I agree. Daniel McKay is going to be some player and will, no doubt, move onwards and upwards to further his career but it will be a privilege to watch him develop and would be great if when he left it was after helping us back into the Premiership and for a seven figure fee.

Daniel McKay reminds me so much of a young Charlie Christie he even runs in a similar fashion

You know, I've taken half an hour to reflect - by no means for the first time in recent months, but today through the medium of this individual thread - on where CTO seems to be going, in particular since relegation. The unfortunate conclusion is that it simply isn't the same vibrant and constructive medium that it was when I first joined in the early 2000s, and in particular the feeling that everybody was in this journey together seems to have gone. This isn't a sudden observation on my part, but more a "next step" in an ongoing process. Consequently, and this is a conclusion come to at considerable length, not just this morning, I think I'm going to give contributing to CTO a miss from now on. Quite frankly, it's lost its allure for me and I'm sure I can find some other means of engaging with ICTFC.

I don’t blame you for getting pi##ed of Charles. A lot of posters just want to sling mud at each other or slag of ITFC . Come back soon we need positive posting and less pessimism .

We have previously compared the atmosphere between crowds at Rugby and Football and many of us would like to see non segregated crowds become the norm in football.  The recent arrangement in the main stand is a small step towards that.  The issue here is one of respect.  Supporters of both sides have to respect that supporters of the other side feel the same about their side as we do about ours.  The dynamic that can create helps to lead to more friendly banter and more competitive vocal support.  It can enhance the whole match day experience

What destroys this is those who demonstrate a lack of respect and who poison the atmosphere with obnoxious and threatening behaviour.  There should be zero tolerance of this.  Clearly the stewards have a role here but so too do supporters of the same clubs as the morons showing the lack of respect.  They need to make it clear that such behaviour is not welcome by the majority of fans the morons purport to support..

I didn't witness the incidents mentioned here but I entirely agree with Kingsmills.  Had the stewards done their job I am sure we wouldn't be having this conversation.

The next Glasgow derby should be fun if they introduce this idea ⚔️⚰️????

Going back on topic  I hear that we are looking to sign Ian Morris from Bohemians with a view to re-introducing an Austin Morris combination up front.

As opposed to Bell and Baird who invented the phone and tv

The way I remember it, it was MacGillvray who was at the wheel when the club ran up crippling debts that could not be sustained and would have ended ICTFC less than 10 years after it started.

He then went to support Ross County and, having fallen out of favour there for trying to stick his nose in, has now come back to do the same here.

Bit rich for him to be playing the 'best interests of the club' card. Are people really trusting the words of a man with that history?

Hopefully lessons have been learned from past mistakes so let us just move on and let them all get together and sort out the mess

Did he not do that at least twice, at C##nty and East Fife?

I have been told on good authority that the players won't play for him and that Terry Butcher is waiting in the wings to take over. It just gets worse!

The board has let the club down appointing a manager out of the game for as long as Robertson has, acquisitions have been very poor and players kept on are not showing their seniority in the squad.  Genuinely think we will be lucky to stay up at this rate.  Change is needed sooner rather than later!

The board's ludicrous "give the manager's job to someone who didn't even apply" experiment has failed. Robbo is a good guy but he is not what we need - the defence needs sorted out first and foremost and he is not the man to do it. The coaches can pack their bags as well.
