  1. Deuchar is off to a Major League Soccer side...

Innes has just been on Sky Sports News... he has offers... would like to stay in SPL but would be willing to ply his trade in England... come on ICT get some of these guys signed at least until the end of the season so they can be monitored to see if they are good enough!

  2. Do you think we should sign Chris Innes who has just been made redundant?  or indeed any of the other Gretna players released today - Yantorno was released on Monday... I know he is injured, but could be useful for enxt season!!

  3. Keep your hair on sweet cheeks!!!  I just thought it deserved its own topic as it surely shouldnt be HIDDEN under McGurie rejects Caley THISTLE offer... why do people still not put Thistle... maybe that should be more of a Moderator issue!!!

  4. Interesting bit at the bottom of the Herald's article on Brewster hanging up his boots

Phil McGuire looks set to be confirmed as an Inverness player ahead of the fourth-round tie against Hibs, with the defender's move from Dunfermline close to being finalised. Graeme Bennett, the Inverness director of football, revealed a nominal fee had been agreed, but added: "We need to get everything done by 5pm Friday to make sure he can play against Hibs."

***IVY, ALL BEING DISCUSSED ON RUMOUR BOARD, WHEN CONFIRMED POST ON ICT UNTIL THEN KEEP ON ONE THREAD***

  5. If anything i think the Old Firm game will be on at 12.30 on the Saturday... leaving a good chance that the game v dons is on Sunday... im thinking about the players, not me personally... i couldnt imagint them having such a good night if they are playing the next day... could the club decline the move of the game on the grounds of a testimonial dinner??

As i said, it doesnt affect me, but i would have thought this would have been determined before the booking of such an event and therefore maybe there is no danger of the dons game being moved!!  :sillywave:

  6. I couldnt believe it when Brewster made his substitutions yesterday... surely being 3 nil up at home against Gretna would have been an ideal time to give some of the youngsters some much needed SPL experience... or are they simply on the bench to make up the numbers and Brewster doesnt think they are good enough, but because of the under 21 rule he is forced to have them there  :024:

I take it that Richard was injured, otherwise bringing on Roy McBain at that stage of the game was beyond me... although i didnt think Richard was struggling, nor did he go straight to the dressing room when he came off, so maybe it wa tactical... any info??

I can understand bringing on Markus... but why Graham Bayne!!!  Surely a youngster at that stage of the game made more sense...

Do we have to wait until we are 6 nil up to see what these guys can do!!!

  7. With Caff as good as gone, signing McGuire is almost essential IMO.  If we lose both then we really are going to be stretched at the back.

We're ok in the middle so long as we don't lose anybody and it's the same up front.

I believe Zibi only had a loan deal until January, and with Ridgers coming back from Elgin then I can't see us going out of our way to extend his loan here.  Although I would like to see a more experienced keeper pushing Mike for his place to keep him on his toes.

I think we'll see a few cheeky bids coming in for players as other teams perhaps sell players on and have a bit of cash to spend.  News that Robson is set to leave Utd might see the Grocer coming in for Rankin or something like that.

Although not ideal, we could see out the season without bringing anyone else in at this stage (McGuire situation aside) and our #1 priority should be in keeping as much of the squad intact as possible and getting our players sorted on new contracts.

With Ridgers signing at Elgin permanently... then a keeper now becomes a priority... maybe the club know something about the fat of Mark Brown if the UTD keeper joins Celtic :)

  8. Maybe its just me... but if the BBC manage to put it on their site... then surely ICT can too... who needs an official press release to say something about a key member of the backroom staff!!!

Thomson told BBC Sport: "I've enjoyed my time in England, but when the chance came to join up with Brew again I had to take it.  "He's a great professional in everything he does and I'm really looking forward to the move."
