    Season Tickets 2007/08

      Teaser Paragraph:

ICT LogoIn what will no doubt be a very welcome move, Caley Thistle have announced that the cost of season tickets for the 2007/08 season will be exactly the same as they were for the 2006/07 season.

In a press release, Chairman Alan Savage announced:" We want to show the club's recognition of our fans' loyalty by making no increase in admission charges for 2007-08. That will, in real terms, be a reduction in prices and it represents an investment in our supporters which we hope will further strengthen our fan base for the future".

The information was sent out to the media in a press release earlier today (Thu 10th May) and also to newsletter subscribers on the official website. The full press release reads as follows :

Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC have, ahead of their final home game of this season, decided to freeze season ticket and match ticket prices for next season.

Chairman Alan Savage announced:" We want to show the club's recognition of our fans' loyalty by making no increase in admission charges for 2007-08. "That will, in real terms, be a reduction in prices and it represents an investment in our supporters which we hope will further strengthen our fan base for the future. "The price freeze will not prevent us committing additional resources to the football operation." Mr Savage  added:"For most season ticket holders, it will be the second season running that their prices have been frozen. It also flags up what exceptional per-match value a Caley Thistle season ticket now represents. "The careful financial planning of the board has enabled us to be in a position to agree the price freeze -- and we have a five-payment credit plan to help supporters who cannot pay the full season ticket amount up front." Manager Charlie Christie said:"Our fans have been terrific in our third SPL campaign and the management team and players are delighted at the price freeze." Les Kidger, chairman of the club's Supporters Trust, said:"This is an excellent gesture by the club and we hope it might give a lead to other SPL teams. The fans will greatly appreciate the price freeze." Season tickets -- both new and renewing -- will go on sale at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium next Wednesday at 10 am. Existing seats will be held until 4.30 pm on Monday, July 2, with released seats going on sale the following Monday. Some seat holders  will be moved to accommodate the new Singing Section which makes its debut in the Dunfermline game.
