  1. Absolutely no doubt. Some of the football has been shocking, the treatment of the fans unfair at times, but I love the club too much to stay away. Some of the football has been great too though, if theres another 3-2 vs Celtic next season, then those of you who aren't renewing your tickets will regret it :symbol_exclaim01:
  2. And that is saying something :015:
  3. You say here that it was Mike Smith, yet now it turns out that the guy you met on Tuesday was a different guy. Did the two different people look alike? Or have you never actually met Mr Smith? This whole fiasco is very bizarre. Although I've only met Mike a couple of times I was 100% sure it was him on Tuesday, although its now been revealed that wasn't the case... Im pretty sure it was Mike on Saturday though, as who else would have had the authority to remove the banner? Plus L_G had a meeting with Mike today regarding the banner and he knew what she was talking about. But then again, I had a brief discussion with the mystery man on Tuesday regarding the banner and he knew exactly what I was talking about as well :024: Very bizarre indeed. Maybe it really was Mike Smith and he's just telling porkies. Possibly, although I don;t want to throw that accusation at someone I don't really know, when I have absolutely no evidence, and also no reason to follow this up. :029: :029: :029:
  4. And TCF, why are you so determined that Barry gets a contact? :016:

  6. I must admit I'm being won over here. I'm calling an EGM with C4L regarding our plans...
  7. As far as Dennis is concerned, I am disappointed at this news but not surprised. Since Brew withdrew initial offer/Denzil's agent was a greedy barsteward/whatever actually happened, Dennis' future was always going to be elsewhere. Keep an eye out for my more "universally acceptable" banner at Saints game... As for Graham, 1 league goal this season. 25 appearances. Always 100% effort from him but doesn't put the ball in the back of the net often enough. :sillywave:
  8. Tell us about the fans shouting Golly's name fiasco Jay 7. I think I'll accept everyone's humble pie for this!!! Someone did do all the things I've said though. If not Mike Smith then I have no idea who. What was the outcome of the meeting regarding the banner? Mike will e-mail you directly with his response Excellent, thanks for all your time and effort :022:

  10. Same for me, Liverpool will always be #1 :004:
  11. If this is the case then 100% absolutely unreserved whole-hearted apology!!! I was sure it was Mike Smith, and even called whoever it was "mike", and he responded. He also said "i recognise you from saturday. :024: As I've said if this wasn't Smith, then Im extremely embarassed and can only offer sincere apologies, and thank Mike for taking it so well. Anyone else called "Mike" work at the stadium that would recognise me??
  12. Like the rest of the lads singing "big jock knew"? I don't see the relevance at ICT vs Gretna... Me supporting Liverpool is similar to Scotty's situation. He's moved to Canada, and started following Toronto FC. He can start supporting them, even develop a love for the club, but he could never give up supporting ICT, could you Scotty? Same with me. However much I love ICT I could never stop supporting Liverpool.
  13. Dont make me laugh. 3 League titles and no European Cups. Aye massive club... I do! Liverpool the local team to where I was born, ICT local to where I live.
  14. Your right, maths exam tomorrow :008: Past papers here I come :015:
  15. Not sure if I should post this in "Anything goes", so feel free to move this mods. I have been very harsh on the Supporters Trust since Saturday, and I wish to withdraw everthing I have said about them, and offer an apology. The behaviour of L_G has been much appreciated, and much of what I have said has been in the heat of the moment. Im very sorry, and am beginning to see what a good job you do for ICT's fans. Again, many apologies.
  16. I was under the impression that the supporter's trust was supposed to be looking after the supporters. If that is their job, their clearly not doing anything remotely like it and in any other industry would be sacked. Don't know how I missed this comment. Not sure how you go about sacking the Supporter's Trust. The board members are all volunteers, who are all busy people, but give up time to do the work of the Trust. One of our main priorities is raising money, hence the events, much of this goes back to ICT to improve something or to buy some new equipment and we have sponsored the street league this year with equipment and first aid kits. We also do speak to the football club on a monthly basis and discuss any issues that have arisen, or discuss future improvements etc. We do take the fans complaints to these meetings and have organised special meetings when there has been problems to sort. e.g the initial problems with the singing section. We met on the Sunday night to decide how best to deal with the issues. I wish I had seen this post before I arranged a meeting with Mike Smith on your behalf. I am giving up my personal time tomorrow morning to meet with Mike Smith to discuss whether or not he should have removed your banner. I really wish I hadn't bothered. :008: Admittedly that post was made in the heat of the moment, and without sufficient information. The post was made on the basis that memebers of the trust had condemned me for complaining about the removal of my banner. So it seemed that the Supporters trust was doing nothing for the supporters. However, I am immensley grateful that you have taken the time out to do this for me, and also that you invited me to the meeting on Monday as your guest. On the basis of that, I cheerfully withdraw my post :003: Many apologies.
  17. great news, good to see a decent team up for bazzas testimonial. are season ticket holders classed as a priority group? What about half-season ticket holders? If Mike Smith has anything to do with it you will be lucky to watch it from the bridge :tic01: :004: Indeed :009: :004:
  18. I agree with this However I also agree with this But also this :016:
  19. Plus I believe it was Sheffield United, not "Sheffield United XI". So a full strength Sheff Utd mabe equal with a second-string Liverpool side?
  20. If I've missed anyone obvious in the options let me know... I voted for Marius, top scorer and he kissed my flag :001: :001: I must admit though if it weren't for the celebration, I would have voted Don Cowie.
  21. I think I've got what I needed from this thread. The most popular single option was that people do not back Brewster, as I expected. However, the majority either back him, or are content with him in charge for the time being. As I said one of the justifications for me taking my Brewster Out banner on Saturday, was a recent vote on here, where the vast majority voted to sack him. I was definetly one of those people. But given the results of this poll, the Brewster Out banner will stay at home for the time being. :004:

  23. We were on a break :004:
  24. For a moderator, I think this is a very poor post. You haven't offered an opinion, given an explanation or contributed to the discussion at all. What was your point? If not then I'd have to agree that it's disappointing because if MS had taken that course of action then not only would he be sacked you could have him for assault :004: Hmmm... He probably should have... That would be problem sorted :004:
