyses conclude that the ball did not fully cross the goal line.''
  7. Should be Fly, For one thing (if you haven’t been before) Linlithgow is a nice (unscarred/ intact) town. The ICT team selected looks strong. The Rose will be healthy opponents today however the ICT players will have heard the fan criticism from the EF game, so will I expect, want to make a Mark (send a message)! Never been to the Rose’s ground so that’s a plus for those travelling today. Enjoy ! bc

Jags at the Rose It's the second League Cup fixture for the Caley Jags as they travel to Prestonfield to take on Lowland League East side Linlithgow Rose. Rose got off to a winning start in group F as they beat Morton 1-0 in their opening fixture as we struggled to a 1-1 draw with League1 East Fife. On Tuesday night Rose lost 0-2 against Premiership St Johnstone with a Caley Jags XI playing out a friendly at Strathspey Thistle and bagging six goals. Morton made our draw with East Fife look like

Desperate Stuff A dreadful game where we shared a goal apiece with almost relegated East Fife. We prevailed in the penalty shoot-out to earn the bonus point but the performance was not what was expected. I know I know it is usually a competition we use to fine tune our squad but we are a far cry from the finished article going by that performance. An absolutely honking performance mostly played at pre-season pace. The one bit of quality got us level in time added on, from a neat finish into the

League Cup - Season Opener The 2026/2027 competitive season kicks off with a home fixture in the Premier Sports Cup, group F. It's not an event we have put all our eggs in the one basket over the last few seasons but I'm sure we will give it a go. Group F consists of the Caley Jags along with Premiership St Johnstone, Championship Morton, League1 East Fife and Linlithgow Rose from the fifth tier in the Lowland League East. East Fife managed to avoid relegation from League1 last season including

CTO Player of the Year Oscar MacIntyre Oscar has had a great season with us since signing from Hibs and has been a favourite with the fans.  He has scored 1 goal for the club in our 3-3 draw with Partick Thistle in the KDM Trophy (which we won on penalties) and picked up 5 yellow cards, in 37 appearances for the club.  Starting the season well he was then rotated with Mitchell Robertson, but was picking up votes in most games he played throughout the season.  Although he did not start on Satur
