Caley Jags offer 10-game Christmas bonus as the perfect Gift

Caley Thistle are playing Santa Claus by offering half-season tickets as the perfect Christmas gift for football fans -- and a prezzy which lasts right through to May.

ictpicManager Terry Butcher and Commercial Manager Darren Mackintosh were pictured giving a couple of youngsters their half season tickets at the stadium on Thursday 26th November to celebrate the 10 game half season ticket launch

Children aged 8 to 12 years can have a half-season ticket for only £13, that is only £1.30 per game -- which could be the ideal prezzy idea for parents, grandparents or relatives to give to a deserving boy or girl. Kids under eight are already allowed in free to matches under the club's commitment to 'family football.'

Terry Butcher said:"I think it's a great scheme and these half-season tickets really offer exceptional value for money. I hope many youngsters and not-so-young people end up with them in their Christmas stocking. It's an excellent solution for people puzzling what to give someone as the ideal gift.

"Half-season ticket sales will boost the club's income and help our plans for team strengthening in the January transfer window. It also gives more fans the opportunity to cheer us on as we step up our push to bounce back to the SPL by starting 2010 with a good winning run."

Commercial manager Darren Mackintosh revealed that as a 'festive bonus', the club will include the attractive home game with Dundee on Boxing Day in the half-season package, which would not normally begin until the New Year.

He added:"Adding the Dundee game, our chance to avenge the Alba Challenge Cup final defeat, greatly enhances the package, so it's a Christmas present from the club. The package then rolls out with the big Highland derby with Ross County on January 2 which should attract a capacity crowd. These top tussles make it a real value-for-money gift.

"Guaranteeing your friend or loved one a seat at these high-profile games over the festive season would go down really well -- and with eight further home games to come. So it's actually ten gifts in one.

" If we're chasing promotion, think of the pride the recipient will take in knowing they have the security of a reserved seat for a series of major matches."

"We're confident these packages will fill the recipients with Christmas cheer and will prove extremely popular. They're the gifts people will literally get a kick out of."
