  1. Bump. Is there a plan in place? As much as I like Richie it's clear he's (sadly) out of his depth. A new assistant perhaps? New investment?

Something has to give. We need to stay up. Apologies in advance to the happy clappers.

A 6-0 defeat is hard to take, but let's just put this in a bit of perspective and compare it with results in the previous manager's first season with us.

Despite taking over the side when we were 2nd in the league and inheriting a significantly stronger squad than then he left us with, in his first year here Hughes took his team to Celtic Park twice in the league where we were hammered 5-0 and then 6-0 by a Celtic team which was not a patch on the team we saw today.  In the cup we managed to scrape through against Stranraer after a reply before being thrashed 5-0 at home by Dundee Utd.

As for the game itself, whilst accepting we clearly have issues at the back, I thought the result was more a reflection of the quality and application of a superb Celtic side than of a poor performance from us.  I've seen us play worse than that and win.

That's about as happy clappy as it gets.

I see the club have cancelled the event at the stadium allowing fans to see the game there. Hopefully this means more folk are going to the game itself.

I thought it was a great idea. If I lived in Inverness I'd have gone to the stadium to watch it. Poor show there's not enough interest.

It must be part of the reason why CTO doesn't seem anywhere near as busy as it used to be.  Anything critical posted, no-matter how accurate is immediately shot down by the Together We Believe... mob.  Sad!

Due to the midweek fixture and volunteers who normally undertake the production of the interviews being unavailable, there was no club interview done.

There are supporters with degrees in journalism who could help. A good opportunity to expand the media team.

I am on the imperative we stay up side, relegation, would be disastrous. I believe Richie can keep the Club up but he is going to need all the support ;he can get.

I'd be surprised if we take more than a couple of hundred to this sadly. I wonder what the ticket prices will be like.

Celtic are pricing the tickets at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £10 for u16s

Bookies, well Bet365 anyway, giving odds of 17/2 (9.50) for an Elgin win. Considering the current form of both teams and how we mauled Alloa in the diddy cup it shouldn't be sniffed at....should it?

Now 7/1 for an Elgin win. I cannot see Elgin being able to compete with us. They're part time and our players have had the benefit of the break. We will win comfortably.

Hopefully look closer to home to find a gem. There must be at least one or maybe two from the Highland League that with full time training, the right coaching and development could maybe make their mark. Appreciate it's a gamble but good players slip through net we just need to identify them.

    Using what?

What fans use to buy tickets, merchandise and play the centenary club. I believe it's called money.

It's not a belief.....I know for a fact that a great many journalists/reporters watch fans forums looking for stuff they can build a story (or non story) on.

It's kinda my job to know and keep an eye on these things!!

It's not your job. It's Dean Ebbe's job.

Say what you like about Roy McGregor, he knows that it's very difficult to run a full time football team outside the top flight in Scotland so when County look like they are in trouble he makes sure hsi team stays up.  We are going to downsize our way into being the next St Mirren or Dunfermline, both clubs who were established in the top flight but have busted out.  I don't have much confidence in us managing to change the squad in the window either, maybe this guy we've signed from the Leinester Mens Sunday League (corner flag and goalnets cost extra) will shoot us to safety.

Spot on post. Will the board step up to prevent our ominous looking relegation situation?
