Kilmarnock beat St Mirren 1-0 in Paisley thanks to another own goal by Kirk Broadfoot. On Sunday, there were 2 games. Even though Motherwell played the better football, Hearts stanched an undeserved victory at Fir Park thanks to a solo goal by Jamie Mole. In the other game, Rangers were outplayed by Hibernian live on Setanta. Chris Killen scored 2 for the Hibees as they claimed a vital victory by 2 goals to 1. Sebo got a consolation for the Gers. Both Killen and Bardsley were sent off. So, after 7 games, Celtic lead the chasing pack with 16pts and Motherwell are bottom with just 3pts. PLAYERS TO WATCH Ian Black (Inverness CT): The Scotland future-squad midfielder is a key part of the Inverness CT squad. Black was signed by John Robertson from Blackburn in 2004 and featured heavily for the reserves that season although was given his chance towards the end of the season with Brewster in charge due to some good appearances in the reserve league. He impressed in the first team and kept his place in the squad for the majority of season 2005/2006. A small player who can jump twice his height always shows 100% and has the ability to become a really good player. Recently signed a new 2 year extension with the club after Dundee Utd was after him during the Summer. Inverness have discovered a skilful player and has considerable talent for his age. Steven Naismith (Kilmarnock): Steven is a brilliant forward with a bright future ahead of him. Already been watched by Arsenal scouts, he will no doubt move down to England in the not so distant future. He hasn’t scored in the last three games although has scored against both the Old Firm already. A really hard player to play against and one Inverness CT will have to mark well in order to keep a clean sheet.
