A name I have just seen at 12/1 on a betting site, and a name I've not heard mentioned on here yet is Steven Presley. I'd imagine he won't be everyone's cup of tea and he has failed miserably down in England but you could argue that he was a success at Falkirk.
I understand the point ICTChris was making earlier, regarding analytics etc. However Presley was manager of a club who had just been relegated, lacking in funds, has a similar support to ourselves and he managed a win ratio of 43%.....
Worth a shout? Just a genuine question, wondering what other people's views on Presley are

Lots of Moody red and blues about at the moment

Using a boxing analogy the current board are still in the Sutherland blue corner and Alan Savage is in the red corner. It would be good if they could unite ( no chance ) . After all the red and blue managed to amalgamate once before.

We will lose this game, absolutely no doubt about it.
All thsi stuff about how much it means, huge game, fight for it. It's meaningless. We aren't good enough. We continually present the opposition with goals and can't score goals ourselves.

I have heard Fon Williams has a clause in his contract that he can be released if we are relegated.
I would imagine others may also have this if they have an agent with a brain.
Please let this be true

I have a feeling of De javu I keep seeing the same post over again. Could be the drink.

Turns out it was a problem with the tannoy system. Someone understood what the guy was saying. But don't worry it will be back to normal for todays game where you have to guess what he is telling us over the top of some weird music.

Well done ICT we were unlucky not to get all 3 points. The first half was terrible from both teams but we were on top for most of the second half. Not getting the second goal when we were on top cost us the game. County took their one chance and we missed ours. Of the bottom is a bonus so now we have to beat Killie as our next challenge . A special well done to the young fans behind the home goal I am sure you gave the team a lift with your singing for 90 min . Like many I was gutted to loose a late goal but I thought we played ok and I am still optimistic we can stay up.

Maybe the club saved Esson for the important relegation battle ahead.

Standing/staying still while talking is quite an unnatural thing, so it's not at all uncommon for people who aren't used to speaking on camera to sway/move around. We've had instances that were so bad that we've had to restart the interview with a wider shot because they've gone off camera
Are you suggesting that Scott is to wide to fit in the shot

OFW has cost us a goal most weeks so Esson had to get a chance. I don't think he could have stopped either goal but I have to admit his dead ball kicks are poor. At half time I would have taken a draw so can't complain. This is the first game for a while where our strikers actually looked like they could score a few goals.

Worst riot I saw in HL football was at Borough Briggs, 1980 Q-Cup final, Buckie v .... The Jeggies.
In fact, the second worst incident in my time also involved the Jeggies, v Elgin at Forres for some cup final in the early 90s. Madchester era.
So, who were the real hoodlums in Sneck football?
I the Buckie Jags were fined £1500 after their fans had started a riot at Elgin again'st the Inverness Jags in the cup final after a severe gubbing. Don't expect any aggro this time as we are all happy clappers now according to this forum

It's the sheep mentality s few people start a cause and the sheep just join in.

Before the game I would have taken a draw but the way things turned playing some nice football we were robbed. Young goalie chucked in last minute and probably the worst ref all season and I am gutted we did not take all 3 points

Richie quoted in papers today saying two players joining Monday and possibly another two by end of the week.

I think the sports pundits work on the law of averages if they predict that we will be rubbish every season sometime they will be correct. Hopefully not this year though

There used to be a guy called Tremlett who covered the Highland league for the P & J back in the Jags and Caley days might be a relative
Season Ticket Prices
in Caley Thistle
Posted
I am still fuming about the season ticket prices. I have usually been one of the first to renew mine since the very first season in the bottom division. If they had nocked of £40 or £50 quid I would have payed up no prob no matter how bad they played last season or who the new boss is. Loyal fans are been shafted by the board and they might end up regretting it.
