Beat Killie and we are 11 points ahead with 12 points to play for.  Can't see them winning all four and us losing all 4.

Really unfortunately do not share your optimism after suffering that tonight.

Hopefully BW calls it as it was, fecking  awful.

What is with Hughes that he thinks Danny Williams can play as a lone striker terrible substitution again. Foran on the bench obviously not fit enough to play surely would have been the obvious replacement for Storey.

Andy Robertson moved to DUtd at 18 where a development fee was paid, where do you suggest ICT get that money from? We can't afford transfer fees, not even development. Additionally for every Robertson there is an Aiden connelly who moved in the same deal, where is he now, unable to make a struggling DUtd team - investments like this are a gamble and for and club with our limited finances not very viable.

I think you will find that Roberston was used as an example of what is available in the lower leagues of Scotland and how they can make the step up if given the opportunity.

But yet again it is turned into 'where do you suggest we get the money from'. Think the whole of Scottish football knows we have the 2nd lowest budget in the SPFL thay all have been told enough times by our management.

The reason we have to pick from England is they are largely unknowns and will see the SFPL as a stepping stone. Promising Scottish players from lower league clubs generally have other central belt clubs offering the same as we can and the players don't have to uplift families/move ALL to way to Inverness, middle of nowhere etc etc.

I am sure the likes of Gregg Stewart at Dundee and Andy Roberston when at Utd were 'unknowns' and they have successfully made the step up from part time football.

Not sure how the geographics and moving families ALL the way to Inverness fit in to though.

He should know he spent half of it on S**t players .

i understand he has the biggest budget of any Inverness manager and typical of football when things go wrong it is all down to "no money"

Yep, don't you know we have the second smallest budget in the SPFL as management at the club like to keep reminding us of. Becoming pretty tiresome actually.

  5. Maybe a change of strategy on recruitment. It worked exceptionally well for Butcher the lower leagues of England but maybe we should look closer to home. There must be a couple of decent players in the Lower divisions or Highland league who for one reason or another have been overlooked and with better coaching and full time training could make an impact. Surely we don'y always have to go scouting around Kendall Town and Kidderminster to find a player.

  6. He has been badly missed and his welcome return would mean that one of the best young centre halves Josh Meekings could take his place in central defence.

    Winner twice over.

Throwing caution to the wind chasing a dream results in what happened at Gretna Bankruptcy and playing amateur football. In 21years ICTFC has made a profit on less than 6 occasions so perhaps you could go onto the board and wave that magic wand to allow the funding of a dream everybody would love . Doubt the board wants to struggle like we have this year either!

Don't think we can ever be accused of throwing caution to the wind.

Why should winning the Scottish Cup and finishing 3rd be looked upon as a one off, we are an estabilshed SPFL team.

  8. Always seem to scraping around for finance, becoming tiresome does not inspire future fans or players.

Time for the board to step up and take the club forward instead of standing with their arms crossed feeling hard done by.

It was them after all that accepted only half of what Ryan Christie was really worth and not to mention the pittance we got for McKay and feck all for Shinnie . Need to manage contracts so much better.

  9. Another miserable Sat afternoon

Finished the game with no recognised striker on the park after replacing Liam Hughes with Danny Williams wtf is going on why no straight swop, for Foran.

Why the feck do we not have a recognised striker on our books and come to think of it why have we only 7 players signed up for next season wtf are the board playing at.

  10. To be honest think the criticism of the young guy Liam Hughes a bit OTT.

There is no doubt he struggled but to be honest who never last night.

No idea if he is a centre forward or not by all accounts he is a midfield player, although I am sure he has also come on and played fullback. As someone quite rightly pointed out he is just another long line of players being asked to play outwith their natural position, as was Foran who has not played upfront for god knows how long.

I hope the Hibs pump them after extra time and possibly penalties. Any County victory will largely be detrimental to us.

Agree a strong Ross County not good for us . Not enough support ,sponsorship, etc for 2 successful Highland clubs.

  12. Totally agree we should be looking closer to home to try and unearth a hidden gem. Who on earh scouted Dani Lopes and recommended him for the SPL when he was no where fit enough. There must be some raw potential in the Highland League, that with the right full time training could become a useful addittion to the Squad.

  13. Maybe we were doing an injustice to Russel Latapy and it was his influence and creativity that produced good performances last year.

Difficult to see where the next goal or win is going to come from, but we will never have a better opportunity than Saturday to rectify this with Hamilton at home.

I have to say that last night - as always - Richard Gordon and match commentator Liam MacLeod, who are both openly Aberdeen fans, were scrupulously "down the middle" in everything they said... as was ICT legend Barry Wilson who was summarising.

What get up my nose - and every club has them to a greater or lesser extent - are individuals like the impeccably named "Diddy" who, in the case of Aberdeen, positively ooze with Gothenburg Syndrome and tend to give that club a bad name for that reason. I actually quite like Aberdeen in that they represent another chance to take honours out of the central belt and in particular away from the Old Firm. However the likes of Diddy give their commendably enthusiastic and loyal support a certain reputation.

Absolutely do not agree  Richard Gordon called into question Ross Drapers integrity on national radio. Total abuse of his position in my book.

Absolutely awful coverage before and after the game listening to old man man Miller droning on about how superior 'The Dons' are in their title challenge.

I just tweeted Richard Gordon to ask what he means by "Ross Draper has a reputation for going down easily"???

Absolutely, national broadcaster has no right to  single out any player from any club, totally unprofessional sour grapes.

  16. Thought we under achieved to be honest. Never really tested them or put them under sustained pressure including set pieces.  They came for the away goal and got it but offered very little else, looked ordinary and we gave them to much respect.

Bizarre playing 3 holding midfielders in the centre, not one got forward to support Lopez leaving him totally isolated.

MoM... Easily Ryan Christie covered every blade of grass, totally committed ,great performance.

Positives ... Still got 90 mins to turn it around, maybe suit us a little bit more on the counter attack.
