as far as i am aware - Yes

The reason I ask is that some have been offered P/T contracts. These may be in addition to the above.

Whilst looking to take the positives I know that some in the club have some reservations that a significant number of players have had to leave school to take up the contracts with limited football available after this year. Fine for those good enough to make a career but not so great as a fall back.

There is always a balance of risk for players making a career and not but I know a few players have left the club due to having limited choice between contract or school

whatever our recruitment policy is jr and his team seem to be doing a good job behind the scenes. i also applaud our youth dept in bring 10 potential players into the full-time environment and giving them the opportunity to mature in the hfl. it is however vital they get the appropriate level of coaching so i hope charlie christie is involved on a daily basis.

    Are all 10 full-time?

Agree with what you say on Charlie Christie as it's about time he started to justify at least one of the salaries he gets from being at Caley Thistle.

It should also be noted that credit for the development of these young players should go to Fiona and Ronnie who do all the work.

Baffled by the expectation that Charlie will be the solution? There are many such as Ronnie, as you note, who deserve any of the credit.

Went to renew online but they don't seem to have any option to do so. Hopefully it's there soon as it's a good idea to capitalise on the recent good form and get folk signed up for next season.

Think tomorrow is when this is available

Polworth is the second best player we have ever produced through our own youth system and although, like much of the team, his form has dipped on occasion this season, he is always fully committed and the team tends to do much better with him than without him.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion but I really don't understand the abuse that Liam gets from the stands and, far too often, on this forum.

    Agree!

The club has embarrassed themselves with this, apparently they were handed this as they walked into the ground..... superb welcome. Would be interesting to know what the target group for these was....

    Handed to them by whom?

I went to the away game at Livingstone in November and both sets of fans used one turnstyle and we were all in one stand with very little segregation. There was no bother just some banter.

    Not the case yesterday

I know they were sat there but they were adamant it was uncovered they must have been in the same frame of mind as the ref when their reality was distored due to the excessive amount of oxygen in the air away from the air in the central belt. Plus the two elderly stewards would have had no chance of stopping a fart in a paper bag much more than anything that happened between the fans. They were more concerned In accosting our fans for reactions to the livi fans. And when challenged by fans the stewards retreated down the stairs. Not a very good or safe set up. Needs to be looked at.

Agree. Appreciate that the club are looking at saving money by not opening the away stand but the approach of sitting away fans in among home fans (without some basic segregation) is not acceptable

Robbo sums it up there referees are unaccountable and nothing happens when they make a hash of it. Hence the standard of officiating in Scotland is poor. Further to that was on pie and bovril and the 30 livi fans that made it were moaning they had to sit in an uncovered section of our stand ? but also they were delighted to take a point. Does that not show that teams actually are now starting to see us as a threat? If about 30 livi fans made it that's a good number of home fans from recent games today about 2200. Hopefully people are starting to seep back after relegation.

The Livi fans were not in the uncovered section of the stand. They were sat in Lower F (albeit the roof does not provide much coverage to this).

Their seating was mixed in with Home fans which worked great(?) until they started gesturing when the scored and thereafter a few insults were thrown. I'm sure the couple of stewards in the area would have stopped trouble if it had kicked off (maybe...)

when you consider the objective of our youth development department and the exceptional return in our short history, it may now be appropriate to ask, in the interests of being open with fans, just how much the Club (not the sfa or sponsors) actually invests in this area and how much would need to be invested to attain the top level?

To attain Elite Level the costs are significant as is the wider infrastructure needs.

Even at progressive level there will be significant investment and, for example, there needs to be a full time coach for each age group (Warren and Tremarco are to be appointed I understand as part of the coaching team). The club are investigating ways to provide a number of the requirements through partnerships with High Life Highland for example.

There is a perception at least that the focus is not on having Elite level in the Highlands in any event.

Sorry do not agree missed another one on one again today could have changed the whole outcome.

He has had a consistent run and not achieved believe that now Oakley deserves game time. Not just the last 15 minutes either.

Did ok when he came on today not afraid of the physical stuff either , in fact the game was calling out for a more physical presence up front should have seen him earlier.

Don’t disagree that Baird is lacking but don’t see Oakley as the answer.

We need to bring someone in but unless Susan can be shipped this may be problematic.

Hang on, Yogi was crying in the press saying he wanted a bigger budget to push the club onto the next level. That's why he took the huff and put himself in an impossible position. Really, which level does he expect a club with 2000 hardcore supporters. Well down to Cameron for standing up to his nonsense. Deep down we all knew the success wasn't sustainable, however the rate of the decline was more of a shock. The timing of our success was excellent, it was masterminded at the same time whilst the Edinburgh clubs and Rangers were struggling. To finish 3rd or 4th in  the Premiership is much tougher than a few years back.

As he said in the aftermath of the Cup victory and in the middle of injuries "the club have tried to put away money for a rainy day but that day has come and they need to spend". As factual as it may be it clearly shows his intent for the club to spend
