After the success of the Kilmarnock price reduction last week which saw the crowd at Rugby Park swell from an average gate of 4800 against ICT to over 7600, ICT officials are hoping that their decision to allow children under 16 free entry into this weekend's Dunfermline game will have a similar effect on the crowd at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
Average crowds against Dunfermline are around 3600 so there is plenty room for the free kids .......
{styleboxop}If this initiative is successful, we will look at repeating it. Alan Savage, ICT Chairman{/styleboxop}In a press release issued on Tuesday, Caley Thistle Chairman Alan Savage said "If this initiative is successful, we will look at repeating it. Football is expensive for families these days so we want to make this gesture and be able to evaluate the response. We're thanking our existing fans and whetting the appetite of the prospective Caley Thistle supporters of future years. We hope many youngsters will cheer us on this weekend as a result of this free entry scheme. We're even extending it to young Dunfermline fans."
Free entry to the game for under 16s is by a voucher system. The voucher can be obtained directly from the official club website www.ictfc.co.uk or you can also download a copy from here: VOUCHER (PDF). Vouchers can also be collected at the Stadium club shop. Season ticket holders who have provided email details will be emailed their voucher.
Vouchers can be redeemed in the Club Shop on weekdays 10am to 4.30pm or on Matchday after 10am. The voucher can also be redeemed at the turnstiles on Saturday after 1:30pm. Please note - Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
