Manager Charlie Christie was obviously delighted to have secured the three first team regulars on longer deals and said "I'm very pleased we have managed to re-sign these three boys, they have fully deserved the enhanced deals and they will continue to be an integral part of the Club over the next few years.  An important part of our Club is to have continuity and consistency and it's been the backbone of our progress and success for 11 or 12 years."

He went on to say that his attentions will now turn to players like Darren Dods, Mark Brown and Craig Dargo who are also out of contract at the end of the season "With these lads safely in the bag, we'll be stepping our talks with Craig Dargo, Mark Brown and Darren Dods to try to agree their deals" the

According to the official website, Graham Bayne (27) who has made 76 appearances for the club since signing in 2004 from neighbours Ross County had this to say about his new contract "The negotiations went very smooth, and it wasn't a difficult decision for me to make, Inverness is a fantastic place to live and play your football in".

Roy McBain (32) has made 240 appearances for the club since signing in 2000 - also from Ross County - and was equally happy to stake his future to the club "I am pleased to commit myself to the Club for a further two years, I have really enjoyed my time here and I hope we can continue to be as successful in the future."

Grant Munro (26) - a solid defender with 181 appearances - is the most succesful product of the Caley Thistle youth system so far and was recently tipped by Charlie Christie as a potential future captain of the club. He had this to say about his new deal "I am very happy to have signed an extended deal with the Club, the dressing room has such a great bunch of boys and it's a joy to come into your work here.  The season has gone so well already and I hope that we can continue that and improve in the future."
