He wasn't a bad player for Dunfermline but, by all accounts, has being playing poorly for Sheffield Wednesday of late.

"Unfinished business" at Sheffield Wednesday is his explanation for not wanting to join ICT.  So basically, he didn't want to join a pishy wee team in the Highlands when can earn more money sitting in the stand in Sheffield.

However, Brewster's attempt to sign him shows he clearly feels we are still weak in central defence, which is a encouraging given that CC made such little progress in this area, despite it being so obvious that our defence was lacking.

I'm feeling a bit more optimistic now that we have Brew back in charge. He seems to be more aware than CC of the glaringly obvious. He knows that at team like ICT must have as its foundation a solid defence. There's no point having Romanian internationalists playing up front if the team are shipping 2-3 goals every match.

I reckon Brew thinks Caff is pish, not SPL standard. I tend to agree.
