Having a laugh!! Today was Lionel's best game by miles. He has looked ok in the past but lacked composure on the ball or made you feel like he was going to trip over himself. Today he looked totally comfortable, ripped the **** on a few occasions as well. He just keeps getting better and better, wish he had scored today. He is going to turn in to some player the way he is going. He's being over-rated was no where near his man so often Hibs could have had a free run down the left if they got it over there. The odd good tackle or stumble past a man doesnt make him good. He did noting today to gain him more praise over say the new Machiiiiiineeeee Mhajidks. Imrie was imense running non stop up front, making every attack we had, holding the ball up, taking on men and winning about 69 free kicks. Your off the bus Yeh ? and it sounds like you completely missed the bus. Lionel is pure magic and all credit to Terry and Maurice for giving him the opportunity to prove himself. We are now watcthing LIONEL'S BLACK MAGIC & TERRY'S ALL GOLD

  4. He was at Rugby Park this season giving it "we want more" etc. for the whole 90 minutes. While his wholehearted backing is to be applauded, he seems to be a bit of a maverick and i don't know if his enthusiasm can be harnessed towards more collective efforts. That is to say, he doesn't feckin sing with everyone else, just on his own. My friend spoke to this gentleman at Rugby Park .He used to live in the Highlands but moved south to be with his brother .He now lives near Gretna hence the reason he is not able to come to home games but hopes to attend as many away as possible. Not sure where it was but he was on his own at an away game and some of our young boys went and joined him and sang along with him it was nice to see as they all appeared to be enjoying the craic. This is what support is about ,enjoyment and this gentleman certainly does that .
  5. Quite possibly best comments yet . No matter what the Board or anyone else does some people just need to moan and find fault . Its time now to put past behind us and enjoy the real possibility of not being relegated. Personally I am delighted with new management and results so far. Looking forward to rest of season rather than worrying about it .
  6. Does anyone have any news on Ian Black as we missed him desperately yesterday when he had to come off .Hope its not serious and he will be fit for Killie game .
  7. I was at game and there is no doubt in my mind MoM should have gone to either Tokely or Imrie who played their socks off all over the park. We could possibly have had a better result had we not been playing against 12 men , and that is not a biased remark its fact the ref was shocking yesterday and rightly booed off the park. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING

    Respect

However, up until now it has always been a rarity at our club. In fact, I can't recall ever having seen our players talking back to or swearing at the management, and the fact that they now seem to have started doing this makes me suspect that things are definitely going very wrong in the dressing room. Maybe so but lets not make things worse by lip reading and assuming what was said

    Respect

I was sitting very close to Brewnoclue and I certainly was very aware of the unrest. I didn't hear the words from one player, but I'm quite good at lip reading. :thumb04: First word definitely began with F and I think probably contained about 4 letters and was followed by something that looked very like OFF. :018: However, this was then followed with a longer word beginning with a W, not sure that was a sign of respect to the manager. I was very surprised to see these particular players talking back. Quote of the night from someone in the Main Stand, just as Malky was talking to Barry just before he went on to the park. 'And you're trying to tell him how to play football' ;) Bit like trying to teach your Granny to suck eggs I suppose. I was aware of these incidents but this goes on all the time in other clubs .Do you not think Brew has had enough negative comments on the site without spelling out to him what is only an assumption by lip reading. This does not mean I condone any form of disrespect towards the manager but lets not start putting words in players mouths .
  10. I was not meaning to imply that you would be wanting a drink and I am very sorry if that is the way it came across .I was talking very generally please accept my apologies .
  11. Next time why dont you go on supporters club bus and im quite sure you wont be disappointed .COSY COMFORTABLE AND CHEAP and pretty good craic too .BUT no alchohol on bus so which is more important seeing your team or having a drink . You do get a pub and pee stop in Perth .Look forward to seeing you all .
  12. I am entitled to my opinion as as far as I am concerned nobody pours a drink down an alcoholics throat, nobody forces a junkie to shoot up and nobody forced him into a bookies. Unlike the other sheep that pity him because of his successful ICT years ( Which we are all thankful to him for ) as far as I am concerned - we reap what we sow. Ask Peterhead why they kicked him out Yes Mr Asterix you are entitled to your opinion I can only asume that you have sailed through life with no troubles either that or you are a very hard hearted person, and I am certainly no sheep. There are no guarantees in this life .S P. has been very courageous to admit to his problem especially when he is at a very low point .I personally dont believe in kicking a man when he is down .Dont forget you DO reap what you sow .I imagine every true fan will be praying for his speedy recovery myself included . Oops sorry got spelling of your name wrong Mr Asterisk but just had a thought perhaps your attitude has something to do with the fact Steve Patersons aka is Pele and yours is Mr Asterisk. I rest my case .

  14. Very sad news but lets all wish him well and hope for his own sake and his family he gets the help he obviously needs.I look forward to hearing of his recovery .
  15. Oh believe me i have a pretty good sense of humour .Glad your not in my gang if this is what you call humour .
  16. Not for long if this is the kind of comments he has to contend with .

It?? appears that i agree with above quote .Icertainly do not,? and find HARRY CHIBBER referring to DON? COWIE? as an ex tink very offensive .???????????????????????????
  18. L.G....Oh well in the unfortunate event of both taking place so close i really wish you all good luck and for the sake of all parties involved i hope there ARE enough people in Inverness ,but i still feel in future there should be a bit better communication between both as we hopefully all have the clubs best interest at heart and lets not have any more coincidences.Good luck to you all and heres to a good night .
  19. L.G. thank you for your very informative explanation but at no time did i think that you are not doing a good job but what i questioned is the fact both are having the same fund raising events within two weeks of each other with the best will in the world i cant see how both can benefit from this .Is there no other way of fund raising than race nights ,and before you ask i dont have any suggestions at moment but maybe someone out there has .
  20. thank you for putting my mind at ease as i have arranged to bring quite a lot of friends along and since i had to disaapoint them already this season with an event cancellation ,if i had to do it again i would not be very popular and it leaves me free on 12th to celebrate my anniversary. I must add as an avid member who only wishes the best for the club and wants to see us move forward it is sad to think that the supporters club and supporters trust do not seem to be working together .As they have been advertised in the space of 24hrs between i think it needs looking into as i can forsee problems especially when its the same event thats taking place .The mind boggles .
  21. :015: ;) :thumb04: :018: Could somebody from supporters club please confirm date of race night as i am confused to say the least . I read last night it was on 26th sept. now tonight it appears to be changed to 12th i will be disappointed if this is the case as i had planned to go but as 12th sept is my wed anniversary it would be out of the question .
  22. I fully agree it was an excellent performance today by the whole team , a very good game to watch. In my opinion there is one man to thank ,and that is Brewster .The change in the short time since he came back is very obvious, even though he did not play he was constantly giving instructions to the boys from the sideline We have very good players and Brew has the ability to get the best from them . Don Cowie is special lets hope he wants to stay with us .
  23. Its now official Brew is back .All this negativity needs to stop and as true supporters lets get behind our new manager and players and look forward to a good season ........... Johnboy.......as to who he may leave out I really don't mind at this stage as long as he can get some points on table for us..FOR GOD SAKE GIVE HIM A BREAK . WELCOME BACK BREW AND ALL THE BEST
