  1. An option in the middle of midfield would be josh meekings, he would be a ball winner and from what i have seen is pretty comfortable on the ball. The only drawback who would replace in him in the centre of defence.

For me Liam Polworth deserves a run defo not williams seems to lighweight

  2. Terrible game of football.

Created absolutely nothing lucky to come away with a point which looked very much the game plan.

We really need a plan b if we are to keep progressing we are so predictable at times , the diagonal ball out of defence did not work at all with the only spark being when Greenhalgh came on for the last 20 mins.

Billy Mackay looked a forlorn figure at times with absolutely no support wtf.

Draper & Meekings not bad , Doran really needs to up his game, looks really low in confidence at the moment.

    A bit more positivity please.

  3. Strange choice having williams centre mid he was really lost at times, is he not a winger. Draper however was inspirational at times carried the game forward. Would like to see Polworth given a run in Richies abscence.

Have to agree Doran has not performed in weeks needs a rest

  4. Terrible second half offered very little and sat to deep. Billy left totally isolated , had no outlet and looked so one dimensional at times. Stand out was the back four and foran.

Josh meekings just gets better. Doran wtf is going on with him looked totally uninterested ,when he had the ball always hit the first man, really needs a rest maybe try and earn his place.

Good result against a team i watched totally destroy us 4 0 earlier in the season tho

  5. Wtf was jones doing jogging alongside the du player and where the feck was graeme shinnie. Wrong tactic taking nick ross off wtf for sutherland really came on dived twice and lost the ball.

3700 biggest game could have made history Attendance a joke

  6. to be fair some terrible defending at set pieces that cost us dearly this has to be addressed.

Our set pieces where awful and carry no threat whatsover corner kicks constanly over hit.

    Positives to be taken

In open play I think you will find we where definetely not overun and created some good chances.

Meekings & Morrison both looked solid and certainly don't agee the two goals flattered us .

Special mention to the referee what a useless tool

Conned by Hooper more times than not includng the free kick leading to their third and why when Nick Ross is down and stays down he lets Celtic play on ?

  7. agree with annie mac.

since when has richie foran been a central midfield player, not so much a criticism but he arrived as a centre-forward and what we are lacking is a goal-scoring centre-forward why persevere with him in this holding role.

would really like to see morrison or nick ross in there alongside tansey but that's never going to happen is it ?.

  8. meekings the scapegoat for Butchers latest tactical farce, granted he wasnt great but where the feck was Hayes when he was getting roasted.

Was he not meant to be playing wide on the right offered little in the way of cover.

Thought Esson should have done better for at least two of their goals also.

  9. Execellent post Annie Mac.

Kenny G has been a revelation at centre half offering much needed pace through the middle. Not put a foot wrong including the tackle against the Pars, clearly played the ball.

  10. Have to agree with one major point Dougal makes. 'STAGNATION' off the field the club has made little or no progress since we first appeared in the SPL. The stadium is hardly welcoming is it .Maybe that's why we had only 1600 yesteday for the first home match since Christmas Eve. The 3rd or 4th lowest attendance in the Cup is embarrassing.

  11. Wrong tactics from Butcher. One up front five in midfield against the worst team in the league WTF. To be fair to Billy Mackay there was times when he had the ball and there was not a blue shirt near him, isolated was an understatement. If ever there was a time for Sutherland to get a run that was it.

Why show so much respect o a really poor Dunfermline team, was really expecing a performance yesterday but that was woeful.

  12. We are not talking about last season, we are talking about now, this season.

Accepted this might be harsh but nobody should be guaranteed a starting place on past performances.

Do we not think Tuffey should be given a chance ? This is not making changes for changes sake. We are struggling big time in defence and it needs to be addressed.

For what it's worth I agree Esson is an excellent keeper, but we need to stop conceding and if by having a different keeper that brings confidence to the back four then so be it.

  13. Really have to agree, Tuffey should be given a chance. Maybe a different communicator at the back might settle the back four.

At the end of the day we are bottom of the league and maybe the managers blind loyalty to certain players is costing us dear.

Foran was poor at Tynecastle as was Tansey again, maybe now is the time for the manager to make some difficult calls and utilize his full squad. ie Chippendale, Mckay, Sutherland etc.

We looked pretty stale on Saturday maybe time for a we shake up.

  14. have to agree with that, played against two different opponents in Hasselbank and Thompson, but did well. Deserves a run of games still not sure of best position though, maybe holding midfield

  15. agreed players are let go, usually when they have been in and out of the team all season and are not guaranteed a start. This is not the case here. Our first choice centre half who scores goals has been shown the door.

Do not agree either that while club captain his form suffered, any particular instances where this was the case?

  16. so when will find the real reason he was shunted out the door maybe at the same time they could tell us why the captaintcy was taken from him.

no way to treat an ICT legend who was getting better as the season drew to a close.

Butcher better have an ace signing up his sleeve as decent centre halves are not easy to come by just ask Neil Lennon(Mulgrew and that dodgy Swede)and Walter Smith(Weir 40 year old geriatric).

  17. Who was the guy up front for Hibs, no 16 or 18 I think . He was an absolute disgrace had no intention of trying to play footbal only trying to wind Rosscoe up. Amazed at Rosscoe's restraint. Has there been issues between the pair before.

Unbelievable that the linesman never saw anything.
