  1. Unbelievably unlucky today. The effort and determination of everyone in the team was excellent.Quite possibly best performance this season and certainly deserved at least one point.Terry n Mo must be wondering what they have to do to get a win.Hope we can build on todays performance and who knows what the future holds .Have faith our luck has to change.
  2. Fully agree with you .From where I saw the assault on Doran the player in question should be on an assault charge. I hope he learns something from his disgraceful attack on another of our top players now that he succeeded in putting him out of action for possibly three months .Shame on you .I can accept accidents happen but this was totally out of order. Good luck Aaron hope we see you back soon .Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  3. GOOD LUCK NICK for tonight I hope you can rise above all the negative comments due to one bad day.You were a star for ICT last season and you will be a star this year. Very proud of you so you go out there and do your best and that will do me .Lets not forget you are only 19 (Ithink)and the best is yet to come.Enjoy the experience. All the Best.
  4. Thanks for that Liz what time does game start. Is game still likely to be on after all rain at weekend. I'll check with ICT Stadium tomorrow and put another entry on this site. Cheers .Just a pity these games dont get advertised better by club.

    Lookalikes

Thank you Alex .Have to agree maybe not in these photos but I was watching Grand Prix, and there is quite a resemblance in some poses. Lets face it we dont always see the same in people but thanks again for taking the trouble to post photos.

    Lookalikes

Does anyone else see the likeness between our very own Ryan Esson and F1 racing driver Jenson Button .
  10. You're right, the club have clearly made an error with the Senior Concession price with the North Stand and it should be closer to the ?240/?250 price range. I'll bring it to their attention. Really is that the best you can do .You may well be one of these seniors yourself one day. Oh and by the way I am aware that actually you have as much say in it as I have but perhaps a member of the club will eventually come out and explain their reasoning. My tongue in cheek comment was intended to point out that the situation can be spun in two different directions. Whilst you find it ridiculous that it costs ?110 more to sit in the Main Stand, others will find it pretty good value that they can get a seat in the North Stand for ?110 less.....it's the old cup half full/empty situation. If you can't afford/aren't willing to pay the price for one stand, then you get a ticket for the other. Just like every other group, you have the choice and some might say that the disproportionately generous rates for the North Stand for Seniors is actually favourable treatment. ICT have only existed since 1994....so whilst I agree that many of the seniors effected will have been loyal supporters for years, so will just about every other group from the age of about 32 onwards. None of these groups expects/gets such favourable rates for the Main Stand as Seniors have (until now)....so perhaps the club are just redressing an imbalance that has existed for longer than it perhaps should have. Sorry you were unable to see the point I was trying to make Caley D .I rest my case .

  12. Although I understand the need for price increases I would appreciate a response from the club as to why senior citizens sitting in main stand are being penalised. An adult in the main stand will pay ?50 more than an adult in the north stand. A senior citizen in the main stand will pay ?110 more than asenior citizen in the north stand. I am well aware of the early bird offer but that applies to everyone. This is something I feel the club should re-think as the majority of senior citizens in main stand have been loyal supporters for many years. With this decision ICT are limiting the seating choice for their loyal fans.
  13. Ok...... we wont finish in top six but if I was told at start of season that we would finish above bottom place I would have been delighted knowing what a year in 1st div.did to club. So lets all be happy with the the effort Terry ,Maurice and players have made to get us where we are with all the unfortunate injuries. We now need to get behind the boys and hope to finish as high as possible. We can still make it an exciting finish to this season and then look forward to another in the SPL. Im quite sure Hamilton would happily swap places with us today. Hope we get more play like yesterday good passing and linking up, no long wasted balls. Good entertaining game.....MORE PLEASE
  14. I can fully empathise with you .Being thrown out by these bullies you missed the incident at the end of the game. The ball mysteriously landed in our supporters area and a young steward sportingly threw it to some of our fans who were having a bit of fun with no intention of wanting to keep their ball, who would want it, out of nowhere this huge steward arrived and as we were celebrating with Terry and Boys he pushed in behind me ,my friend and family almost pushed me over the back of seat in front and I will never know how I held my footing ,my friend twisted her back trying to save herself it was horrendous treatment.I spoke to him and and he was extremely rude I tried speak to another steward and got same treatment .The police were a bit more sympathetic but said they had nothing to do with stewarding.I did get told the offending steward was the head supervisor for the area we were in .The second one I spoke to was walking away and I tapped his arm to get his attention only to be told dont touch me or I will have you for assault, who the hell do they think they are that they can throw their weight around like that.It didnt end there as some man with a clip board appeared and took my name and said he would try to get it sorted out.Next we got escorted out by two very pleasant stewards who were more than understanding .I then decided it is an absolute waste of time and energy to complain as they all stick together. We had a brilliant result and obviously they had to vent their anger on someone .We are quite probably the easiest and best behaved fans these nasty people have to deal with. They just cant deal with the Highlanders and our sense of humour and the fact we know how to make our day out enjoyable.Dont allow these Bxxxxxxx to ruin a fantastic day in the hitory of CALEY THISTLE be proud and try to move on .I have. The only way to deal with these guys is to directly speak to the police, in this instance you would have been well within your right to report him to them and say you want to report an assault, the police then would have had to deal with it as they would with anyone one the street. Just because they wear a yellow or orange jacket doesn't mean they can push people about. There are cameras everywhere in the stadium and the incident would have been caught on CCTV. I love the atmosphere of sitting near the guys who sing their hearts out but can't be bothered with the hassle from the stewards so sit further away safe in the knowledge that I won't be bothered by them. It's a poor thing to have to do in this day in age to enjoy a game but the only reason they do it is because they are power freaks who think they can bully fans about especially when it's a small number of fans. The truth is the police can't stand them and from speaking to the police direct they say that their job is made much harder by them. Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done as no matter how many letters we write or phone calls we make it won't change. Believe me we spoke to policeman who was in the area and my friend even got his number which he willinly gave when she asked for it but he insisted they have no control over stewards so I rest my case.
  15. Thats the way I saw it too .Great goal whoever takes the credit it was a brilliant team efort.
  16. Yeah, they will probably make us play all our games at home now to give others a chance !!!! What about an away game without hooligan stewards so we can really enjoy our fantastic performances .

    match day song

    Yes that would do fine
  19. Can I make a suggestion with ref. to song....He plays on the left ,he plays on the right etc could County be replaced by name of team we are playing on the day .since we are no longer in same div as county.Just feel it would be more effective but thats a personal opinion wondered what others think.Good to hear our own matchday songs .
  20. Aw dont try to burst the bubble.Live for today and enjoy the fantastic run Caley are having. Who would have thought this time last year that we would be unbeaten away from home almost a year later. Its a fantastic achievement by all ,whatever happens from here on.Away days are brilliant craic. Long may they last.
  21. Thank you this is much appreciated .Due to no supporters bus to Morton was unable to go to game, but this makes up for it.Keep up the excellent work.
  22. Sanchez ? I dont think so, not at the game I was at .
  23. The same handful of so called fans that fired the exact same abuse at previous managers when things were not going right.
  24. I'm not blaming the fans for the performance. I've accepted that County were the better team and we were poor on the match day thread. However the crowd have a part to play and yet again they were lacking preferring instead to boo and chastise instead of getting behind the guys. Some of the stuff coming from the North Stand yesterday was cringeworthy. However bad the support was in the north stand the support in the main stand will take a lot of beating where two ICT fans stood up and cheered Vigurs as he left the park , which led to them almost coming to blows with a true ICT supporter.Shocking behaviour. All teams have off days so for God sake lets support our team when they need it most. Just a pity our first bad game of season had to be against R C. Have faith.
