...and we are looking to get hammered
No point playing us then.
Haha. Top quality!

You must be taking the p1ss here surely.
As far as I am aware there is no history between ICT and Elgin.
Now you are being even more of a pain than usual.
-
The Elgin fan is hilarious. He's trying his hardest to manufacture some kind of rivalry between two clubs who have no history of having any rivalry whatsoever.
You must be taking the p1ss here surely.

Och ya know what I am so sick and tired of this now!
Me too. I can't be @rsed with all of this any more. I'm a football fan not a political activist. I just want to watch a game of football between a team that means something to me versus the opposition. Simple as that.
Reading this thread and others that are similar is just giving me a sore head. Fed up of the whole thing and would welcome a period of watching HL football for a while.

By the way, was Terry Butcher there last night? I saw Maurice Malpas, but I never spotted Butcher.
Yeah, was standing beside me on the terracing behind the Clach dugout.
I was quite impressed by Conor Pepper in the short time he had on the pitch. Bags of pace, always looking for the ball, makes great runs. I can see him pushing for the first team as a direct replacement for Hayes.
-
Was going to go but just looked on the Clach site and saw the game is being played over the pond so probably won't make it now.
Joking aside I'm maybe going and will do updates if so.

Cheers for that buckiejagsman. Looked a reasonable game as far as pre-season friendlies go. Kudos to the cameraman too for his/her excellent work.
Are Buckie considering a cheeky wee bid to join the SFL instead of Sevco5088? Would be a laugh if you did!

If he stays for 3 years we should give him a testimonial.

New training kit looks pretty smart.

It's the principle guys...he'd still have to do a lot of trimming to get down to anything like what Killie will do in a season.
Well if you're quoting mileages down to one decimal place it is assummed you will be 100% correct. If it turns out you are literally miles off then it makes your letter look a bit silly.

Disagreeing here boys. There's six weeks until the start of the season and there is no way that Pariah FC will be ready by then. I reckon suspended from all competition for a year while league reorganisation and funding rationalisation takes place. Where they go depends upon what further skeletons rattle their way out of the cupboard - and there is the potential for some feckin huuuuuge ones, never mind what Charlie Greens or Strathclyde Polis's next move might be. £124 219 412.37 in debt, of which 94 426 217.22 is due to the nice tax man? There are questions in there that are going to take a lot longer than 6 weeks to answer. Oh aye and the SFA have still got to give a new, approved punishment? Take a year out please chaps, and get your sh*t together.
That's a fair shout Davie.
Nope, disagree. We have a new company and an old company. You can't punish the NewCo for any misdemeanors by the OldCo. That's why the starting off position of the NewCo is so important. It is the only opportunity to punish Rangers for what they have done, and the only way to appease supporters of all clubs so that they might not turn their back on attending games for good.
NewCo Rangers must start in Div 3 season 2012/13.

Jonny announcing today where his future lies according to his Twitter. Not Hibs. Not County (as if he would!).

SPL only exist under license from the SFA....so yeah, they have plenty of authority in telling the SPL and SFL what to do.
On paper yes. But in the real world? Never going to happen.
-
Never going to happen. The SFA have little more than a ceremonial role to play these days when it comes to club football. Scottish Cup draws and the like.
So the SFA are going to tell the SPL they MUST merge with the SFL! Hahahahaha............

Grant Adam maybe?
Was he not the goalie who got done for sectarian stuff recently?
That's him. Cue "fresh start", "away from the bright lights" etc. soundbites from Terry next week.

Grant Adam maybe?

I remember driving through to Peterhead on a Sunday in July 1996 to see our new 17-year-old central midfield star make his debut in the Buchan Cup. Unfortunately a fairly serious back injury saw him carted off in the 1st half.
It's hard to believe that the same guy is only just leaving us now. Compare 1996 (hardly anyone had a mobile phone or internet access) to now. A time shift of a whole generation and Rossco was there with ICT from start to finish.
All the best Ross.

As i dont read The S*n. Can anyone explain Johnnys Tweet
Day 1; jonny Hayes 0-1 the sun
He's a fair-skinned redhead who goes into a red rage when exposed to "the sun". Don't we all!

Just to keep this updated. Read this today...
Aberdeen manager Craig Brown’s number one target Jonny Hayes has been offered a two-year contract at Pittodrie.
The 24-year-old Irish attacker, who has also been offered a new two-year deal by Caley Thistle, held contract talks with Brown and Dons chief executive Duncan Fraser yesterday.
Aberdeen have also been given the go-ahead to open contract talks with Nigel Hasselbaink after the Dutch attacker rejected an offer from St Mirren.

Just to keep you updated - ignore any Aberdeen FC transfer related story in the P&J because it will almost certainly be made up shïte by their hacks.

The weather's awful in Inverness today. Definitely a day for doing something indoors. But what?
Elgin away 14th July
in Caley Thistle
Posted
ECFC fans, and a lot of Elgin people in general, just have a mountain-sized chip on their shoulder. They think they should be equal/better than Inverness but almost always prove to be inferior. Damn shame.
Having said that, I would love to have them in the same league as us. Proper rivalry, not this namby pamby Highland Derby stuff.
