New manager thread (merged)
Or we could show some ambition and not just go for the easy choice? And Wilson as assistant, that's what we need in a relegation battle. Someone with less experience than Brewster! Great idea

Cowie interview in Courier
Wouldn't surprise me to be honest

Cowie interview in Courier
My thoughts entirely! Overachievement would be winning the title, champions league, scottish cup and league cup in the same season. Anything less is not!
-
Cowie interview in Courier
He said in Sunday's paper that we were suffering because we had overachieved the last few years. If he thinks 8th place is over achievement then I would question his ambition

1st Division (one year only!).
If we go down then we'll never come back up. I'm beginning to wonder if the board actually want us to go down.............
-
Cowie interview in Courier
Do you blame him? He'll get an SPL club and we'll get the derby back next year

Time for Action (Merged)

Tangoman plays mind games

A Little Christmas Game for you
Unless you were present at this alleged "one-to-one" meeting, then I would urge you (and anyone else) to be quite careful about making comments which cannot be backed up by fact. Feelings may be running high on this "board" but it is my opinion that the other "board" of which we speak is also watching comments on here quite closely ... And? They can do what they like, but why does it matter that they're reading a public forum?

Happy Birthday Craig!

Team for Burnley
I agree that some of the defending required a desperate hoof up the park but there were several occasions when a pass was on but it was just thumped up to no-one in particular. Munro seems incapable of a short pass in the game, with aimless thumps his preferred choice. Tokely was a shocker for both goals and I'll agree he didn't look like he was interested. Hastings had a shocker in my view, what he was doing at the second goal I do not know. First of all Tokely and Cowie(?) win the ball from the Burnley winger, only for Tokely to give it straight back to him. The cross comes in to the back post where Hastings appeared to fall over and let Burnley in. The whole team should be embarrassed! Going forward, the only thing we could muster were shots from 35 yards which had no danger of troubling the keeper. Barrowman's goal was the result of them fannying about at the back and not something we did. The complete lack of pace is what concerns me the most, there is just none in that team.
