Eh? The board have given the management team the biggest budget ever and broke into a rainy day fund to try and ease the injury crisis. It was Yogi who spent most of the time moaning about it and spending it on dross like Liam Hughes.
Rainy day fund ... Have you heard yourself, sounds like we keep our finances in a biscuit tin under the stairs.
We had our most successful season 12 months ago financially, yet this season we were still scraping around for players to bring in.

Maybe the Board, should also take a long hard look at themselves, hardly driven the club forward have they ?

It was not as simple as Miles accepting a better offer from Aberdeen
It would appear that Swindon Town his parent club demanded a development fee for Miles Storey Inverness were informed
Aberdeen paid that to Swindion which was excess of £200,000 Inverness were not williing or were unable to match that money
Mate, if we had cashed in on Tansey when we had the chance we would have been in a better place to negotiate with Storey or at least have the funds to bring in a centre forward. Lets be honest, central midfield is one place we are not short of options.

What you don't do is offer over £200 000 for a player that we have adequate cover for in the Jan window, as our management team prefer to let our best players go for free.

I wouldn't go as far as 'conspiracy' - I reckon it is probably just more akin in nature to a few other things that have gone on in the last few years
Just as well the club is not a business....

What really grates about this, is every season we get well and truly shafted, not St Johnstone, Ross County or the like only US.
Think Aberdeen are really taking the pxxsh and it is not a nice feeling.

Yet again Cameron and Hughes caught with their pants down, waiting for things to happen, instead of trying to make things happen.
We the supporters deserve better.

Let's not try and dress this up as anything other than another lacklustre home performance .
Hughes can talk all he likes about possession and ball retention but we were 3 nil down to a team that just been relegated , before we decided to get our finger out.
Only positive maybe Roberts scored one set up the other ,but JH tactical genius that he is took him off before the end.

Crowd announced as 2500 and that was being generous
-
Would certainly not lose any sleep if was to move on.
At the moment there is nothing but negativity coming from the club with regard to contracts , finances etc

Utter gash again this has to be addressed or their is no doubt the crowds will dip below 2000.
To go 3 down against a manager less team who had just been relegated less than 4 days ago is unacceptable by any standards .
Think the humiliation of David Raven was complete tonight ....leave him on the bench and bring on Danny Williams(fecking off to Dundee) Foran (probably completed 90 mins in the last 2 years) and Ryan Williams(played less than 10 mins all season).
awful night

Plenty of talk on who is leaving but absolutely feck all on who is coming in.
Really uninspiring stuff, just when the reminders are due in to renew Season tickets.

Hopefully not another summer of awful trialists and vague comments in the press about the lack of money then...
Think you have got it bang on.
Maybe time for the Chairman to stick his head above the parapet and re-assure us with his vision for the future.

Agree, the enthusiasm to part with nearly £800 to renew Season Tickets is most definitely not there.

7 players signed up for next season including Esson & Foran what is going on. How can they expect to market Season tickets on the back of that.
Something is seriously wrong at the club when you have only 5 first team regulars guaranteed to turn up for pre-season training which is probably less than 8 weeks away.

Surely you only let players go when you have a better options lined up, with Hughes I very much doubt that.
David Raven was not only a decent fullback, but a player a lot of fans had an affinity with.
No wonder we struggle with crowd numbers when popular players are moved out for no apparent reason.

Rival, just look at the clubs that are in the lower leagues and whom have been professional longer than we have, and be thankful.
'Be thankful' What a terrible statement that is.
We are an established top flight club, who need to set the bar a little higher than survival every season.

I agree very much Alex
We were playing a proper football team last night matched them toe to toe and think a point was a good outcome. Credit where it's due, not the players fault they work very hard.
Like to see Josh back alongside Warren asap though
A 'proper team' what does that actually mean. They looked a pretty average team to me, who were put under no pressure at all. A a terrible advert for the top tier of Scottish football, not helped by the over watering of the pitch, WTF was all that about.

How long has he left on his playing contract. Will he even be offered an extension, does he merit one.
Seen bigger club legends let go unexpectedly, Tokely, Wyness and Munro spring to mind.

Beat Killie and we are 11 points ahead with 12 points to play for. Can't see them winning all four and us losing all 4.
Really unfortunately do not share your optimism after suffering that tonight.
Hopefully BW calls it as it was, fecking awful.
What is with Hughes that he thinks Danny Williams can play as a lone striker terrible substitution again. Foran on the bench obviously not fit enough to play surely would have been the obvious replacement for Storey.

Andy Robertson moved to DUtd at 18 where a development fee was paid, where do you suggest ICT get that money from? We can't afford transfer fees, not even development. Additionally for every Robertson there is an Aiden connelly who moved in the same deal, where is he now, unable to make a struggling DUtd team - investments like this are a gamble and for and club with our limited finances not very viable.
I think you will find that Roberston was used as an example of what is available in the lower leagues of Scotland and how they can make the step up if given the opportunity.
But yet again it is turned into 'where do you suggest we get the money from'. Think the whole of Scottish football knows we have the 2nd lowest budget in the SPFL thay all have been told enough times by our management.

The reason we have to pick from England is they are largely unknowns and will see the SFPL as a stepping stone. Promising Scottish players from lower league clubs generally have other central belt clubs offering the same as we can and the players don't have to uplift families/move ALL to way to Inverness, middle of nowhere etc etc.
I am sure the likes of Gregg Stewart at Dundee and Andy Roberston when at Utd were 'unknowns' and they have successfully made the step up from part time football.
Not sure how the geographics and moving families ALL the way to Inverness fit in to though.

Frankly my friend I couldn't give a toss if you agree with my posts or not.
My concern is there is a distinct possibly that if we don't get our act together on and off the park we could end up playing catch up to Ross County.
