Well i don't like you i absolutely loathe you. You incompetent waste of money. You are the worst thing that has ever happened to this club. :rotflmao:

    Brew out now!!!!!!!!!

I agree that Brew has to go but your comments go too far and are unreasonably personal. He is a decent human being with a great record as a player and a useful record as a player-manager. Unfortunately he is no manager (at least at SPL level).

He should have been replaced before Christmas (as I said at the time in another post). However, the Board have dithered and it is now too late to turn things around. We are past the point of no return.

The only positive I can take from this situation is that it will be good to have meaningful derby games against R*ss C**nty once again (that is if they don't get relegated to Division Two this season).

No it is not to late . How many times have you seen clubs get a new manager and their results pick up right away. We have more than enough quality players to stay up if they were given the proper motivation. What on earth is it going to take for our board to sack this totally incompitent management team. If we were to get relegated do they realise how many other employees of the club would have to be paid off. No other club would accept this run of results and level of performance.

  2. Despite some promising dealings in the transfer market the matter of bringing in an experienced striker still needs to be addressed.

No matter how much Brewster tinkers with the rest of the squad we will still be in serious trouble unless we can secure a proven goalscorer.

Why the hell would we bring in another striker . We already have 4 on our books and our manager only ever plays one at a time . As long as he is still here there is no point as he is obsessed with this 1 up front system which has brought him so much success! We have capable strikers, if he would allow any 2 from 3 to form a regular partnership. Off course that would be like admitting you were doing something wrong and i have yet to hear Brewster accept the blame for anything to do with our current prediciment.

  3. after reading your comments BBB, I'm starting to thiink you are a regular on this forum using a new user log-in to wind people up.

That, or you are Malky, Craig, one of the board or perhaps a close relation/friend to one of the said threesome.

It's amazing you haven't spoken out previously of your support for brewster when the sh** hit the fan at the start of 2008...

What you must realise is that, aside from a small number of hotheads on this forum the wind from the so called "fan" is pretty non-existent. I felt no need to educate you previously - perhaps I am just being charitable.

I won't stick around long - no doubt I won't be given the chance to as I am aware that those disagreeing with the lynch mob tend to get thrown off here.

Hey mate . I would like to ask you one question. How many times have you watched our team this season. Judging by your remarks not very often. The lynch mob as you describe us are loyal fans with the clubs best interests at heart.I WOULD PROBABLY THINK THE MAJORITY OF US WERE AT YETERDAYS GAME,WERE YOU. Brewster has not got a clue, yes we got a result against a very poor Partick side, but if you think playing 1 up front at home to lower league opposition is acceptable then you judgement is as bad as his.

  4. Esson

    Tokely Proctor Munro Hastings

    Mcbain Black Duncan Vigurs

    Cowie

    Barrowman

You are as bad as Brewster m8. You are saying we should play 1 up front at home to a 1st div club . What the hell level are we now reduced to.

  5. Now I know who is likely to be in and out of the team for Sunday, I'd go with this:

    ---------------------------------Esson------------------------------------

    -----------Proctor----------------Duff------------------Munro-------------

    --------------------------------Hastings----------------------------------

    ---Tokely-----------Duncan------------------Vigurs--------------Imrie-----

    -------------------------------------------Djebi-Zadi----------------------

    ---------------------------------Rooney-----------------------------------

Subs - Fraser, Wood, Zander, McBain, Barrowman, McGuire, Kerr (returned from loan spell at Elgin)

My god what planet are you on.Brewster must have really got to you with a selection and formation like that.

  6. St Mirren - 4-4-2 changed to 4-3-3

    Aberdeen - 4-5-1 changed to 4-4-2

    Motherwell - 5-4-1 changed to 5-3-2

Is this a new record for the most changes in formation in a 3 game period?

Is it any wonder that our players are running around without a clue what the plan is?

Tactics the man does not no the meaning of the word. He was not happy with playing 1 up front today he then slips in an extra defender and for good measure plays a defensive midfielder in Macbain. The only tactic he knows is to send out his teams with damage limitation in mind. Even at half time today when he made his change, what does he do , takes of a midfielder for a striker when surely any other manager would have hooked one of the back 5! Its getting to the stage when im not sure how much more of this i can take.

  7. Woah, slow down guys, we have been screaming for contact from the club and given that the email campaign was only started up little over a week ago this statement has been released a lot quicker than I, for one, expected. It also goes further than I expected in "we" the fans are mentioned, we complained about getting copied and pasted replies to our mails but I think this statement from the club shows they are taking our concerns seriously. Let's hope that they are still considering the removal of CB. let's also hope that the extra money is used to tempt Cowie and Black to stay.

This is a typical response i would expect from our board . One thing i can assure them is there is absolutely no way i will be renewing my season ticket next season if Brewster is still our manager. This is no idle threat and i can assure the board i am one of many who will take the same action.Season ticket sales this year already took a substantial drop and once you lose these loyal fans it is rare to get them back.

  8. As most of us know Proctor is a right back, he is unlucky in that respect because we have a right back already.

He is a 'favourite' of Brewster so is found a position in the team. He is way too small (in height and build) to be a centre back, but then again so is McGuire. For me Duff at least has the physique to be a centre-half .

Then again you could also ask - Why was Duff played at right back? Why is Cowie played on the left? Why is Imrie played on the right, Why was Vigurs played in a holding role rather than Duncan? Why was McBain played right-midfield? etc, etc, etc.

Brewster has so many ludicrous tactical decisions it is almost laughable....almost :rotflmao:

Good post m8, you know you football.

  9. I gave you all on here the exclusive that Juanjo was going to have a trial with ICT and County back in April.

I was first to tell you all on here that ICT were trying to/tried to get Darren Dods back in August. I posted the news on here before all you die hards or even the press knew a thing about it, my sources are good.

Now again I'm on here posting some news. Apparantly Brewster has offered to walk away as he feels he's lost the dressing room. He has been told he has funds to spend in january but is considering his future - RIGHT NOW. The only thing I'm not sure is if the club have asked him to consider his decision or whether HE said he would take a few days to think it over.

If Brewster has offered to walk away as you say and the board have not accepted it with immediate effect, they should all stand down as office bearers of the club, as they are duty bound to act in its best interests.

  10. I'm sorry to have to say this but the partnership of Craig Brewster and Malkie Thompson is not working. Players being played out of position. Defensive football at home when we should be controlling our own park. Nonsensicle substitutions. Laying the blame at the feet of players who we all know are more than up to the challenges of this league. That coupled with getting rid of players who would be keeping this team together is destroying the club.

Morale among players and fans is at an all time low. results are pathetic. Play is non-entertaining. The team has lost all direction.

Is the board of this club going to act in the best interests of the club and its fans or have you all decided that part time football in front of 300 each week is what's needed in Inverness.

Please, please, please!! Act correct and act now.

I agree 100% Alex. The board need look no further than the north stand at kick off and at full time to realise what Brewster is doing to our club. For the 3rd most attractive home game it was not even 2 thirds full and at full time barely a couple of hundred people were left. This man will not resign as he shows a total arrogance and total disregard to anyone elses opinions. He must be removed even if it means putting a new manager in on a temporary basis until the end of the season when the position could be reviewed .PLEASE ACT NOW BEFORE ITS TO LATE.

  11. Wyness, there was a time not so long ago when I'd get slagged on here for trying to be positive and pro Brew. Think I'm waking up now cos I smell coffee.

I'm not so much pro-Brew as anti-lynch mob.

I don't believe in criticising unless a realistic alternative can be suggested.*

Brew does a decent job under difficult circumstances.

He, like the team, would probably do better with some support.

He is immeasurably better than his predecessor.

(*and please don't all reply with your fantasy realism)

How can you call yourself Wyness Legend. You come on this site and support Brewster , does your memory not stretch back far enough to remember how you namesake DENNIS was treated last season. Of course he along with others was deemed not worthy of a contract. Waken up to what is happening to our club.

  12. There is a great deal of inconsistency in the SPL - amongst ALL non-OF teams.

There is no reason to suppose that we can't be looking towards a top six finish.

A positive support would certainly help.

The criticism of the management and board from this small and unrepresentative

    sample is, at times, ridiculous.

(Scotty, please don't respond to the "small and unrepresentative" comment with your usual stats)

Scotty may not respond but i will. You my friend are in the minority . I can assure you i know a very large cross-section of i.c.t. supporters and by far the majority are for change. I suggest you go back into your own little world!

  13. Is Craig Brewster to blame for Caley's bad form?

Is the board nothing to do with this situation??

Get a grip guys and gals and look at the bigger picture.

Where's the investment in the club? If a manager has very little financial resources to work with does he have to rely on being a miracle worker?

Dargo and Wyness both now at St Mirren. Why? Money.

The people in charge are merely running ICT as a business and have no alturistic interest in the club or moving the club forward and upwards.

Is Brewster to blame? YES. The man is quite simply ripping the heart out of our club. The players completely lack confidence due to a complete lack of continuity in both team selection and tactics. He has regularly chosen to both ignore and critisise the very fans who are the clubs lifeblood. His own arrogance and refusal to accept even part of the responsibility for what is happening beggers belief. We must act like Dundee United did when faced with a similar situation. SACK HIM.

  14. Speaking to a man outside the ticket office at the reserve game yesterday, he revealed that he works within the deep cavern of commercial within ICT, and has seen a certain Gary Mulligan's name mentioned. Apparently he will be taken on trial for a week with a view to signing him in January. A former Irish U-21, he has so far scored 2 goals in 8 appearances this season for Gillingham.

According to the unofficial forum, he is a pleyer with drive, passion and a great finisher. He has found himself slightly frozen out this year, and would be open to a move to the big metropolis of sneck.

    thoughts?

I keep hearing about signing a striker in January. Who in their right mind would come here at the moment . We already have 4 strikers and 3 of them spend the majority of their time warming the bench. Until we get a manager who will give the existing forwards a chance to shine i would not let Brewster waste any more of our clubs finances.

  15. To be honest, ide rather see him play out the rest of the season and finish at that, but everyone - regardless wether Bazza can play or not - would go against ANYTHING in what Brewster says, it's just what everyones nature is now a days, and it's rather poor. People need to learn to let go, obviously he's a club legend.. but that doesn't mean he has to be tied playing for us untill he gives up.

Barry is contracted until 19 january. Are you saying after his service and worth to the club, we could not have the decency to give him another 4 months. Apart from anything else his experience could have proved invaluable in our fight against relegation.

  16. beats me what Mr Brewster and his side kick Thompson(the noddy dog) tell the big boys on the golf course all the next week, the last thing mentioned will be

    1. I haven't got a clue, no I mean it I haven't a clue
    2. I'm good at man management you know, so Wyness and Bayne said, way too much experience up front there anyway.
    3. It was the ref that spoiled it playing offsides and no 3 corners a penalty.
    4. It was the weather you know too nice.
    5. Not enough home support today, can't understand why the fans are dwindling, it's not like we win every week.
    6. That Proctors definately cut out to dominate the box as a centre half, it's like watching Roy Aitken.
    7. I'm sure Jamie said he played at right back in primary 7.
    8. What you can play the same forward from the start 2 weeks on the bounce, no way.
    9. I'm sure you're only allowed to play 1 up front at home, until the other team scores that is, at least we always finish with 2 up front.
    10. When we are getting beaten 1-0 at home with 20 minutes to go I told blackie to walk of slowly in a huff when I substituted him, he's a fine team player. He loves training with the under 19s.
    11. I told the boys if you are playing well you can definately get in the showers before everyone else, by at least half an hour.
      Brilliant mate.
    12. High ball IS the future.
    13. I've got lots of UEFA certificates you know, look what a good manager I am.
    14. How many certificates have you got Malky, have you ever failed any.
    15. I'm brilliant at talking to the media you know, second only to explaining myself to the fans.
    16. I'm so worth a new contract.
    17. More money, I'm worth every penny.

    4 WINS A YEAR..............what a manager, offered a new contract..........what a football director

    Feel free to add more.

    BRILLIANT MATE.

  17. ....has, by all accounts, been told that he will not be offered a contract extension in January.

Disgraceful way to treat a great club servant. Sadly it is no surprise considering how others in the recent past have found to their cost .It is not as if he was asking for charity, on the rare occasions he has played this season he has let nobody down.It defies logic when we gave a 6 month contract to Patelinen who had cruciate ligament problems with no prospect of playing before xmas yet cannot see fit to keep a fully fit Barry until the end of the season.

  18. Eh? so why cant they play at home? the players dont take any blame??? Imrie was gash today, Vigurs didnt look interested and Cowie looked like he is away in January.

The manager played two players in the wrong place, Proc should have been RB and Duff should have been next to Granty.

He cant be blamed for the shyte performance from midfield, the midfield that did so well against Killie and Celtic.

Hey mate , when were you released from hospital? How can you possibly come on here and defend our manager then proceed to critisize players who are asked regularly play systems and positions unsuited to them. One last question . Are you Brewster in disguise!

  19. I find this all so disheartening. The heart really appears to have disappeared from our club. No matter what kind of post you put on here someone is always ready to take a swipe at you.

From my perspective that was an average home performance, we played terrible and lost. We played with players in wrong positions, Cowie was utter mince, if he thinks he's walking into a top six team with perofrmances like todays then he is very wrong.

Barrowman didn't score again. But then has he really been given the chance, he has only started 2 or 3 games this season, but yet he is (like wood) the inexperienced player who should be feeding off an more streetwise striker, should we expecting so much from him? The fans round about me were screaming abuse at him like everythings his fault. Granted he didnt score but i dont recall him having many if any opportunities, yes his passing and ball distribution was poorbut then so was proctors, duncans, imries and cowies.

Curiously Brewster has decided not to play Barrowman for the majority of the season, yet the week following Barrowman's newspaper story about not getting a chance he is in the starting team. Wood has been the chosen striker for Brewster to favour but finds himself dropped, and Rooney the classiest of all 3 hasn't featured for long enough.

Am i alone in thinking we missed Tokely today? We had no attacking threat on our right hand side at all today as Brewster chose to play Proctor (a right back) in the centre of defence and Duff (a centre half) at right back, which led to Duff being put in many uncomfortable positions as he obviously isn't used to being an attcking threat.

The only attacking players we had today were Imrie, who brewster subbed first and Hastings. He then put Vigurs (left footed) on the right and Cowie (right footed on the left). The second we are in trouble Brewster then surprise surprise puts on a second striker. The difference was clear for everyone.

Brewtser was in the paper this week asking for the fans to get behind the team and asking us to understand why he persists in playing one up front.

In my mind Brewster has to go. Regardless of who comes into replace him. But to offer him a new deal is in my mind ludicrous. I am fast becoming disinterested in the football and today found myself wanting to be anywhere except down the longman. The kids i take have dropped in number from 13 to 6, my father missed his first game in years. This is simply due to the quality of football on display.

On the other hand though, is it a disgrace to get beat 3-1 by the team in 3rd place?

To be honest I dont really care anymore.

Thanks for that post mate. I was beginning to think i was some sort of freak and had been at different games to others. I agree with everything you have said and for the first time ever i would have left the stadium with 20 mins to go if i had transport. If our board do not take some sort of action i shudder to think how many people will renew their season tickets for next season. Bear in mind this season they have already dropped below 2500.Finally can anyone tell me if Brewster has ever once admitted to getting team selection or tactics wrong? I think not his arrogance is beyond belief.

  20. I can't believe you have spelled Vigurs wrong twice.

Of the three changes, one is enforced, Proctor for Tokely, thats a stick on as Tokely is suspended. Hastings plays central defence for Canada. And Lionel is a left back. It is a choice between him or Roy McBain for left back. Tomorrow I am giving Lionel a game. It's my choice and thats why I typed it.

Where is your choice oh wise roby? I don't see it on this thread.

    [/quote Esson

    Proctor Duff Munro Hastings

    Cowie Black Duncan Vigurs

    Imrie Rooney

  21. Just been on North Today that ICT have opened contract talks with Brewster. It will be a long time before i go to another game by the looks of it!

    BAD MOVE! :thumb04: :rotflmao: :018:

Is it not so strange . Certain players past and present are regularly told they have to wait until the last minute to prove to our manager they are worthy of a new contract, yet we are preparing to offer the man who could quite possibly get us relegated for the first time in our history an extention! Only I.C.T. sanction that. I suppose there would also be extentions for the dynamic duo Thompson and Garden. God help us!

  22. Unless something drastic happens to the weather tonight the game will be on, forecast is cloudy with light showers... mind you the told us to expect a lot of snow yesterday.

Saw the weather forecast for tommorow and it is looking good . Best day of the week forecast with no showers and i would be amazed if there was a postponement.

  23. ---------------------------Esson---------------------------

    Proctor----------Munro------------Hastings-----------Zadi

    ---------------------------Duncan---------------------------

    Cowie----------Black----------------McBain----------Imrie

    ----------------------------Wood------------------------------

    Duff

    Rooney

    Barrowman

    Sutherland

    Fraser

I cant believe you could be serious with your back 4 . 3 changes 2 off them positional and the inclusion of Zadi is a joke.To also leave out vigours at the expense of Macbain also baffles me. Have a look at our results when Vigours has started in place of roy and i think you will then realise his importance to our midfield.
