  1. People who never have anything positive to say!

How some people can go through life being totally negative all the time is really quite sad.

And also bad loser managers ( Mr Collins I mean you) take your defeat on the chin and dry your eyes you were beaten fair and square yesterday.

  2. I think if we can muddle along with the players we have until the January window, and dependant on results and league position ,we may not have to change the squad to much.

I know we are a bit light defensively but other than that I don't think we should change the squad to much.

A few players could be put out on loan and if there are players desperate to leave, then try and get some money for them first and then get them off the wage bill asap.(we don't want another Dargo situation)

If we can get a wee run of form there is no reason for us not get into the top six.

BREW- "See this magic egg coming out of the ground, well if all the players eat a wee bit then we will start to win all the time"

Parkie- " Thats it I'm aff your as mad as a brush, not only do you wear your shorts too tight you also believe in magic eggs!

  4. Is it just me or does anyone else feel that we are rather weak when the ball is in the air ie most other teams we seem to play win more than their fair share of high balls against us.

Which brings me on to my next point, why do we persist for long spells of games in playing the long high ball ? We seem to miss out the midfield for long periods, which is really frustrating as I know we can play some lovely football with the ball on the deck(as witnessed against Hearts and Falkirk)

Any views from the masses ?

  5. From the main ICT Web site.

Tommy Cumming has been named as runner up for the 2006/7 season Scottish football groundsman of the year.

The section was won by the Falkirk groundsman and the Celtic Groundsman got nominated also in a short list of three.

Well done Tommy! I always think the park looks brilliant even with the SPL trying to ruin it with undersoil heating.

  6. I think Tokely peaked a couple of seasons ago imho and him getting dropped for a period of time may do the team no harm(well it can't get much worse can it ??!!)

But if Proctor comes in and does well, I fear Rosscos time could be numbered, as Proctor seems to be Brews "blue eyed" boy and he may find him really difficult to shift from the starting eleven especially if he plays well.

    Interesting times ahead methinks  :024:

  7. Duncan ,I'm sorry but any one who does not have him as the first name on the team sheet shows an obvious lack of football knowledge and tactics. The man probably breaks up more opposition moves than any other player in ICT history and his work rate is second to none.

Wyness, if he gets the ball to his feet with his back to goal 9 times out of ten something positive will happen wih it.

Don Cowie, what a revelation he has been,he never stops for the full 90 mins and is probably the fittest player I have ever seen.

Marius, the man has class this we can all see but everyone seems to be making a big issue about his lack of goals,I personally would not be bothered if he never scored a goal for the rest of the season ,as long as he continues to set up chances as he has been, and Denzil and the rest just have to put them in the net for him, then I will be a happy bunny for the rest of the playing term.

  8. What about trying Bayne at the back ?!!

I seem to remember sutton playing at the back for Celtic and doing rather well! ( and lets face it, he could not be much worse than whats on show at the moment)

It could also be a kick in the backside for the current defense, and give them a bit of a jolt and put them back onto their game.

5.Riva 4-6 Ness Walk ( Italian, have not been in a while but used to be very good)

6.rocpool reserve Culduthel road ( if you want mega Brownie points take your missus here probably the best place to eat in Inverness, quite pricey but worth every penny)

  10. An Irish women is walking down the street with her blouse open, exposing one of her breasts.

A nearby Guard approaches her and remarks, "Madam, are you aware that I could cite you for indecent exposure?"

    "Why, officer?" asks the women.

"Because your blouse is open and your breast is exposed."

"Oh my goodness," exclaims the women, "I left my baby on the bus!"
