Good listen. Mr chairman comes across well at times! However the comment where SG is best CEO is laughable, it was SG who leaked the WhatsApp and went in live radio to discuss it 🤷‍♂️. So 6 other chairman are lying about our plan. The fact we were the only club to vote no says it all.

It’s about time you cut our CEO some slack . From you first post on this forum to your last you have criticised him .

We never had any influence. We are a small club by any standards with one of the lowest budgets in the championship. And lets all not forget the clubs are business's at the end of the day. The bottom line is the bottom line. And money talks. Not "good will"

In regards to an inquiry. You think their should be zero accountability then? I think its very telling how all those clubs who accused us of lying on the same day voted down an inquiry (at no extra cost) to figure out the facts. And if the facts came to show that their was no impropriety of course we would have to accept it. We wouldn't have a leg to stand on then. You shouldn't be hoodwinked into believing what those with green tinted glasses say. From what i've seen our master plan was that we wanted to Null and void the season and deny our club £200K and then make baseless allegations against the SPFL Which we would then call for an independent investigation so it can all be revealed to be a massive fabrication on our part therefore doing immense damage to our club. Sounds about right....

The livingston statement today i feel had this spot on. Calling for an inquiry. But also lamenting the sham reconstruction talks. And then mentioning the afflicted clubs who lose out because of this. Namely the relegated clubs and those in play off positions. Who are all seemingly told to shut up and eat your cereal and get on with it. Because the real crime would be no promotion or relegation apparently?

Without doubt this has been the most shambolic era in Scottish football history . There are many things which have upset me but by far the most is the reaction by certain members on this forum ( before anyone tells me , I know they are all entitled to their opinions .) Every Tom , Dick and Harry in Scottish football  are lining up to have a pop at our club !!! And for what ? Because our chairman and ceo acted honestly and for what they thought was in the best interests of our club . It must stick in their gut when they see how some of their so called supporters perceive them .

  3. I’m a person who joined this forum 13 years ago and am also entitled to my opinion . Typical of this forum when someone says it as it is the moderators are onto it . Strange how our friend disappeared after my post !!! Tell you what  I’ll do the same .

  4. Who the hell do you think you are . You come onto this forum as a new member and do nothing but criticise what has widely been applauded as an excellent detailed statement from our club . We have acted with dignity from the start and both our chairman and ceo should be applauded for their courage and honesty . Anyone would think you have joined this forum for only one reason !!!

  5. What the hell do people on here expect . Conditions last night were horrendous and both teams deserve credit for their efforts . We competed well for 2 games against an spl club yet once again all we here on this forum is how poor we were !! Time for a reality check , we are moving in the right direction and hopefully this time next year we will be challenging for a return to the spl .

  6. THe 3 minutes applause sounds like a fantastic tribute to a wonderful player and captain ! I for one will be spreading your suggestion to all caley fans I know . I only hope the Aberdeen fans realise how lucky they are to get a player of his outstanding ability for free !!!

  7. What a bloody attitude !!! As I have said before inverness does not deserve the team we have . Constant negativity from both so called supporters and those who never bother going to a game !!3rd in the league and in the semi final of Scottish cup , aye I suppose that's a pretty poor effort for a club with such vast resources .Get a grip and get down and back our fantastic club !

  8. In my opinion the reason fans are staying away has absolutely nothing to do with our so called style ! Quite simply the Scottish public are bored with the structure of our game . Playing each other far to often leading to familiarity and as a result boredom ! If you analyse attendances in our division I think you will find we are far from unique in falling attendances !Only Aberdeen and newly promoted Dundee are bucking the trend .

  9. I find it incredible reading some off the posts regarding our so called style of football ! Unless I am imagining it we are joint top of the highest tier of football in our country ! If anyone had said this would be remotely possible 20 years ago they would have been insane . Virtually any club and their fans apart from Celtic would be over the moon with our achievements . Seems to me a lot of our so called fans would rather we were playing primitive football and struggling at the foot of the table like our near neighbours ! I have noticed recently a lot less activity on this forum and quite frankly I am not surprised as it is quite depressing the level off negativity been shown. Start talking your team up not down all the time and just maybe we could get the feel good factor back . The players and the club deserve so much more than than this constant criticism !

What makes you think that folk on here are not delighted that we are sitting top of the league?

It is interesting you say we need to get the feel good factor back. That presumably means that you think we don't have the feel good factor at the moment - isn't that exactly what some of us are saying? And the feel good factor is not going to return just because a handful of fans stop voicing their concerns on this forum, the feel good factor will return when people are excited by what they see on the pitch.

Saturday's win put us top of the league and yet we had the lowest Saturday home gate since we returned to the top flight. Why are people staying away? Why do you think that is? If you don't have an opinion then it is not exactly helpful having a pop at those who, with the clubs best wishes at heart, are offering their opinions.

  10. Do I have a problem because I have posted my opinion ? I am not a happy clapper and unlike a lot of others on here am a season ticket and have been since the start of our journey . All I say is people should be more realistic and back the team instead of always talking them down !

  12. Myself and a few mates were at the Cardiff Hull game last Saturday.

The Hull fans sang a simple song which we thought would suit us .

Replacing city with our name it goes like this

Cmon make some noise for the Caley Thistle boys

we want more more more , we want more more more

Cmon make some noise for Yogi and his boys

we want goals goals goals, we want goals goals goals

Repeat as often as you like .

As I say it is really simple but when you hear a couple of

thousand people singing it , it is very effective !!!!!!!!!

  13. does anyone have an idea of where we are with sales after its first week. I for one am buzzing and will be there with 6

Was in today getting 22 tickets and was told we have sold just over 1200 so far . Unless there is a big surge in the next week and a half  we could go down with a support far less than our team and management  deserve . The club have done virtually nothing to sell the match to people who do not attend matches on a regular basis . Surely we should be on Moray Firth radio trying to  encourage the local community to support the club as it tries to make history !!!!!! When our neighbours county were in their semi there was non stop coverage on both the radio and the local press ,which resulted in a fantastic response .

  14. So Mr Cameron was part of a board that had a strategy solely dependent on Rangers FC in the SPL? Meanwhile they put on an act of integrity to get people to buy season tickets, while all along the SPL clubs were fully behind Doncaster's stitch up? If that's how it was, then the other night might not be the last time this season I'm in Grant Street Park, but it might just have been my last Caley Thistle match!

To be brutally honest and I'm sure I'm not alone, it's very nearly the point of no return for Scottish Football for me regardless of what happens now. This afternoons vote should have been a line in the sand, an opportunity to try for a new start for Scottish Football, but instead it looks like the same old corrupt sh!te. Absolutely NO to SPL2 no buts!!

When are people like you going to wise up This is not a stupid little game we are playing here our clubs and others entire future is at stake .If all you big mouths would get down and buy season tickets instead off standing on the so called moral high ground our club maybe just might survive. It is easy to critisise our chairman when at least he is being honest .I really fear for our club when so many off our so called supporters see more interested in events outwith our clubs control.

    :furtive::pukeleft:

  15. Reading some off these posts makes my blood boil. Are we meant to be i c t supporters or what ?This threatening not to renew your season tickets unless our chairman votes against the newco is shameful .Regardless the rights and wrongs of the rangers fiasco we are supposed to be Caley jags fans and the true ones like myself who renewed mine 2 weeks ago will back the club whichever way they decide to vote . Seems to me that many off our so called loyal fans are looking for an excuse to jump ship !

  16. The club have given this man far to much time to make a decision. Who does he think he is ? There are plenty off players off his ability out there . [we released 1 in russel]. The offer should be removed immediately and we will see how many clubs are rushing to sign him. There are strong similarities to him and Brian Kerr and look where he has landed up. Arbroath !!!

There wasnt a single highlight of us with the ball in the first half wonder why?

We should have taken a point from that game, you see weak penalties given but that was a stonewaller, are refs too scared to give penalties against Hamilton now in case its deemed a conspiracy. Sutherland this time

Good God you sound like a paranoid Celtc fan . Stonewaller ? Not a chance , hardly an appeal from any of the players , never a penalty . We lost to the better , hungrier team , it happens get over it .

You must be blind you idiot . Watch the replay again and you will see quite clealy the defender blatantly pushes shane when he got in front off him. I can assure you i am not a paranoid celtic fan.

  18. No team has looked outstanding this season in division one - least of all ours. It's a sad indictment of Scottish football in general. Have we been great over this season - no. Latterly, have we been great at grinding out results? Yes. I've thought since 2009 we were going to win the league. The 1-1 game on the 26th of December confirmed to me my thinking. More recently, I watched Dundee draw with QoS draw 1-1. Dundee that night were poor and as a result of that I posted a thread entitled 'we've won it'. Not being big-headed, but after watching that game on telly, I didn't think that ICT looked any better than either of those sides (it was a great game to watch) but I felt we were and remain much better at grinding out results. The performances this season haven't excited me. Far from it. I remain concerned about next season. Not from where we will end up in the league, but what we will have to watch week in, week out. All of this 'I believe' and get behind butcher and 'let's make some noise' won't make any difference over the long haul. Things need to change.

You are unbelievable m8. What the hell do you want and expect from your team? We have won the league on our own merit not because other teams are rubbish and have gifted it to us. At the start off the season it was widely recognised the first div was the hardest league to win. Well, we have just done that on the back off a fantastic unbeaten run off 19 games inc winning the last 7 on the trot.We are champions on merit and have nothing to fear from the s p l . I for one cant wait , bring it on.
