Celtic increased their lead at the top of the table thanks to a last gasp victory over Hearts. Hearts had taken a deserved lead after 72 mins with Velicka scoring. However Jarosik equalised on the 86th minute and an own goal by Craig Gordon gifted Celtic the 3pts and another big step closer to the title.

There is nothing stopping Anthony Stokes, as he bagged his second hat-trick in as many games to help Falkirk defeat Dunfermline 3-0. The Republic of Ireland player has been called up to his countries B squad next week against Scotland.

John Collins 1st game as manager of Hibernian finished 2-2 against Kilmarnock at home. Both teams were leading at some point but a draw was about right. Motherwell and St Mirren produced a stalemate at Fir Park with John Sutton missing a penalty for the Saints.

Craig Levein’s first game as Dundee Utd manager on Sunday couldn’t have gone better. Rangers took the lead through Charlie Adam on 50 mins, but Rangers starting sitting back and Utd eventually got the equaliser through Gary Kenneth and secured 3pts with a late winner by Lee Mair. If Rangers fans thought this was bad, little did they know, they would lose at home to St Johnstone on Wednesday.

On Monday night, it was a northern derby with Inverness looking to beat Aberdeen for the first ever time. After a dull first half, the game livened up in the second and Caley Thistle deservedly took the lead through a header by Graham Bayne. All was looking good for 3pts until Steve Lovell scored a last minute goal with his knee as Inverness didn’t deal with the cross. Not bad attendance either!!

So after 13 games, Celtic are looking odds on to win the title after bookies have started to pay out. The relegation battle looks exciting as long as Inverness CT don’t fall into it which I don’t think will happen.
