  1. I have just had a reply from the journalist who wrote the piece on Saturdays game. His claim is that his report was edited by a sub-editor because it was too long.

He carries on that not much positive could be writen about ICT anyway, apart from the new signings looking the part., and Partick played the better football.

Sounds like passing the buck, but fair play to him at least he replied.

I hopr you pointed out or are going to at least, that better football or not they got pumped out of the cup (in a nice way though). :thumb04:

Rest assured he has been suitably reminded of the result :rotflmao:

  3. Just read some stats for Morais.

Looks like he is made to play for us, Last league win he played in was 12 games ago against Kilmarnock.... March 2008, but he did score :thumb04: So he is due a win.

Still congrats for display on Sat and good luck to him.for rest of the season :rotflmao:

  4. hopefully the bus wont be full, other wise i,ll have to sit next to someone like ihe :thumb04: :018:

Dont fret - I only sit next to intelligent peeple.

you got a bus to yourself then? ;)

I know the organizers dont mind making detours, within reason, but I think they may draw the line at going via Chorley.

So I suppose coming via Dewsbury is out of the question? :rotflmao:

  5. even aviemore seems to be getting dragged into it,a few weeks before christmas,i left for work at 7am and whole street across from me was cordoned off seemingly some 16 year old got stabbed in the leg and guy who ALLEGEDLY did it stays in my street,he wasnt long out of prison, and comes from a bad family

heard today on friday night 2 streets away from me a guy got slashed from ear to ear, including cutting his windpipe hes critical in raigmore,it was ALLEGEDLY his girlfriends son who did it ,so aviemore is getting bad also, these are just reported one,but i have heard of a few more,a guy in new robertsons house a few months back ALLEGEDLY attacked a guy with a machete

Not a new thing in Aviemore. In Late 80's i seen a guy murdered outside Smiffy's chippy. Guy only got 7 years .

Blackie hope you don't mind stuck a couple of ALLEGEDLY'S in your piece, just in case they haven't got to court yet

  6. I never had any problems in Inverness anytime I had a night out there. Carrbridge was a diffrent matter. Lost count of the amount of scraps there.

Now here in Dewsbury I wouldn't dare go out at night, gangs roaming about looking for targets, druggies looking for trouble, stabbings, taxi's have no-go areas after dark because they get shot at etc. Apart from that its ok here :rotflmao:

  7. Kilmarnock seems to be the only team we can beat home and away so if it a Prem team, Killie, otherwise Peterhead or East Fife would see us through safely.

Though wouldn't really like to go to Methil again, Is there a more depressing town in Scotland?

  8. possibly too early to say but maybe some of the posters who thought these new players were duds might be trying to wipe the egg off their faces

Ha, one in the eye for the serial moaners! :rotflmao:

Doesn,t take much for the pro Brewster peeps smugness to come out, does it.

Its Partick thistle from the first division. At least we should get 6 points off them next season

  9. Graeme Bennett, the club's director of football, said: "Although Pavels has signed, we were unfortunately unaware there is a four hour time difference with Latvia.

    :rotflmao:

    ...and the world is round.

Being the Director of anything you would think you would need a reasonable degree of intelligence, so to be unaware that there was a time diffrence to Latvia is :thumb04: but then to realise there is a time diffrence and then get it wrong(its 2 hours) :018: ;) .

Seems this is the standard of managment at ICT at the moment

  11. Dead-Ball-Specialist asks,

" I actually said to my mates at half time "what are the odds of us undoing all that good work and conceding our trademark soft goal in the first 5 minutes?" Wham bam thankyou mam that's exactly what happened and as usual"

I got on at 17/2 at half time for next goal 45min-49min59sec.

  12. Brewster : Manager has 0% support from fans, but 100% support from Board.

0% from fans not strictly true. There were 4 ladies, of various ages, behind me on saturday, who tried to get a chorus of "there's only one craig Brewster" going after Tokley scored with no success or support from anyone else.

These were the only fans supporting Brewster at the game on saturday

  13. Just back from the game.

The "team" showed no heart, no passion, no idea what the "tactics were, no willingness to get stuck in. They were a bunch of kids playing together for the first time in a school field.

Nobody seemed to know what their job was, nobody was willing to tell anyone what they were supposed to do.

Brewster has had 16 months with most of these players and if that is the best he can come up with , well , He needs to have a serious look at himself and admit , He just can,t do the job. But as we all know he hasn't the guts to admit he is the wrong man, in the wrong job, in the wrong club. Can he honestly say he would pay to watch his team?

I don't get to too many games due to distance and family but I'll think twice about spending over ?100 for a day out to watch ICT with Brewster in charge

  14. I personnally as a rule don't swear in day to day life, stubbing toe, numpty pulling out in front off me in car etc aside and only if kids are not around.

But When at the football that is a place where I let rip. Its supposed to be a passionate game and passions can run high at times. When I have taken my son(aged 12) to a game I tell him that I might say the odd dodgey word and its part of supporting your team especially when people like Brewster are ruining the team you support. This hasn't turned him into a fowl mouthed chav. He knows its part of the game and has said that school its as bad if not worse.

I have a bigger gripe with the mothers who stand outside my youngest boys (aged 5) classroom at beginning and end of the day, swearing, smoking, talking about what they did to their latest boyfriend at the weekend. That I think is more inappropriate the swearing at a game of football
